Caption: As near as I can tell, no. Ok, it’s a Sunday, which means there’s the possibility of a sermonette, so maybe? Oh (graphic header), and it’s Storm Trooper Appreciation Day. In the header, an injured child clings to a stormtrooper while under fire from the evil rebel alliance.
Bullet Points:
** What causes the collapse of a quantum wave function from a superposition of states into a single state during measurement? If you can get your head around that and write the formula to explain it, there’s a Nobel Prize in your future.
** In the ER with Mike_C
** Ride the way-back machine with me. One of my favorite things about living in Edinburgh, Scotland, was that a pipe band would appear at random places and times (generally in Leith or downtown), marching from here to there.
** EdB in couples therapy. Yes, it’s supposed to be confidential (no videos), but these things leak occasionally. Virtual Mirage is here to report.
** This is to my British readers – Your memes are being fact-checked by people who believe that men can bear young and breastfeed.
** “Democrats on the Bucks County Board of Commissioners voted to illegally count misdated and undated ballots in an attempt to swing Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate election in favor of ousted Democrat incumbent Sen. Bob Casey, D-Penn.
** Roasting – the clip speaks for itself.
** My piano teacher was over sixty, had an ample build, and was mean. If this piano teacher taught the teenage LL, my life would have taken a different path. I could have been a harmonica teacher if I’d pursued a musical career. Maybe I’d have landed my own talk show?

They didn’t get a homosexual negro female to play him – oh, the outrage! I thought Jesse Smolette (sort of a woman) could have played Pres. Trump in the made-for-TV documentary.

At the FBI
(National Pulse) Reports indicate significant upheaval within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) following Donald J. Trump’s 2024 presidential election victory. George Hill, a former FBI whistleblower, claims that numerous senior executives are hastily seeking retirement. Trump’s decisive win, securing all swing states and winning the popular vote against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, has reportedly left personnel at the FBI “stunned” and “shell-shocked.”
Sources state that FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Director Paul Abbate might depart the agency before Trump’s inauguration. Employees recall the firing of former Director James Comey during Trump’s first term and suggest that Wray may not want to face a similar fate.
Concerns extend beyond the agency’s top ranks. Employees fear job security issues and expect a surge in the private security job market in Washington, D.C. The sentiment is that Trump might implement extensive personnel changes once in office, leaving few positions safe for those at a GS-14 level or higher. Others at the FBI fear what may become public if Trump allows billionaire Elon Musk to look at efficiency standards at the bureau. “When he tries to do efficiency at headquarters, the place is going to have five people… if he’s talking about a lot of dead weight,” one source said.
“Try to find a person that’s working,” they continued, adding: “That may be the biggest problem there—that there’s no efficiency. So that’s the bigger threat.”
The atmosphere at the FBI is currently described as “frazzled.” Hill mentioned that at least 50 Senior Executive Service members are contemplating immediate retirement. They want to sell their homes before housing prices tumble. President Trump suggested the firing of 50,000 appointed positions across DC on January 20. The Senior Executive Service and the Senior Intelligence Service all fit into that category.
Obama and Russiagate
“One of the least known aspects of the Russiagate affair is the central role that Barack Obama played in it.
For years, the focus has been on individuals such as James Comey, Peter Strzok, the infamous dossier author Christopher Steele, and, of course, Hillary Clinton.
And those names are indeed central to the plot, with Clinton being the one who devised the nefarious scheme to portray her opponent as a Russian agent.
However, someone was in the background, pulling many strings, who was even more crucial to the scheme: the then-sitting president, Barack Obama. (more at the article, part one in a series)

