Secrets
“Phase 1” of the Epstein Files have been released…or have they? As reporters dig through the files, I have an equally important question: why has it taken so long? Who in the government and FBI decided to seal the list away for YEARS? Also, will the rich and powerful people connected to Jeffrey Epstein, like Bill Gates, and the Clintons face any pressure, or will they continue to influence how the world runs? Will see the videos of the rich and powerful raping children? We need even MORE answers: Why was Benghazi covered up? Who blew up the Nord Stream pipelines? We can’t stop here.
BREAKING: Why has the government been SO suspiciously protective of Jeffrey Epstein? Today, we began to feel duped and then Pam Bondi released a letter saying she felt duped too. Turns out the FBI isn’t following orders. The New York FBI field office is withholding Epstein documents from the AG. Who’s in charge there? No one other than James Dennehy emailed his whole staff to “dig in” after Trump took office. And don’t forget that James Comey’s daughter is an assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, who has worked on the Epstein and Maxwell cases.
Bullet Points:
** Excellence is not an act. It’s a habit. You do not become excellent by wanting it. You become excellent by living it. Every day, every choice, casts a vote for the man or woman you want to be.
** “Admitting that an opponent might be honest and intelligent is intolerable. It is more immediately satisfying to shout that he is a fool, scoundrel, or both than to find out what he is really like.” – George Orwell
** Black Bear Pass – south of Telluride, CO.
** Hollywood bottom-feeder and ample trust fund baby Michael Moore claimed that the illegal aliens being deported might one day have cured cancer or stopped an asteroid headed toward Earth. Why couldn’t they do the same thing in their home (sh*thole country)? How does sponging on the US taxpayer change the metric of their genius?
** “In a dramatic turn of events, the cryptocurrency market has been gripped by a wave of unease, with sentiment crashing to “extreme fear” levels following U.S. President Donald Trump’s unwavering stance on imposing hefty tariffs. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, a barometer of investor mood, nosedived from a neutral 49 to a chilling 25 in just 24 hours, signaling a full-blown panic mode among traders and enthusiasts alike. The catalyst? President Trump’s resolute confirmation of 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico on April 2 if they don’t staunch the flow of illegal drugs passing through their countries into the USA, a policy that’s sending shockwaves not just through traditional markets but deep into the decentralized realm of Web3.”
** Socialist defined: A person who wants everything you have except your job.
** Elsa vs the Post Office. And more here.
** Bernard Cornwell: Seven hundred and fifty British soldiers and three small ships of the Royal Navy were ordered to build a fort above a harbour to create a base from which to control the New England seaboard. Forty-one American ships and over nine hundred men are ordered to expel the British. Listen to an extract from the audio edition of Bernard’s THE FORT at http://bit.ly/37UHdxy about the battle that followed and how warfare can bring out both the best and worst in men.
** WSF – don’t try this at home. It’s the old mayonnaise bird poop trick.
Old Europe’s Dilemma
Wall Street Journal: “Europe will likely have to spend hundreds of billions of euros to prepare to defend itself militarily without U.S. help, and will also have to find ways to do that without spooking bond investors. The scale of Europe’s challenge is enormous. In a paper published by the Brussels-based Bruegel think tank, Alexandr Burilkov, and Guntram B. Wolff estimated that Europe may need to replace the fighting capacity of 300,000 U.S. troops.
In addition to recruiting many more soldiers, they calculate that it would require at least 1,400 tanks, 2,000 infantry vehicles, and 700 artillery pieces. “This is more combat power than currently exists in the combined French, German, Italian, and British land forces,” they wrote. “Rapidly generating such increases requires an extraordinary effort, though experience shows market economies can do it.”
Burilkov and Wolff calculate that it would cost around 250 billion euros ($261.71 billion) annually to raise European defense spending to 3.5% of gross domestic product from around 2% now. Historically, rapid military buildups have been funded initially by an increase in government borrowing and then, after the period of peril has passed, by a rise in taxes to repay those debts. But that additional debt would come hot on the heels of heavy borrowing to negotiate the Covid-19 pandemic and weather a disruption in energy supplies following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Several governments would likely have to slash spending on other programs or raise taxes to free up funds to buy needed military equipment. Doing so would risk losing political support at a time of vulnerability.

