Liveware Problem

Blog Post

Captioned Title: The Deep Submersible Support Vessel (DSSV) Pressure Drop, the expedition support ship of the Five Deeps Expedition led by Victor Vescovo, had a rescue boat called the Liveware Problem. According to the crew, the inside joke is that if the ship ever sank and had to use the boat, it would probably be because of a “liveware problem.”

Bullet Points:

** Vladimir Putin just added the LGBTQI2+ movement to Russia’s list of terrorist organizations.

** Milwaukee took more than $1 million in ‘Zuckerbucks’ ahead of vote to ban private election funding

The Milwaukee Election Commission and the Milwaukee Public Library received a $250,000 grant, while the commission received a separate $785,850 grant from the nonprofit Cities Forward (Meta funded) for election administration.

** On VM 3/25/24, I replied to Frank by quoting this declassified CIA document. It might be fun to read it now if you didn’t read it then and comment if you are moved to. Keep going down the prediction of the cataclysmic rotation of the Earth on its axis every 12,000 years +/- when tsunamis cleanse the planet and start over. Then, break from the CIA document and reflect on Dr. Strangelove’s scenario and mine shafts. Ok, what do I think? I think that it’s smoke and hokum, but it’s fun.

** (CDRSAL)  I have been a vocal opponent to the US Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), often referred to as the “Little Crappy Ship”. Long ago I suggested that we put radar reflectors on them and sail them around Taiwan, goading the People’s Liberation Army’s Navy to sink a few and get the party started. The reflectors would make them look like capital targets. In this way, they might earn their keep. Otherwise, no, there is nothing to recommend them to the US Navy or the taxpayers who footed the bill for this boondoggle. CDR SAL’s words are sharper than mine.

** CANCON is coming to Arizona. Shoot silenced weapons all day for $50. It promotes the sale of suppressors in Arizona. In some states, they’re illegal. Strange.

** VDH: The  Predictable 2024 Biden Non-Campaign — Joe Biden reportedly is weirdly asking the Ukrainians not to strike Russian oil facilities, despite the military utility of such attacks. Why? Not because he fears a broader war since he had sent no such request in the prior two years of fighting.

It is the same reason why, on the eve of the 2022 midterm elections, Biden began draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (down to 360,000 million barrels from a high of 631,000 at his inauguration) to get cheaper gas prices right before the voting. Biden further campaigned in 2020, blasting Saudi Arabia as a “pariah” nation. But by early 2022, he was courting the Saudis, the Venezuelans, the Iranians, and, by default, the Russians to pump more oil.

The message? In non-election years, Biden & Co. blasted fossil fuels as doomed and dirty. In election years, they beg others to pump the icky goo to surfeit. So, at least until November 2024, expect surreal petroleum-fueled restraint as Iranian surrogates freely hit more U.S. targets. Venezuela, without worry, will threaten its neighbors. “Pariah” Saudis for a while longer stay our new old “strategic” partner. The “murderer” Putin’s oil is off-limits.

Secondly, the “ultra-MAGA” and “semi-fascist” Trump becomes “broke Don” who is foreclosed upon and who planned an “insurrection” and “civil war” on January 6 after “praising” racists in Charlottesville and damning dead GIs as “suckers.”

Thirdly, Biden will give lots of free stuff to win votes. So, despite a $35 trillion national debt, expect massive new student loan debt cancellations and amnesties before November. After 10 million illegal entries, anticipate sudden tough but otherwise empty Biden gibberish about “securing the border.” There will be louder cries for Israel to stand down and essentially resuscitate Hamas. So here again is Biden’s talking points in 2024: (a) Gloat that Trump is broke and a crook and headed to jail—at least according to legal geniuses like Alvin Bragg, E. Jean Carroll, Letitia James, Jack Smith, and Fani Willis. Blame Trump for all the things Biden did that wrecked the country in 2021-4. (b) Hand out amnesties, pardons, free stuff, and windfalls to the electorate in “you get it now, they pay later” fashion. (c) Assure wavering blacks, Latinos, and Jews that Trump is a racist and an anti-Semite. (d) Do not mention soaring food and gas prices, a destroyed border and a stampede of illegal aliens, high-interest rates and mortgages, an epidemic of homelessness and violent crime, and the world turned upside down in Ukraine, the Middle East, the Red Sea, the Philippines, Haiti, and Taiwan. (e) Claim a “feisty” and “supercharged” Joe is “raring to go” and “can’t wait” to hit the campaign trail to “take on” Trump because he has never been more “in charge,” more “dynamic,” and more “cocky.”

** The hail storm that destroyed 10,000 acres of solar panels…  (Daily Caller) “Kaminski shared with ABC 13 that he was worried some of the chemicals in the solar panel might seep into the ground and the water, causing health problems. “That’s what we take a shower with, we drink with,” he told ABC 13. “It could be in our water now.”

** (Fox News) NBC News has officially terminated its short-lived relationship with former RNC chair Ronna (Corona) McDaniel, according to a memo sent to staff by the network’s boss. So much for the Mitt Romney (D/R-UT) machine’s merger.

The Dog Ate the Homework Defense

(Law Enforcement Today) The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has failed to file thousands of notices to appear (NTAs), leading to immigration judges dismissing thousands of deportation cases under Joe Biden’s administration.

A new report from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) released on March 20 says that “without proper filing, the Court lacks jurisdiction to hear the case, and the immigrants, often asylum seekers, lack a way to move their case forward.”