Oh those Europeans
FRANKFURT, Nov 14 (Reuters) – Elon Musk’s hugely successful rockets-to-satellites SpaceX venture would raise anti-trust concerns if it had to operate in Europe, the head of aerospace group Airbus said on Thursday.
SpaceX’s insurgent Falcon 9 rocket has slashed launch costs by introducing reusable rocketry into the commercial industry. This has enabled the deployment of the company’s fast-growing Starlink constellation, which now has nearly 7,000 satellites in orbit.
I was on a Zoom call with people who included a woke European from Brussels this past week. After the call, a Greek guy asked me why I hadn’t contributed that much to the call. I said that I would have loved to have pulled the man I referred to later as Eurotrash through the computer link, ripped his arm off, and beat him to death with it. I honestly don’t care what the EU types think. I didn’t care what the Eurotrash person thought as he lectured for half an hour. I don’t have to see them in person, and I can mute the call and play a video game while appearing to be paying attention.
Eurotrash did ask what Mr. Lambert (pronounced the French way) thought since I didn’t say anything. I was too busy laying waste to Brussels with nuclear weapons in the video game to contribute.
From the Jerusalem Post (h/t Claudio)
Lebanese media site LBCI reported on Friday that an Iranian delegation was refused access to Lebanon after officials accompanying Khamenei advisor Ali Larijani refused to be searched by the airport’s security team.
The delegation claimed that diplomats should enjoy immunity and do not need to be searched.
Following the delegation’s refusal to comply, airport security official Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury closed all access to the VIP lounge – preventing the delegation from entering the country.
Yes, Claudio, times are changing.

The Tyson-Paul Fight
Last Friday – Yes, it was the con of the century. Jeff Paul, a marketing genius, pulled down $40 million, and Iron Mike Tyson received $20 million, with Netflix overwhelmed by viewers. Two-minute rounds allowed 58-year-old Mike Tyson to catch his breath, and boxing gloves as big as pillows so nobody would get hurt. I don’t know how much the total worldwide bet was on the fight. A lot.

Here is the kinder and gentler Mike Tyson. If Tyson is careful, the after-tax profit will see him through his dotage to the six-foot drop and mouth full of dirt. Maybe he’s learned his lesson about cocaine and whores?

I imagine you used Nukemap to take out Brussels. I find myself tempted to do the same with other locations.
There is a certain satisfaction that comes with simulated nuking at times.
Whenever I’m on a teams meeting with a group of people, I imagine most of them, while on mute, are not paying a lick of attention to what’s being said.
I pay attention because I know that if I’ve been invited, somebody’s going to ask me something.
I put myself on mute (so they can’t hear the nukes go off) but I listen to them — not always reluctantly. Most conference calls I’m on are useful. In this case, it was useful after a fashion. Eurotrash kept on and on and on. He could have said in four minutes what he said in forty.
I guess I’m lucky. When I’m on a Teams (or equivalent) call at work, nobody sees me (no cameras in the building) and nobody hears me unless I’m pulling the PTT trigger on the STE phone handset (no open microphones). However, NMCI blocks online games. Give and take, my work is to support a much bigger and more realistic game with professional players.
That means that I have to pay attention when I’m on a call, but I can only be on a call when I’m not supporting students and trainers on my system (talking out loud, not to be heard by others).
Overall, I get to choose the calls I participate in…
I’m apparently lucky in Luddite land, don’t do Teams (et al)…well, except for twice…brother’s house design “conference calls”…had to un-mute and take the black tape off the camera.
Ps- “Lambert pronounced the French way”, ‘Lum-Bear’ [besides you maybe not knowing he was calling on you being ‘Merican and all]…could add a certain international panache to your already larger than life persona.
Name pronunciation – heard a foreign language instructor saying something about President “Boo-ku-nun”. Took me a second to translate that to Buchanan.
Don Wick- Hitting the track running with a full blown Op Plan to excise the Demented and Degenerate DC Cancer…and We The People and the World collectively exhaled a sigh of relief…It’ll be a long overdue ‘big yuge best ever beautiful reset’ the likes America hasn’t seen since The Colonists told the British Monarchy to go pound sand. Can’t wait to see all the rats and cockroaches run for the dark corners. SISU MAGA meets Time For A Reset!

