Meme-of-the-day

The face you make when you realize that you let the narcissistic woman you married turned you into a whining, little bitch and consequently, the laughingstock of the world.

Bullet Points:

** LSP covers the pre-game show from Whitehall. The lancers didn’t have lances and the Royal Horse Artillery had no guns…disappointing.

** Off the grid in Arizona.

** The Equalizer v. Mafia – Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.

** US v. Wagner Group – a documentary video.

** Typical drive-by shooting in LA,  and I’ve seen my share.

** Old Pedo Joe Biden almost held a “major press conference” on Friday. Or rather, he announced one, and it was briefly big news, but as it turned out, it was just dementia talking.

Good thing he didn’t declare war on anyone. How comforting it is that the adults are back in charge, eh?

Identify the Aircraft – be specific if you’re able

SPA-Viberti AS.42 Sahariana with 20mm Solothurn S18-1000 and 12.7 mm HMG.

Frequently used as a fast attack vehicle in North Africa.

Sumida M.2593 armored car in China, late 1937-early 1938.

    1. Surly, that is Little Sherry, 441st Bombardment Squadron, 320th Bombardment Wing. When the B-52 came out in strength, the 441st Bombardment Squadron and 320th Bombardment Wing were paired again until the unit closed in 1989. That was when the USAF kept bits of Air Force history together.

When I flew out of Mather; the B-26s were part of the unit history.

  1. B-26S, Eighth Air Force, 42nd Bomber Wing, returning from a mission over France.

  2. Neat thing about the Simuda is the wheelbase also matched the Chinese railroad gauge. So they were able to travel on rails and protect valuable trains.

  3. Briben’s addled brain antics are again being glossed over by those who don’t want the truth to be told. Just wait, Ol Joe will win 2024 by hiding out in Delaware with 172million votes.

MrsPaulM announced yesterday “There’s a new Equalizer coming out in September!” (Yeah, married up.) We like this character, as played by Denzel. The efficient manner in which he metes out justice to the bad guys and evil-doers, plus the tradecraft, is very satisfying. Need some of that in..ahem…certain people who believe they are above the law and doing dmage to our country. (Btw, the Prime version with Queen Latifa…nothing against her, we like her in movies and she is talented…but, no, doesn’t scan.)

Coronation- Doesn’t interest me, especially with these two…lost it’s luster. Besides, I live in The Colonies.

    1. Because you’re a mere colonial, you should stand in awe of the pomp and circumstance.

      1. I actually do appreciate the tradition…just not these two, especially after the stalwart and poised elegance of Queen Elizabeth II.

  4. Royalty the upper crust a bunch of crumbs held together by their dough

  5. Having no interest in royalty, any nation, I do admire the way the Brit’s can put on a show.

I like watching marches on YouTube and the exaggerated stepping. One contrast was the straight up US leg infantry marching in the 2009 May Victory parade in Red Square. All the other countries were putting on flash and dash. Our 11Bs marched in a workman like fashion like they were on their way to kick ass.

  6. I’ve been accused from time to time of not knowing the King’s English. Wrong! I even know that the Queen is English, too.

  7. Thanks for the tip.

Did you notice Harry’s pathetic and rubbish shirt. Perhaps not, look again. A deliberate affront to the majesty of the event.

What a two bit t*rd. I won’t comment on Justsin and the bishop figure of London.

  8. Mickey was a serious operator , but a question for those who know. The white MacCall was a little more believable in the moves he used. He usually outsmarted his foes and Mickey handled the wet work . The Denzel McCall is more a John Wick character . Are their real human beings who operate at that level. ?
