Shortly thereafter, on May 19, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a report to member nations stating that, while the “re-emergence of epidemic-prone diseases continues to accelerate,” the WHO’s mandate regarding “health emergencies” must extend beyond pandemics to include hunger, poverty, ecological degradation, climate change, and social and economic inequalities.
The WHO has done such a poor job in the past and shown themselves to be bribable, gullible, shamelessly corrupt, and incompetent, that the thought of giving them any legal or regulatory authority is beyond ridiculous and pushes into the realm of the utterly incomprehensible.

As to that manlet Anthony Bernardi, his mini bio sketch says: “I write about social justice and cooking”. Hahaha! Twit. If Odin recommends an early morning, it has to be somewhat patriarchal since he started the ball rolling – and self-identified as white and male. Nobody actually asked Odin for his pronouns if history is accurate, so I may be wrong.

Bernie and Poke-a-haunt-us keep much of their wealth stashed off-shore. Tedros, a moron of AOC and Hank Johnson proportions seems to care far less about a scandal reaching his corrupt practices.
Though retired I still arise at around 6am, though I may occasionally lay in until 6:30. Originally it was due to work schedule that carried over to days off. I thought I simply enjoyed the early morning, but now thanks to Bernardi I know the real reason.

I used to get up at 5 every morning but, now that I am retired, sleep into 6. That is except when the turkeys wake me up or the rather raucous quail start yelling at 4 AM.
We have turkeys in the forest here too. They round out the beasts and fowls nicely. The taste of wild turkeys is a bit more gamey than the farmed turkeys.

Light Tank/Tank Destroyer – 1 Built 1938?
The Spanish Verdeja 1 was constructed with the PzKW Mk 1 and Russian T-26, itself a knock-off of the British Vickers 6-Ton Tank in mind.
Yeah I forgot to put that the Spaniard Knock off part. ;-)
Ironically, the XB-19 was not only started, but also funded before the XB-29 was even started… Yet it was never actually entered in the bomber competition in 1940.
The B-29 was a remarkable aircraft that had a LOT more going for it than the B-19, obviously. The B-19 was sort of a large B-17. The competition for an American heavy in Europe was between the B-24 and the B-17, each of which had its merits and similar tech. The B-24 was a faster plane having a greater range and payload capacity. However, in the ETO, the B-24 operated with the B-17 which constrained the aircraft’s operating speed. The B17 was a sedate aircraft and placed fewer demands on the flight deck crew. The B-17 was also an easier aircraft to fly in formation.
The PB4Y-1 became the go-to maritime patrol aircraft which led to the development of the PB4Y-2 Privateer, which only RESEMBLED the Liberator.