I was curious how Tyson at 58 would have had enough wind…clearly the man is a bull. But now I know. See, VM is clearly an educational resource for us seasoned males.
***
Bucks County…grew up there, 24 years in ‘Washington Crossed the Delaware’ territory now overrun by a bunch of Democrat infiltrator locusts from NE Philly and NYC. It’s iconic farming and Colonial history, and tradition, so of course ‘those who believe they are our betters’ decide to move there, jacking up prices and regulation and changing the landscape, ruining the place. (Still great if you know where to go, and rural Upper Bucks is..well…rural). For that clownish woman to say such a thing is one root of the problem needing some serious weed killer, except those voting for her need a stint on a local legacy dairy farm cleaning the pen, for a month.
***
4&5- Neither…but if no other choice, then blonde. But geez, both need to eat a burger and fries (or onion rings as our host prefers).
***
Thunderstruck on piano by Zhanna in patent leather and stiletto knee highs…well, she can certainly play, even in the outfit. However, as an 8 year old I’d be walking around Junior High with a ‘Zhanna is my Piano Teacher’ t-shirt. Total bragging rights.
Neither four nor five look happy.
That’s a disqualifier right there.
They’re only happy because you and PaulM aren’t there, Ed.
Think you really meant they were “unhappy” we weren’t there…pretty sure…maybe.
—
Incidentally…it’s “Jussie’, not Jesse…which we would pronounce ‘Juss-ee’ but the insider woke crowd apparently pronounces it Juice-ee. I’ll stick with Paul, zero social ambiguational intersectional consternation.
>both need to eat a burger and fries
Swedish Girl practically lived off of McDonald’s (QP with cheese, medium fries, Diet Coke) and her BMI was 17.6 kg/m2. PKG loves barbecue. I’ve seen her eat a literal pound of brisket and sirloin and tri-tip, plus trimmings, then look for dessert. Her BMI is 19.4. (Clearly my trend is that they are getting fatter 😃). It’s genetics and metabolism. Also, being an AI helps #4 and 5. Incidentally, neither is using a proper wineglass (“stem” for the pretentious — I know the terminology 🙄).