Money for Models?
Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy has demanded billions from American taxpayers, raising the specter of gruesome deaths and suffering. But “staff learned that the aid intended to alleviate economic distress in the war-torn nation was spent on such frivolous activities as sending Ukrainian models and designers on junkets to New York City, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and South by Southwest in Austin, Texas,” a memo obtained by The Daily Wire said. Somebody is getting laid behind this op.
Ukrainian recipients of “Competitive Economy Program (CEP)” funds included, the memo said:
• A modern women’s attire company ($150,000)
• A trade mission for a fashion design house ($128,000)
• A photographer for fashion design publications ($126,000)
• A purveyor of contemporary knitwear ($161,000)
• A luxury bridal brand ($84,000)
• Marketplace for designer artisanal pieces inspired by folk crafts ($84,000)
Red China Blues
(Yahoo Finance) Authorities are looking to inject at least 400 billion yuan ($55 billion) of fresh capital into the first batch of Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., Bank of Communications Co., and Postal Savings Bank of China Co., said the people, asking not to be identified discussing private information. The plan, which could be completed as soon as the end of June, is subject to change, and the amount for each bank is still being finalized, said the people.
Without elaborating, China’s banking regulator first flagged its plan to replenish core tier-1 capital at the six top state lenders in September. The Ministry of Finance later said it would issue special sovereign bonds to fund the injections, strengthening banks’ capability to fend off risks and spur lending.
Bloomberg News reported last year that China could inject as much as 1 trillion yuan of capital into its most prominent banks, with funding mainly from issuing new special sovereign debt.

The Associated Press Style Guide
The AP Style Guide sets standard usage rules for writers in many fields and majors. AP loves shaming and coercing undergrads into repeating their preferred terminology, using the threat of a lower GPA to force them into a twisted game of “Stalin Says.” (It’s like “Simon Says,” but with more totalitarian humorlessness.)
The AP guide says that when writing about races of people, you must capitalize the first letter of “Black” but keep the lowercase for “white.” It also decrees that illegal aliens should be called “undocumented,” that mothers be called “birthing persons,” and that gender-denying mutilations be called “gender-affirming care.” Also, according to the AP, we’ve always been at war with Eastasia, and war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength.
Oddly enough, AP has happily accepted various past examples of political name changes, including agreeing to call Mt. McKinley “Denali,” the nation of Turkey “Turkiye,” and Kiev “Kyiv.”
It’s (D) different when President Trump makes the name change. I’m looking forward to seeing how this childish resistance ends. Will the AP stubbornly consign themselves to forever sitting and pouting at the media kiddies’ table rather than submit to the mean orange man the way they force cowed undergrads to submit to them?
Or will they finally surrender? If so, I hope that Trump rubs it in. I picture him standing before a northern hemisphere map with a pointer, tapping one re-named feature after another.
Trump (pointing to the former Greenland): What’s this called?
AP (mumbling): Trumpland.
Trump (tapping Canada): And this?
AP: the 51st state, America’s Evil Top Hat
Trump (tapping the former Denali): And this?
AP: Mt. McKinley
Trump (tapping a spot in South Dakota): And this?
AP: Mount Trumpmore
Trump (tapping the Gulf): And this?
AP (staring at their shoes and muttering): The Gulf of America.
Trump (cupping a hand behind his ear): I can’t hear you.
AP (louder): The Gulf of America!

The Last Day of Black History Month 2025
Black Egyptians, black vikings, black American Indians and black Isaac Newton aren’t black history, it’s hilarious historical revisionism by deeply insecure and ignorant people who think diversity means “everything ever was black”.
Afrocentrism be like: “We wuz everything”
Objecting to this isn’t discrediting black history, nor is presenting the factual reality stealing it; it’s pointing out the fallacious nature of Afrocentrist thinking, which is black = good, everything else and especially white = bad.
Afrocentrists are an amusing combination of the most racist and most stupid people on earth, and the poster child for why literacy and critical thinking are essential.

