Eat more Chicken (Chick-fil-A)

Blog Post
(Reuters) – Gay rights activists and backers of same-sex marriage plan to hold a nationwide “kiss-in” at Chick-fil-A restaurants on Friday to protest the fast-food chain president’s opposition to homosexual unions.
I plan to go and buy food to support Chick-fil-A today in support of their opposition to homosexual unions.
In fairness to the homosexual lobby, I never ate there often until the homosexuals decided to attack it and make it one of those poster-children for their angst. Now, it’s what’s for lunch…
Children like Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A’s first “crime against the homosexual lobby” was that one of its independent outlets  provided free sandwiches and brownies to a Pennsylvania Family Institute (anti-abortion pro heterosexual marriage) meeting. (

Oh, the horror.

“We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit,” Dan Cathy, Truett’s son, said in an interview last month. “We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”

  1. I plan on supporting homosexual rights by going out and buying more closets.

  2. I've never eaten there but I admit I'm try-curious. There's one in Carlsbad according to wiki.

  3. I took some TFOs (the ones who showed up on Federal Friday) to lunch, the place was packed again…I outed a couple of the guys at the counter, the employee got it – my co-workers did not. Not that there's anything wrong with that…

  4. They always have an option of voting with their wallets and their feet, but what I'm seeing is that they are losing the battle with Chick-fil-A

  5. There are a lot of people who are not dazzled by the homosexual lobby putting pressure on a business simply because they are not in favor of homosexual marriage. It's nothing on the service offered or the business itself. That coupled with the fact that some cities are trying to put the franchise out of business simply because the owner has an opinion is odious.

  6. The food is so-so, but the cause has brought them record sales. And that's ironic because it's precisely what the homosexual lobby didn't want to see happen.

There's also a flip side. If mayors are so easily swayed by political pressure pro-homosexual, what would happen if it was anti-homosexual pressure? The point is that pressure groups need to be careful what they wish for.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

  7. The Democrat policy of "If you disagree with me you are evil," is becoming more odious daily.
