#4 on Amazon’s Best Seller List

John C: LL, I thought you might enjoy reading some of these articles. I seems that over 50,000 years ago humans were inbreeding with Neanderthals. What is significant about those couplings, though, is the creation of today’s Democrats.
I wonder if he’s still ‘with’ the Energizer Bunny and if Hillary is still ‘with’ Huma Weiner? I haven’t heard much about those relationships post-election (where Hillary snatched defeat from the jaws of victory).

Mark: What’s going on with the White Wolf Mine project?
LL: Excavation has been pushed back two weeks, not by any choice of mine. The longer the builder takes, the longer I’m living in a rental in the Phoenix Valley. I’d live closer but my daughter needs a place to live while she finds work and gets established. Latest word is that I’ll have my two youngest moving into the valley rental…
The good news is that business is booming and I expect that I will be able to flesh things out more fully than I planned to at first. The details of that expansion won’t be of the hovel itself (plans finished), but of a guest shack that I may have built. I plan to get up to the mine in the next two weeks if my schedule will allow. I don’t have much wiggle room at the moment.
I need to walk the land and kick rocks to think properly. I’m looking forward to the day when I don’t have the i-phone surgically attached to me. There is cell service up in the area now. I don’t know why somebody erected a tower and screwed it up. However most of the region requires a satellite phone, and I don’t plan to give that number out.

Anonymous: What new toys will we expect to see at the WWM?
LL: Let’s face it, the WWM will be a bit like Camp Snoopy. I have 8 grandchildren who are in need of being spoiled (further).
A new enclosed custom motorcycle trailer is being constructed and should be here this month. I have the front tire stands/locks here, ready to install after I take delivery of the trailer. The concept is to trail both the Ducati Diavel and a dirt bike, yet to be purchased. Or quads, or a combination depending on the run.
There will also be a new and improved custom made carbon fiber canoe arriving at the end of the month or early in April. Even with the textreme carbon fiber lay up and an extra layer of kevlar on the keel, it still won’t weigh over 35 lbs (18′).
I plan to drive the Ducati to different locations, pull it out of the trailer and ride it, then put it back in the trailer. Part of that is a function of age and part of it is a function of general comfort on a trip. When I was young, I’d ride the bike to the destination and camp out. Now it’s more likely that the bike will be for day-trips and it will be safely locked up at night while I’m staying at a hotel. Jeer if you must. I like a hot shower and a clean bed. It doesn’t mean that I won’t ever camp out, but on a longer trip with many side trips on the bike the idea of a hot shower appeals.
Logan (movie review)
It’s difficult to review the movie in any depth without lacing it with spoilers and I don’t want to do that. Cutting to the chase, I think that critics WAY over-rated the film. I give it 5.5 out of a possible 10.
It’s a long movie and I found myself looking at my watch, which means that it didn’t hold me. I like the X-Men series, but this one disappointed me.
It was a typical Hollywood film with pandering to politics, racial balance, etc. They made it obvious and that too, was a turn off. If I had it to do over again, I’d wait until it came out on TV, so that I could tinker with my i-pad, blog, etc. while the movie was playing.
To update an old joke, roughing it is a motel without a flat screen TV.
That John C had a brilliant deduction about the birth of Democrats. He is a genius. As for Hillary, I think she is lying low, conspiring secretly with Obama to overthrow the gubmet and insert Socialism or even Communism – with him being the Tsar. I envy you the WWM projects, too. That can only be a wish for me. And, I know I am too old for a two wheel bike (reflexes need are just not there anymore) but I am still toying with the idea of a trike to ride with the Patriot Guard in the area.
Looking forward to the WWM. And what a good idea for a donkey party book.
I'm at that time of life where that's truer than I want to believe. I do like camping out, but setting up and taking down camp, cooking, and all of the accompanying work…make it less fun.
A trike would work for you!
Yes, John C is a genius. Forumlating that nexus between Neanderthals and Democrats may end up earning him a Nobel Prize. Then again, after Barry received his, there isn't much luster in them.
I have to keep my eye on the prize with the WWM. There are a lot of moving parts between here and there. I have to take the process in terms of increment instead of the whole finished project or my obsessive nature will drive me insane(r).
Since President Trump was elected, work has been crazy, which is a good thing but it makes time management more challenging.
It's all go your end, Larry!
I won't bother going to see Logan at the cinema now. Shame as the trailer looked good. On a separate note, have you watched Sneaky Pete on Amazon?
I'll check out Sneaky Pete when I get back to the states. I can't stream Amazon from Mexico for some reason. I may need a Mexican Amazon Acct.
Hah. Globalism for thee, but not for me.
xoxo Jeff B.
Please add side by sides to your toy chest…quads are so very passe.;)
I don't think that the trailer is tall enough for a razor. I'd need to buy a flatbed…but if I'm going to do that, I'll go full rock-buggy. Great idea, Sal!!
100% of my consulting business is outside of the US.
The PC content of a possible good movie is the biggest turn off IMHO. I puts my money down and I buys my ticket for one thing and one thing only: Entertain me, don't preach to me.
Hollywood loves to preach. Look at the Oscars and every other award program. We need to move them to live like the locals for a year in their chosen hell-hole. They need some humility. And moreover, they'll come to know why we're building a wall to keep the barbarians out.
The WWM will be a great place for you & the crew. I know you work & have worked hard for this, so hears to wonderful adventures ahead!
At present, I simply have to take it one day at a time. Still a journey to get there.
I bet he feels more honor in his Challenge Coins than the Nobel Coin.
I think that you have better insight into what he does and does not value, but when you consider that Barack, the pederast Desmund TuTu and Yasir Arafat received Nobel awards — I don't think that there is any honor in them.
