(PJ Media) For years, Americans have been asking a simple question about January 6: How many FBI agents were actually in those crowds? The answer we just got should make everyone’s blood boil, not just because of how long it took for us to get this answer, but because of new questions it raises.
The FBI finally acknowledged to Congress that 274 plainclothes agents were embedded in the January 6 crowds in Washington. Let that sink in for a moment — nearly three hundred federal agents, mingling among protesters, and we’re just hearing about this now?
But here’s where it gets really infuriating. Just last December, the Department of Justice’s own watchdog proudly announced there was “no evidence” of undercover FBI employees in the protest crowds. The Inspector General’s report was crystal clear: no undercover agents at the Capitol on January 6. Period. End of story. We all knew better, of course, but it begs the question of why the truth was being covered up in the first place.
This disclosure comes after years of congressional Republicans like Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson demanding answers about the FBI’s presence that day. Years of being told to sit down and shut up while the bureau claimed everything was above board. Years of watching January 6 defendants wonder if federal agents were among those encouraging the very behavior that landed regular Americans in prison — even those who didn’t enter the Capitol at all.
The most maddening part of all this is that we still don’t have the full picture. The FBI won’t tell us what those 274 plainclothes agents were actually doing in those crowds. Were they just observing? Were they participating? Were any of them among the people encouraging others to enter the Capitol? We don’t know, and based on the FBI’s track record, we may never know. But I think it’s easy to conclude that there’s a significant reason the FBI covered this up for so long.
I’d like to see James Ray Epps testify before Congress. How much did the FBI pay him directly and how much did they spend hiding him? Let’s rip that bandaid off.
How many other government shills were in the crowd? Who are they and what were they paid to instigate violence?
Will FBI Director Christopher Wray ever be indicted, tried, convicted and imprisoned for this? They all lied about it before Congress. What about Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)? Will she be held to account?

That’s 274 from the FBI. How many from the Capital Police, DC PD, Parks Police. US Fish and Wildlife, BATFE, DoE, DEA, DOJ, US Postal Police, Library of Congress (they… have a SWAT team, what else do they have?,) Bureau of Land Management (the other BLM,) EPA (yep, another group with SWAT teams…,) IRS (SWAT teams….,) and, who knows, Smithsonian cops? US Secret Service? Homeland Security, State Department, and any other state or federal agency, division, bureau, unit, team or whatever that could have been there and was suborned by the Obama administration?

The failure of the House to produce an annual budget using the established processes, move it forward to Senate and finally produce a budget for the president to sign is not new. I forgot how many times my military pay was delayed until a budget was finally signed. At least it wasn’t every year or the giant political circus we have now.

Robotics: In the late 1900s and early 20s I used to visit Taipei frequently. At one of the industrial sales exhibits I watched robotic machines using either a computer photo, engineering blueprint or an existing part to produce exact replicas to size. Those machines were able to scale the end product to the customer’s specifications. Yes, we have CNC machines, robotic automobile paint shops, or robotic sex dolls but we are way behind on industrial production or farm robotics.
Conclusions about lying vs the crime: I asked google AI and Perplexity about Comey vs Martha Stewart crimes. Google said they were not the same. Comey was about lying to congress and Stewart about lying to Federal agents. Therefore it is different. Perplexity only stated the facts and emphasized Comey made a distinction between the crime and lying about it when he had Martha charged.
I am glad to see Comey get his due. It would have been better if they quoted Martha’s charges word for word.

I used to do this. Import photos from the local jail or the DMV, enlarge each photo so only the face is in the frame (or at least making all the heads the same size,) remove backgrounds and obvious clothing and jewelry (DL photos) and trying to convince the cops to not put the suspect in the # 5 (top row, 1,2,3 bottom row 4,5,6) every damn time because, yep, that’s another thing the defense attorneys could attack on.

My photo lineups were awesome, in comparison to normal photo lineups by the cops. Got a higher than normal number of hits. Got notice by the local state cops and the local Sheriff’s Department. Did I get any official notice from the PD or city? No… Any additional compensation? Who were these people and who hired them?
