A dear friend of mine, compadre from the Old Days, passed away today. There’s not much I can offer by way of final comment except to suggest that his life, well lived, is his benediction.
I am so sorry for your loss. Condolences to his family and friends.
Condolences and thoughts and prayers for the family.
You hate to see a good man go. May his influence never fade.
We're best judged by what we leave behind – those lives touched, the things cherished and the improvements we make to an imperfect world. On that basis, John's life made a difference and made things and people better.
"On that basis, John's life made a difference and made things and people better."
This is a great epitaph. May we all deserve such praise when we cross into the Unknown Country.
