The Metropolitan Police have blocked a “Walk With Jesus” march planned for Whitechapel today, arguing it could inflame tensions in an area with a large Muslim population.
Although organisers described the event as a peaceful Christian act of worship, police said allowing it to proceed there would risk public disorder and potential violence.
The decision has fuelled criticism over free expression, with opponents claiming police are prioritising community sensitivities over equal treatment under the law.
The same area has seen open Muslim worship in the streets in recent months. (left)

Trump in Davos – excellent points! What irritates me is Europe wants to be America’s trophy wife; being admired, cosseted, and sought after while assuming no responsibility for their own defense. So President Trump had the temerity to point out the obvious without couching it in “polite” terms? Goodness gracious! Better clutch your pearls harder because that’s how Trump rolls.
Memo to Europe: we don’t negotiate with a bunch of influencer-wannabes. Stop looking down your collective noses, accept the hard truths you are being told, start taking care of business and strengthen your defenses or suffer the consequences of cultural extinction.

What, when our President says the ‘unsayable’s’ out loud and you people go apoplectic because ‘we have to be polite’? Politeness (and criminal grift) has what’s gotten Europe, and portions of America for that matter, into this mess of upheaval at all levels of society. (Eg. SCOTUS “deciding” whether boys should be allowed in girls sports/locker rooms…beyond stupid).
Wanna tell ‘em to get a grip and buck up for once in their weasely polite’ lives. Recall meeting with our county commissioner, Ms. ‘I’m All That’ who injected herself into our deal. She agreed to discuss our project, which was being thwarted by the state DOT for reasons only known to them, likely because I wasn’t paying them off or taking them to lunches…or some such mafia-grade nonsense.
She proudly says, “I meet with CDOT each week, have a meeting scheduled for Wednesday.”
Me: “Great, can you speak with them about why they are stonewalling our project and dismissing the professional traffic study they requested that proves our position?” (I wrongfully assumed that was her job, to represent her constituents)

After voting down sales tax over 7 times, our betters in Salem decided “for the sake of the children” ( like lotto promo’s) the deplorable’s need to be paying more to corps and they’ll hand it over to us. Since passing in 2019, even a family owned restaurant, a proprietary doctors office, ect are all paying in and marking up consumer prices to compensate. Wholesale and wages paid exemptions, just for the remaining head office in Grants Pass, I’m not sure about, but could have factored into the move for the Dutch. They are not retreating but growing. They recently acquired Clutch Coffee’s in the Carolina’s. Perhaps AZ will enjoy more windmills? For now, where ever the horde or the zombies have not overwhelmed they will remain open in OR.

The drive up coffee market in TDPROWWO ( The democratic peoples republic of what was Oregon) is very, very competitive. My respects to Dutch bro for their training. Very consistent high five vibe for customer service. They’ve earned their market also by pioneering staff to walk out to take orders when lines are long. While the White house was working on operation warp speed, the dutch did drive away some stubborn ole men by refusing to take cash. F-35. Our youngest son works for Lockheed/Martin in Ft. Worth on the logistics/supply side of the F-35 production line. On family day last year, we got to walk down the line on the factory floor. Most impressive. It’s easy to find on Google Earth. Just look for the large air field on the west side of Ft. Worth. They share the airfield with the NAS across the runway. To get a feel for the scale, zoom in until you can see individual vehicles in the parking lot.
At various points in my ongoing career I got to visit the Ft. Worth plant and surrounds. There’s lots of buildings there and some impressive work being done. The production line building is visually and technically very impressive. To think that every evening, every airframe on the production line is picked up and moved to the next production station?
And there are production facilities in foreign countries making components and doing Final Assembly and Check-Out (FACO) for the airframe.

Forgot to add, there are two production lines, right and left side, with an aisle about 50 ft. wide running down the center.
There was only one line when I used to visit. However, I was more often in labs on the site, various buildings.
