I have no problem with simply banning Muslims from staff medical positions if they are unwilling to adhere to basic hygiene rules. Apparently the British National Health Service, the UK’s version of ObamaCare for the masses, disagrees with me (and anyone with a brain).
British nurse wants to remain in burka.
The British National Health Service has had a problem with serious infections contracted in hospitals. It’s a problem with worldwide scope. As a result, they instituted strict hygiene regulations to stop the spread of superbugs.
(Telegraph) Female staff who follow the Islamic faith will be allowed to cover their arms to preserve their modesty despite earlier guidance that all staff should be “bare below the elbow”.
The Department of Health has also relaxed rules prohibiting jewellery so that Sikh members of staff can wear bangles linked with their faith, providing they are pushed up the arm while the medic treats a patient.

My personal faith-based beliefs require me to be armed all of the time (in case faith in my fellow man fails). I have a feeling that walking into the UK with a .45 strapped to my hip would not be met with tolerance. But since Muslims in England use beheading axes as a component of honor killings (at home) and jihad (in the community), at least the country would seem to be axe friendly.
