No, I don’t watch the nauseating show. I don’t care two flicks about them, but do you? And if you do, why do you?
There was a time when I did, but that ship sailed a couple of decades ago.  I’ll be curled up with a good book in front of the fire tonight. I haven’t selected the book yet. Maybe the latest Jim Curtis novel?

  1. I think more acting is done off screen than on.
We should have critical awards for that.
    It affects our lives more.

  2. There was a time when Hollywood cranked out and recognized fine films. I imagine there still are some decent pictures made but they don't seem to get nominated for awards.

  3. yep. doing it then and doing it now. I find it nice and restful to not listen to the pinheads give speeches. when they have films again that have original content instead of remakes of old movies I might go see one again. If they have a remake of gone with the wind, I might take that in. but, only if my personal security is assured and only if i am armed as I see fit.

  4. There's a lot of filth coming out of Hollywood, and they're very proud of it. It's progressive, you see. How far can you debase humanity? The answer is sad because they always strive for a new low.

  5. There are always the Darwin Awards. I find them humorous. There is no award show for them, but there should be. I'd watch it.

  6. They do come out from time to time. I can name a few over the last couple of years, but no, they are never considered for an award.

    Me too.

    Thanks for the post.

  8. Have you read Yuval Noah Harari's Homo Deus?

Oscars isn't my thing either, even though I like good movies.

  9. I'm with WSF.

    No.

But I notices this morning that one actor of color wore a dress to protest against Trump.

Hopefully ze will run in 2020.

  10. I would expect nothing less.

Trump will run, Trump will win, and the actors will still not keep their promise to leave the US forever.