Was the PL-12 the plane flown by the Gyrocaptain in “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome”? This one looks a lot like it.
Yup.

As otherwise noted below, well done!
Curtiss C-46 Commando with the Caribou, otherwise concur.

Yes, it’s a C-46, otherwise, spot on.
The giveaway on the Commando is the streamlined cockpit and the meeting line where the two tubes of the fuselage meet. As in take two tubes, cut part of the tubes off, stack the two tubes with the open parts together. Used heavily in the China-Burma-India theater as it could fly higher than the Douglas C-47/DC3. Lot of Commando hulls are splashed all over the Himalayas.
I think that guy in the Jeep misunderstood the meaning of “off-roading”.

On another site the question was raised “Why is Pam Bondi appearing in the news EVERY day?” Also, saying she had the stuff to be revealed sitting on her desk; then releasing a big nothing burger? Apparently she, and everyone she worked with, didn’t bother to read the contents. Not a shining example of competence. And if she claims she trusted what they said to her….ORLY??? Makes you wonder what’s going on.
I think that the FBI punked AG Bondi. Now she’s aware of it, it remains to be seen what happens.
Send Bongino to New York….
X2
I have a feeling that he’s there now.
Trusting the FBI at this point looks incredibly naive/gullible. Don’t know if Pam Bondi and crew knew this would happen and set up the FBI, or if the FBI set her up. I guess we’ll see…maybe.
Those of us who have dealt with the FBI were not the least bit surprised.
One can only wonder, at least I do. L.L. is so awesome at ” Trump splaining things”. I’m only comprehending 1/2 of it all. They, them, it, and who WTP really are. Learning something every day here on V.M.!
Fords; My lifetime rig was an 86 3/4 4×4 6.9. Married to that ol Grey mare 27 yrs, almost as long as my bride, 43 and still counting. Had 160k on a rebuild, 2 repaints, and ready for a third due to rust cancer. Then her heart gave out. My goal was a natural burial. ( Allowed in the people’s republic of what was Oregon) My will stated to use a backhoe and put me in her bed and lay us to rest together. Last year our middle son and construction partner and I upgraded to a 92 1 ton with utility bed, with 7.3 idi. My daily driver is an almost jeep. Marshmallow, soccer mom, 2wd Patriot. The only thing jeep about it is the headlights. It’s sufficient for my hand tools and the 2.0 delivers 25 mpg. The real jeep was a 67′ commando with the dauntless 225 v6. Daily driver, falling timber back in the 1990’s.
I was going to say C46 but I see several beat me to it.
Bondi/Patel- Patience is in order….folks are champing at the bit a little too soon. Bottom line for me: Forget the Epstein thing until indictments are involved. Bondi has to get her legs under her in the position, same with Patel. There is clearly interference by ‘some faction’ working to protect certain elites…but in the end I care the victims gain justice for the evil done to them by these scumbags, elite or not, they should be prosecuted.
–
More important than Epstein is the Butler PA assassination attempt on Trump (plus the other one)…someone let/made that happen. Hopefully Patel will get to it and arrest those involved. In the meantime…patience, it’s only been a month and change, nothing is instant despite WTP wanting answers after decades of obvious abuse by our Federal government…in due time.

Bird Poop/Mayo- The same juvenile ‘guy’ doing that C.R.A.P. to his gal drives that Swifty F150, only has those bull balls hanging off the hitch to let people know he’s a tough guy, then goes home to his BudLight and Playstation.

Black Bear Pass is not for the feint of heart…you can’t be taking a selfie while navigating the road. Mr. [dead?] Yardsale Red Heep almost created a mess for Mr Dashcam. “Pay attention, damnit!” (As dad would say). Hence why now in Colorado I am careful of weekend warriors, especially those in their new shiny 4wd.
Butler. I’m not up on SS personnel, but I recall it being said that the “B” team was at Butler.
Now the agent that was on the “B” team is in charge of SS?
Once again, Patel needs to sic Bongino on it, after visiting the NYC offices.
Agreed. PDJT and Team have seen behind the curtain, they are learning but for sure Trump is playing 3…maybe 5…dimensional chess and the Swamp only knows checkers despite thinking they are geniuses. They’ve received their last “king me”. Their ingrained “process is everything” will be their undoing….at least hopefully. Inside of a month the MSM is imploding, so are the Dems…don’t get in the way of your nemesis when they are rolling their new Jeep down the hill because “they know better”.
Apt analogy

