When people ask you what you want for your birthday, this is a possible suggestion. I’m not suggesting that it’s for me. The price and the wristband are enough to discourage me from wanting one. But it’s worth a look.

The Gun Box only opens when the RFID chip in the gun box wristband you’re wearing is present and you press the button. It’s not unlike a fob on a modern automobile where you simply press “start” without turning a key. As far as I can tell, the wristband is likely the biggest downfall of this box. You have to wear it if you want to access your firearm.
Product details from the manufacturer.

  1. HA! Beat them like an unwanted stepchild! Love that line. But what if they shoot you with your own gun!
I was expecting it to be more expensive than that. Go get one.

  2. I'd be happy to work on it. We could do it like a trail surgery where I remove somebody's pace maker with a pocket knife and tinker with the electronics to see if if it will work. If so, I'll stuff it back into the heart. I don't like to over complicate things like that.

  3. Or you could do the recalibration by holding the phone against the skin covering the pacemaker, like my B-I-L does…

  4. Success, have fashioned one of these from an aborted hatchback waffle maker, that will give an electrical repel charge to anyone but the maker…
waffle iron and two small shocks at Good Will $3.50, & no annual renewal fee. No need for tracking system. When was the last time you heard of a stolen waffle maker?
