Brazilians in Ukraine

Guilherme Ribeiro, a military man from Brazil, stated that before the start of fighting, Latin American soldiers turn to prayer. ‘Brazilians are Christians. We are indeed very religious, so we always pray the Lord’s Prayer before battle, he added. In the Ukrainian Legion, English is the primary language of communication, primarily due to the diverse nationalities among the fighters.

Recently, Brazilian soldiers from the 2nd International Legion have been deployed to finish off the remnants of the Russian breakthrough attempt towards Dobropillia. Gaining extensive combat experience during the intense defense of Donetsk Oblast, these volunteers are now using this to eliminate the remaining enemy pockets of trapped soldiers, according to RFU News. It is noted that the Pokrovsk front has become the latest battlefield where Ukraine’s 2nd International Legion, partly redeployed from Zaporizzhia and Chasiv Yar, is playing a decisive role. Operating as highly mobile infantry supported by drones, the unit provides Ukrainian commanders with a flexible force capable of reacting quickly to threats, while simultaneously launching raids that unsettle Russian forces already suffering from enormous losses.

Among the most notable groups within the 2nd Legion are Brazilian volunteers. Brazil is home to a Ukrainian diaspora of approximately 600,000 people, many of whom reside in the Paraná state. For some, cultural roots motivate them to join; for others, anti-communist convictions or personal outrage at the Russian invasion drive them. With many being veterans of Brazil’s military or police forces, bringing specialized skills in small-unit tactics, reconnaissance, and urban combat, says RFU News. In Pokrovsk, where Russian assaults often rely on infiltration and poorly coordinated pushes, Brazilian fighters are well-suited to counter them. By clearing Russian infiltrators from villages near Pokrovsk and stabilizing threatened flanks, they contribute directly to the broader Ukrainian plan of encircling and eliminating Russian forces that have struggled for months to make progress in this sector. Brazilian actions on the flanks of Pokrovsk exemplify the unit’s mission: clear infiltration groups, secure villages, and provide rapid, precise, small-unit power where it is needed most. Around Pokrovsk, the 2nd International Legion’s Brazilian contingent has demonstrated how their jungle-honed skills transfer seamlessly into Ukraine’s contested forests and villages.

One video shows them advancing quietly through dense woodland on a reconnaissance mission, using their natural ability to move unseen, camouflage effectively, and set ambushes. Such expertise allows them to surprise Russian troops, capture prisoners, or eliminate threats before they can endanger larger Ukrainian formations.

Hasbro Updates Classic Board Game “Clue” to Include Transgender and Antifa Suspects

Toy and game maker Hasbro has announced plans to “refresh” its classic board game “Clue” to include transgender and antifa characters, add new weapons, include new crime locations, and add motives to the committed crimes.

Hasbro spokesperson Joseph “Joe” Doane explained that Hasbro is seeking to “keep up with the times” and have its classic “whodunit” Board game be more reflective of current social norms. “Look, without the trans and Antifa characters to commit the crimes, the game just isn’t believable anymore and doesn’t resonate with our core audience,” explained Doane while pointing out the percentage of crimes committed by the transgender and Antifa communities.

“Additionally, no one is going to believe an older, conservative woman [Mrs. White is going to be capable of murdering with a candlestick in the conservatory,” continued Doane. “But, by making Professor Plum a radical gender studies professor, transforming Miss Scarlett from a ‘Southern Belle’ into an angry and confused transitioning man, and defining Colonel Mustard as an Antifa leader, the game becomes more reflective of our current social structure and far more ‘believable” offered Doane.

In addition to updating the suspect profiles, the new Clue game will feature new weapons, including bricks, Molotov cocktails, and high-powered rifles. It will include motives for the crimes, including fascism, political differences, and failure to adhere to preferred pronouns.

Thoughts on the Charlie Kirk Assassination

I worked on the government side of prosecutions for 27 years. Between 2007 and the present, I’ve taken on defense investigation cases from time to time. Typically, I’m paid what the defense counsel is paid plus expenses. Most of what I’ve taken is very complex, and the client or someone can afford to pay for the work. For the most part, these are money laundering investigations. If they’re OFAC cases, the government limits what I can charge. I don’t work a lot, but I still get calls. I don’t accept every case that is offered. Yes, I do lots of other things. My work in the Middle East has not involved criminal investigations, for example.

Having said that, I worked murder-for-hire investigations/prosecutions for about five years in Southern California. It meant that I did them every day.

On to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. I get e-mails, and I spoke with a blog reader on the phone yesterday. Keep in mind that I examine these cases from both a defense and prosecution perspective. There is a significant amount of speculation on YouTube and TikTok. In all cases, the speculation contradicts the story released by the government. Because it sells clicks. And there is no penalty for releasing bullshit or doctored information.

The bottom line is that both the government and the defense will examine all the evidence collected to determine what happened, so it can be presented to a jury and refuted if that’s how the facts unfold. In the present matter, the alleged shooter’s father was a 27-year Washington County Deputy Sheriff. Do you think that he’d put his son in front of a firing squad if he didn’t believe that his son did it?

I won’t ever see all of the evidence because I don’t have the standing to view it. I won’t read all the investigative reporting, and I won’t view all the electronic evidence. I frankly don’t want to see it or involve myself in this tragedy. It will be presented to a jury, with both the defense and prosecution presenting evidence for and against. That’s how we do it in America. The prosecution has a heavy burden. They must show a group of licensed drivers facts that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the crime charged was committed and that the suspect committed the crime. They’ll show motive and opportunity.

In this particular matter, there are several full-corpus cop-outs made spontaneously to people outside government and to government agents under Miranda, waiving his Fifth Amendment rights. Others made statements as to his expressed intent before the event, including his “furry” tranny boyfriend, who pretends to be an animal as a matter of lifestyle choice.

My recommendation in this case is to let the matter make its way through court. I’m sure that there will be huge scrutiny by the media and interested members of the public of the evidence as it is presented.

Did they get the right guy? I think that they did. Do I trust the government? How long have you been reading this blog?
