On Tuesday, Poland’s Committee on Standardisation of Geographical Names Outside the Republic of Poland said it was recommending that the city of Kaliningrad on the Baltic Sea coast be known in Poland as Królewiec and the exclave’s wider area as Obwód Królewiecki.
Russia said the decision was “bordering on madness” and “a hostile act”.
The fear and respect that Russia once enjoyed have been diminished during the Ukraine War as NATO expands.

As a singer, I sing at many funerals and I was recently asked by a funeral director to sing at a graveside service for a homeless vet.
