The Arab World

Blog Post
For your Sunday edification, I have chosen three relatively short YouTube videos. The first two from Prager U discuss the ramifications of the acrimony that the Arab world has for Israel and the general formation of ISIS, respectively. The third is Vladimir Putin’s understanding of what led ISIS to be what it is today and who propelled it. I think that all three are on point and recommend them.
A view of the region and Israel
And what about ISIS?

  1. Excellent videos LL. Especially the first one. It reminds me of the biblical sanctions promised against those who oppress Israel as God states in Genesis 12:3:

"And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed."

Now that Trump seeks to improve our relations with Israel, I wonder how this will affect our nation.

  2. I believe that much of our problems in the East comes from Obama's actions, not Bush. Bush made some mistakes, but not like Obama issuing arms, billions of dollars and, in the withdrawal of troops, left everything there for them to use against us. I also believe Trump can made a positive change, but the MSM is bound and determined to destroy him. Things could be done to correct this, but then we would be like Germany taking over the media. So how can the onslaught of the MSM be stopped, or tempered?

  3. We're on the right side of things now. But we're only three weeks into it. PM Netanyahu will be visiting Pres. Trump soon and I'm looking forward to see all that evolve.

  4. George W. Bush destabilized the Middle East by invading Iraq without an end game. Iraq was the bulwark that stood against Iran (like them or not, they did). The US took their place and then Barack made matters much worse. We dumped 6 trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan with NOTHING to show for it. They are lessons that we (collectively) still refuse to recognize. I think that President Trump sees the folly where people like Sen. McCain do not. The MSM have made themselves irrelevant to a large number of the public, which is why Donald Trump was elected…and they're furious.