Or perhaps one of the aborted millions might have…
Exactly…it was a stupid argument from a slob who managed to play his side of the [lunacy] chasm and make a few million creating factually false movies while Al Gore a friend.
Zinger, Ed!
Mayonnaise bird poop trick: I saw a new one on YouTube recently that was a montage of scenes where a woman dipped the end of a Q-tip in peanut butter. When the boyfriend/hubby/whatever walked in to the room, she acted like she had just gotten it out of her ear. Looked at it curiously and then tasted it. The reactions were hilarious.
That would work too, or in your nose.

You send Federal Marshals to the FBI headquarters with a search warrant, demand the senior official immediately release all information, demand their help and if they disagree, and frog walk them off the premises. Keep on with their subordinates, and if takes sending them all down the road, and the only person that has an idea is a janitor, then help him any way possible. If anything is corrupted, or destroyed by intent, charge those involved with sedition, and freeze their private accounts. Let them use public defenders, just like they did everyone else they’ve persecuted. Keep transferring them all over hell’s half acre to show them how it feels to be lost in the prison system.
+1.

They’re playing polite with the FBI. The FBI doesn’t understand that. Big Jim Comey understood it when he took off as FBI Director and landed as a civilian in the last administration.
how it feels to be lost in the prison system.
Diesel Therapy.
Don’t do this at home? Hadn’t thought of it. Looks interesting. My one Black Bear Pass trip, several years ago, was in a 2wd F-250 flat bed with a load of hay bales. Why escapes me now.
FBI digging in; CIA threatening to sell secrets to our enemies, means we need to bite the bullet now. The FBI has been in the blackmail business since Hoover’s time and those secrets have a shelf life. There is a good chance those secrets have already been sold.
Let us stir the pot, OK? How many of the FBI and CIA are Latter Day Saints? Does distorted religious beliefs, in their minds, override laws? Not just LDS, the FBI, under Hoover, focused on recruiting Protestants such as Assembly of God, etc. What about the apparent bias against Roman Catholics?
Not all FBI, CIA, NSA or three-letter agency people are evil. In fact, the majority are likely “following orders” – which makes then sound like Nazis but that’s not what I’m trying to make them sound like. There is a process of indoctrination that people go through where they begin to believe the dogma of government, us against them, we are the keepers of the sacred flame of the Republic, etc. I went through that myself and I was reprogrammed, but there was a time. You can’t work there unless you believe and there is good cause to believe.
**
The US Military, and you can lump in FBI, mainly – the CIA tends to hire more of a free thinker in Ops, is a cult. They have secrets, they have symbols, you rise in the ranks of the initiated as your clearance level rises. If you find the definition of cult and you plug in what the military is – FBI is worse – it fits hand-in-glove. So those people drank the Kool-Aid because they’re there. If they didn’t drink the Kool-Aid they wouldn’t be allowed in. It’s far more persuasive in its faith.
Could the opera concerning the NY DOJ and FBI be leading to a large reduction in force or closure of the office using failure to produce, false documentation or something along those lines as reasons to burn that institution down?
I think that it needs to be reimagined and re-structured. See my comment above. The problem is that you want true believers in your ranks. People willing to jump on the hand grenade to save Pedo Joe or the Ho just because of their elective office. How to do that, build loyalty and not have it perverted in time from the top? Caesar’s Praetorians were a good example.
in re Old Europe’s Dilemma
will they be replacing the 300k US troops with newly immigrated Muslims?
BTW:
will you be creating a separate page for selling your artwork?
Are you speaking of Jules’ watercolors (her watercolor class began today there in Nottingham)?
your artwork meaning LL’s or isn’t that your artwork at the top of the page?
and yes, i like what Jules does on paper, but I’ve never appreciated pastel watercolors, remembering quite well what we used to do in kindergarten in 1944
My feeble attempts at art aren’t worthy of much, Boron. Thanks for your kind words
nonetheless: for someone who knows nothing about art (with the mild exception of Chikanobu), the graphic lede (not just views of The Donald) has been improving by leaps and bounds recently: don’t believe me, ask someone else’s opinion, someone with a more “artistic” eye.
Wow. Entitled, ungrateful, strutting, coked-up, penis puffing little shit in track suit publicly spanked.