It’s Juss-ee to his family and other such types. Juicy is Dave Chapelle and others mocking that poor dually-oppressed gay man. Shame, David. Shame!
>>Diane Ellis-Marseglia, one of the Democrats, admitted she knew it was against the law but voted to count the ballots anyway. “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country.”<<
Does this mean the that Pennsylvania is now a lawless land?
~~~
Thinking about Elon Musk looking at the efficiency at the FBI… the FBI were willing to work against the President of the United States, I'd think Musk needs some extra security for this job!
FBI does stand for Famous But Incompetent. They were able to lure Randy Weaver out of his home to take the shot. In the standoff, FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot Weaver, then shot Harris, but the second shot also hit and killed Weaver’s wife Vicki and their unborn child. Weaver was in possession of a sawed off shotgun – ample reason to take the shot. Then the FBI denied it and transferred Horiuchi as part of the cover-up.
“Does this mean the that Pennsylvania is now a lawless land?”
Means 2A back in force
Are Dems saying that lawless means open season, no bag limit?
November 17 not being special? What!
Well… the Suez Canal was inaugurated. Plus who can forget… the Raiders game was interrupted to watch Heidi on tv… and lastly… Nixon went on tv and said “I’m not a crook”.
Both young ladies are fine. But the dark one IS wearing gloves…
Do you favor women wearing opera gloves, Al? (note in a future story, include a woman wearing opera gloves for Al)
Opera gloves … see Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn…
She’s dead, more’s the pity, but I would have loved to see Audrey Hepburn eat a whole rack of wet ribs wearing opera gloves – you can call it a fetish if you’d like.
I prefer fingernails over gloves. Well manicured and clean.
Ah, yes. The good old days on a busy ER shift.
I thought that it might strike a cord.
I thought it was a good view into the Mike_C world of rotating through ER triage with cool efficiency coupled to [clearly] exceptionally high expertise while showing his resident coworkers ‘how it’s done’…without any smugness of course. As for me, I’d fly (yup, would actually fly) across country to have him clip/clean/install a band-aid over some ranch injury…be done in short order and for the low low price of $82k…plus materials. Competence matters.
Just a typical Friday or Saturday night at a local hospital I was encumbered too in your favorite spot, PDX… Mike_CC
“Concerns extend beyond the agency’s top ranks. Employees fear job security issues and expect a surge in the private security job market in Washington, D.C”
Would losing their security clearances affect their future employment?
I’m sure they’ll be pulled.
Tyson vs. Paul. Our daughter was one of the Arlington P.D. officers hired to work the event and so make some side money, so there is that for us. The look on the face of the guy in the blue shirt pretty much says it all.
Light or dark. The one who smiles and whose eyes look at me like no other.
Good [latter] point, or as WSF said the other day, “find one with a good heart”, which translates to “the look of appreciation” you suggest.
Agreed. I would have said I’d pick the one that likes me. If being ignored by a gal was of any interest to me I could always go to a store holding a special sales event…
> whose eyes look at me like no other.
Find yourself a girl who looks at you the way she looks at a rack of ribs slathered in barbeque sauce. Uh … no, wait.
In PDX at some neighborhood ramen joint. The army surplus store (where I got my little EDC pocket knife, on me right now) just down the street is gone. Dunno when it folded. Tents all over the place, including along I-5. Lots of people dressed outdoorsy in Goretex, but have spotted several (in the space of 20 min) clearly dopesick.
Was in Kent, WA (yeah, I know) last night. Stopped at some big warehouse-style chain grocery store. I think I was the only person there for whom English is my first language. Spotted some, er, fascinating physiognomy too, including a male who probably has orangutan genetics (the big neck pouch, complete with a tuft-beard growing in a patch out of the pouch). The last time I saw someone like that was at the customs desk at Kota Kinabalu airport. (It’s not just me being mean or an anti-simianite; my girlfriend was the one who speculated about Grandpa Orang.) I don’t see a way out of this demographic nightmare. That doesn’t violate multiple international conventions at least. To make it even worse, at least 50% of the white males present as swishy (not homosexual I don’t think, just what used to be called swishy with the creepy body language and lispy, uptalking speech patterns) and/or ineffectual. (I realize this is likely a local-sampling problem, but still….)
It’s all so depressing.
It’s the legacy of all three terms of Obamanation.
Yup. It’s Sunday morning and I was bored.
Many moons ago, we were in Edinburg for some meetings and staying at the Novotel downtown. Up early, went out wandering looking for breakfast and heard the pipes. Found them marching down the main street, and I will say it was impressive! Re the Martin SeaMaster, it was simply too much of a reach from the P5M. There were some ‘interesting’ options, but safety was the overriding issue, due to the inherent instability of the aircraft and lack of search/ASW capability. And the P-2V5 was already coming on line, with a search, ASW, and mining capability, plus dwell time onstation.
I wonder what George Soros and Claus Schwab have to say after the election and what they are up to?
1. I prefer the light version
2. Obama and Russiagate
no matter how I try, all I can see is a black Charlie McCarthy sitting on an Edgar Bergen’s lap (whose face I’m not quite able to discern, but looks very much like a fat Hungarian born Jewish).
I find it exceptionally difficult to believe the puppet has the brains/intelligence.
3. “collapse of a quantum wave function…” – wouldn’t say I have the slightest idea, but…
wouldn’t Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle apply in this type of situation
sorta reminds me of the Chesire Cat, then again wasn’t Lewis Carroll/Charles Dodgson a mathematician
Ill take the brunette every time but i would love to ask the blonde why she missing the end of three of her fingers on her right hand? Farm equipment accident maybe?😬
She has fingers?
The purple headed yogurt slinger isn’t concerned about her fingers.
Obviously, she’s a tool and die maker.
“What causes the collapse of a quantum wave function from a superposition of states into a single state during measurement? If you can get your head around that and write the formula to explain it, there’s a Nobel Prize in your future.”
Or perhaps finding the true meaning of God
(but no measurement can be made without upsetting the system being measured. Insignificantly so in most cases but not all)
