To my pro-Israeli and Jewish friends, I wish you all a happy new year:

אנו מאחלים לכולכם שנה של ניצחון ונקמה באויבנו, שנה של התיישבות שגשוג ופריחה בכל מרחבי ארצנו הקדושה, שנה שבה נחזור אל עצמנו כיחידים, כעם וכמדינה, שנה של שלום אמת, שנה של בנין המקדש ותיקון עולם במלכות ש-די.

שנה טובה!

I do understand that there are people out there who don’t have the same wishes toward those in Israel. The American Government under Barack Hussein Obama Jr. has repeatedly sought to undermine the State of Israel and its security interests despite the fact that it’s the only reliable American Ally in the region. That may be because Obama is the first post-American President…or maybe it’s a coincidence.
I’m not Israeli, nor am I a Jew. I understand that there have been times where Israeli interests have sharply diverged from American Interests (sinking of the USS Liberty among them). That notwithstanding, I believe that America is best served by supporting our allies as best we can. And by keeping in mind who our allies are and who aren’t our friends.
Here is a regional guide for your reference:

  1. LOL! I love the regional guide. I can only read the bottom two words in hebrew. They say Shana Tova, which means good year (year good to be precise).

  2. Opus #6 – I believe it means, "We wish everyone a year of victory and vengeance over our enemies; a year of settlement, prosperity, and growth throughout our holy Land; a year in which we will return to ourselves as individuals, as a nation, and as a state; a year of true peace; a year in which we will build the Temple and perfect the world in the kingdom of the Almighty." –But I'm no Hebrew scholar.