Skyy stepped on his dick live on international TV. I’m sure that Putin is saying, “See, I told you we couldn’t negotiate with that little nightclub tranny.”
😂
Coulda just done the deal and flown back…PDJT was royally peeved…and the Lefty media is going dull scanners because most were never spanked as a naughty kid.
Not to lose sight of the fact:
It was agreed the meeting was about mineral rights (compensation).
Z-skyy was told repeatedly don’t mention security Guarantees.
Z-skyy mentioned security Guarantees.
That was rude. Trump knew it. Vance knew it. It was a major faux-pas.
I was explaining to Scherie:
Z-skyy kept saying that cease-fires were disregarded by Putin.
Trump was saying that was because of Biden/Obama.
Z-skyy was basically saying he couldn’t trust Trump to hold Putin to a cease-fire.
Trump was rightly offended.
I doubt that Skyy will be back to the White House.
Coulda just done the deal and flown back
I know, right? The stupid demographic is infamous for lack of impulse control. But it appears that at least one member of the smartest demographic (yes, smartest — just ask them) has the same problem [1].

That said, although Notorious Z’s behavior and body language were entitled, arrogant, and petulant, at least he comported himself less shamefully than dreadful Keir Starmer. Two Tier’s body language at greeting Trump was obsequious, ill-befitting the leader of a once great nation, and thus shameful. Starmer was infra-beta to the point where I was fearing that he’d turn around, drop trou, and spread his cheeks in submission. Or drop to his knees while sticking out his tongue. Oh. Sorry. That’s what Cocaine Dwarf is rumored to do in his spare time. I appear to be confusing appalling national leaders.

[1] I realize I’m throwing stones from the comfort of my (luxurious and tasteful) glass house. I was in a meeting with a bunch of senior execs from a major medical company earlier this week and made a racist joke. Fortunately it was about Chinese people. You shoulda seen their faces. (Turned out they were good guys.) We shall see if I am ever allowed into one of those meetings again.
Z-skyy (good one Ed) had no clue how to read the room, came completely unprepared to deal with The Big Dog, believing this would be business as usual as it was under the marionette Biden. PDJT reminded me of my dad when a contractor would tell him he’d do something, then not do it, then give excuses. Dad wouldn’t tolerate that and would get the same way Trump did today. Loved it when Z-skyy ran out with his tail between his legs. The adults are running things and the weaklings in the media, that smaller portion of citizenry, and the Dems are all screeching how unpresidential this was…all the while I’m in the shop running circuits cheering him on. As Bongino says “Cutesy time is over”.
By the time Skyy returns home, I’m guessing that the Verkhovna Rada (legislature) deputies will have voted 450 to 0 for impeachment and an arrest warrant. Hopefully the medical execs can take a joke and will react more favorably toward your future.
About racist jokes – saw a Cuban refugee, Hispanic mindset, blacker than most American blacks, start making “racist” jokes and comments about blacks. The reaction by the American blacks was interesting.
Mayo. There is the classic scene where Lou Grant (Ed Asner) is in the hospital in bed. He dumps his apple juice into the sterilized beaker that was supposed to be for a urine sample. Nurse comes in, he holds up the beaker and says, ” Hmm, looks a little cloudy. Let’s run it through again”. And, down the hatch.

Both of our sons were on the receiving end as high school freshmen, and later passed on the tradition. Take a pair of whitey-tighty underwear, heavily color the crotch with brown crayon, then during gym class toss them over the lockers to land among the incoming freshmen. Makes a father proud, it does.
What does the EU need a military for? The Russians?
They just need to look good on parade.
When they spend money on their military, they have less to spend on immigrants.
Or socialism.