According to the New York Post, immigrants are issued NTAs when they are apprehended upon crossing the border illegally into the United States. A hearing date, often years in advance, is assigned to those claiming asylum to allow them to go before an immigration judge to explain why they should not be deported.

All NTAs must also be filed with the court assigned to the immigrant.

“These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raises serious concerns,” the TRAC report says. The report says there has been “almost a total lack of transparency on where and why these DHS failures occurred.”

The Syracuse University-based, nonpartisan report also says that “equally troubling is the lack of solid information on what happened to these many immigrants when DHS never rectified its failure by reissuing and filing new NTAs to restart their court cases.”

Adding to the concern, the TRAC report notes, “Almost all Immigration Court cases are removal cases for which DHS must file and NTA for the case to go forward.”

This should be of no surprise given the Biden administration’s handling of our borders in general. However, it should be cause for concern.

In 2020, 6,482 cases were dismissed due to NTAs not being filed with the court. 2021 saw a massive leap in case dismissals, with a total of 33,802. 2022 saw another jump to 79,592 case dismissals for the same reason. And finally, 2023 saw a slight decrease to 68,869 cases dismissed due to no NTAs filed.

As of the end of February 2024, 10,598 deportation cases have been dismissed due to no NTAs, according to the TRAC report.

For reference, less than one percent of deportation cases were dismissed between 2014 and 2020. That number jumped to 8.4% in the first three years of Biden’s administration.

DHS has been found to only rectify about one in four dismissals for cases where NTAs were issued to immigrants but not filed with the courts. TRAC reports that in around 2,000 cases, the NTA was filed late with the immigration courts.

Miami, Florida, and Houston, Texas, are reportedly at the top of the list of case dismissals, with more than half of their deportation cases being dismissed since 2021 due to no NTAs filed with the immigration courts.

“With Immigration Judges staring down 3.5 million pending immigration cases, every wasted hearing is a hearing that could have moved another case forward or resolved it,” the TRAC report stated.

With the invasion happening on our borders and even via the air due to Biden flying illegals into the country, it is no surprise that our Immigration Courts are overwhelmed. There is no excuse for the deliberate neglect of Biden and his administration in securing our borders. Welcome to the great reset.

Memory fails me…have we featured this twofer before?

2

Hint: Lindburgh Field, San Diego, CA

3

Only 69 were produced, and probably no more than a dozen saw service, mostly at low-medium altitudes where it seems to have done well despite not being its primary purpose.

    1. Well done Jack!

I hoped that the B-32 might have taken a few extra minutes. People forget about the Dominator.

  2. Identify the Aircraft:

  3. Zucker-election-interference- $146K+ for a ballot tabulator? Must be a special kind of tabulator, like really hardened to avoid China connection…err…hacking. Heck, Ms. Elsa Lundberg will volunteer to hand count ballots for the tiny sum of coffee and pastries. Ya think Milwaukee is Dem run and running for the fences in the full-court press to steal the election? Nah, their such nice folks, and Lutheran…couldn’t be they’re corrupt. Here’s hoping it rains 3-day old hot boiled Lutefisk on their heads.

Saw this: In 2023, the Obama’s produced a movie called Leave the World Behind, where a cyberattack causes a massive container ship to lose power & crash. Hmm, tap, tap, tap. Nah, no coincidence.

I DO NOT believe Lara Logan or Gen. Flynn’s supposition this was a terrorist attack, just an unfortunate accident with a ship that has run into other things before. Altho the Fibbies immediately coming out stating this was not terrorists is really suspect, but they aren’t too bright. This could have been a lot worse.

And like clockwork, 24 hours later while 6 people have not been pulled from the water and wreckage, now the FSK bridge is racist. Anthropomorphizing an inanimate object to push the idiotic narrative: https://redstate.com/bobhoge/2024/03/27/repugnant-ap-tries-to-inject-race-into-tragic-baltimore-bridge-collapse-drags-up-namesakes-slavery-past-n2171970

You will never find me in any submersible…sorry, ain’t happening. Too much trust in engineers (and I are one) and I might get claustrophobic and flip out halfway down. Same with Space. Nope. I’ll stick with Terra-firma.

    1. You’re right. That racist bridge (named for a member of the White Patriarchy who identified as male) needed to come down. The new bridge should be named for a pillar of the community. Or maybe two? What about the Barack and Big Mike Obama Bridge? You have to admit that it has a ring to it.

      1. The BnBMOB…does have a certain grifter ring to it. But knowing The Degenerates (Petee Boot-Edge-Edge runs that show), they” likely rename it “The Saint George Memorial Bridge”, with the requisite Statue Grotto mid-span in case someone wants to genuflect or leave flowers to the Democrat Patron Saint…you know…for safe travels while transporting Cartel Fentanyl.

  4. Couldn’t agree more on the LCS…Saw that CF from the ‘inside’ and it was even more ugly there. I’m not surprised DHS is ‘dropping’ the ball, couldn’t possibly be by direction…of course not…

  5. Late night musing: there are disaster books and movies that have a MUCH better plot and story line 🙂 As for the bridge, several sites mentioned a BO movie where a ship hitting a bridge causes major problems. Haven’t seen it, but it’s either a wild coincidence or something that makes you go hmmm. I guess we’ll have to wait for the official lies to be announced before reaching a conclusion. Russian oil: funny how these world class idiots keep getting slammed by unintended consequences, but then turn around and confidently start their next Big Thing.
