** Mavs sign Dink – DALLAS, TX — As proof he was willing to back up his strong words in support of DEI practices in business, Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban announced the team had signed actor Peter Dinklage as its new power forward.

This addition, Cuban said, makes good on his promise to ensure all of his businesses adhere to policies to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dinklage was expected to join the team in time to suit up and take the court against the Portland Trail Blazers.

“This is a giant leap for DEI in our organization,” Cuban said when announcing the signing. “Achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion in professional athletics is a tall order. Most professional sports teams talk about a big game but come up short. Signing Peter to play power forward is no small feat. Though some fans may have low expectations for Peter on the court, we ask them to have a little faith.”

** I watch CNN and MSDNC most mornings to see what the bastards are up to. I rewind their shows and fast forward, looking at the Chyrons to their stories, even though I don’t hate myself enough actually to sit through that bullshit.

As of this morning, neither network has discovered that the SecDef was AWOL, and POTUS has no clue. We’ve been attached a dozen times in Iraq and Syria during Austin’s disappearance. There is ZERO reporting on it anywhere but Fox.

I am pretty sure you could find out what color underwear the Judge, in whichever Trump case they are giving wall-to-wall coverage, is wearing, but to be fair, that didn’t make the Chyron.

** At a time when “Bidenomics” has become President Joe Biden’s shorthand for the economic growth he says he has achieved, Fox Business said the numbers indicate “the job market is not as healthy as the government suggests.”

** “Only about 150,000 households in California, a state of forty million people, now pay nearly half the total annual state income tax. Forty percent of state residents pay zero state income tax. This asymmetry results from millions of upper-middle-class professionals leaving the state, huge influxes of poor immigrants, and the multi-millionaire class finding creative ways to not define the enormous returns of their investments as highly taxed annual income.” Victor Davis Hanson, author, Hoover Institute

How long do you think it will be before the Federal Government has to bail out California, now offering free healthcare to illegal aliens and running a $69 billion deficit in violation of the State Constitution?

2020 Elections in Arizona

That which was originally void does not by lapse of time become valid.

  • Arizona was called by a margin of 10,457 votes.
  • Maricopa County accepted 20,500 mail-in ballots after Election Day 2020, including 18,000 – more than the entire election margin – on Nov. 4 picked up from the U.S. Postal Service. By law, ballots must be received no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, which was Nov. 3.
  • “The 20,000 ballots recorded as incoming from the USPS on and after November 4 were of sufficient quantity to change the result of the 2020 General Election in Arizona,” according to Verity Vote.
  • The findings were based on Maricopa County’s official Elections Department records, which were withheld from a public records request for nearly seven months. The records showed 18,000 mail-in ballots received on Nov. 4, 1,000 received on Nov. 5, and 1,500 received on Nov. 6.
  • The 18,000 mail-in ballots received on Nov. 4 and subsequently counted represented a significant spike in ballots received, higher than every day since Oct. 29, 2020. The receipt of mail-in ballots had steadily declined from 14,500 ballots on Oct. 29 to 10,500 on Oct. 30, 6,000 on Oct. 31, 1,500 on Nov. 1, 1,000 on Nov. 2, and 2,500 on Nov. 3.
  • In the 2020 General Election, 420,987 ballots failed signature verification standards, “thus the election was openly vulnerable to fraud,” according to an ongoing We the People Arizona Alliance analysis presented to the state legislature.
  • The initial analysis of 380,976 ballots, using official state records and official signature verification training techniques, identified 181,378 ballots that should not have been counted, or nearly half of all reviewed.
  • This includes 1,870 blank envelopes, some of which were approved on Nov. 5 and Nov. 8; 542 with a signature other than the voter; 2,104 scribbles; 128 duplicate voters processed; 48,117 unreasonably different control signatures; 1,875 where the signature did not match until after the election; 36,034 control signatures that do not match the voter; 4,433 unusable control signatures; 47,366 that failed Secretary of State standards; and 38,909 egregious signature mismatches, where not one point of a signature matched any on file.
  • In the case of the 1,875 votes, the ballot envelopes did not have a signature match on Election Day, but “matching” signatures were later put on file for the voter on either Jan. 28, 2021, Feb. 3, 2021 or Feb. 8, 2021. There were 783 signatures digitally inserted on Feb. 3, 2021 alone.
  • Since the findings were presented to the Arizona State Legislature, the number of egregious mismatches found has increased to 76,354, over seven times the election margin. This is an error rate of 9.30 percent of ballot envelopes reviewed.
  • Throughout the signature verification analysis, which remains ongoing, analysts have consistently found 20 percent do not meet the Secretary of State’s standards, and 9 percent are egregious violations. Extrapolated to all 1.9 million mail-in ballots in 2020, 176,700 ballots “should have been rejected for improper signature verification due to egregious signature mismatches.”
  • Maricopa County has no documented chain of custody for 740,000 ballots from the 2020 Election.
  • Out of the 923,000 early vote ballots accepted at vote centers or drop boxes, only 183,406 ballots are accounted for on ballot transport forms. More than 80 percent of the ballot transport forms have no ballot counts.
  • Without proper documentation of how many votes were cast at the time they were cast, it is impossible to verify the origin and true total of ballots in a given election. “Without this count, there is no way to determine if the transport staff retrieved one ballot or one thousand ballots,” according to Verity Vote. “Keeping a proper chain of custody is more than a best practice – it is essential to encouraging trust in our democracy,” according to the Election Assistance Commission.
  • Of the 1,895 early vote ballot transport forms, 48 did not have the required two witness signatures attesting to the ballot transfer, including some with no witness signatures at all. “As a result, the public is not assured that both parties witnessed the transfer of ballots,” as required.
  • Millions of files of 2020 General Election data and security logs were deleted from the Elections Management Server and purged on critical days, including the day before the Arizona audit of the 2020 Election began on Feb. 2, 2021.
  • The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors admitted they purged the system and moved election data after they received a subpoena, in testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • Two precincts in Pima County had over 100 percent turnout for mail-in ballots, and 40 precincts had over 97 percent returned.
  • The national mail-in ballot return rate was 71 percent, but in Pima County the mail-in ballot return rate was 15 percent higher, and 19 percent higher than all the counties combined in the entire state of Arizona. One precinct with 99.5 percent mail-in turnout had 9,812 ballots counted. Another precinct with 100.6 percent turnout had 2,182 ballots returned, but only 2,170 mail-ins were ever sent. These two precincts total 11,994 ballots, which alone is more than the margin needed to alter the outcome of the Presidential Election.
  • In all, there were 264,000 votes from precincts in Pima County with over 92 percent turnout for mail-in ballots.75
  • Significant anomalies were discovered for mail-in ballot returns in Pima County. In precincts with anomalous high turnout of over 92 percent in Pima County, mail-in ballots started flipping from 6 percent Republican for Biden to 40 percent of Republicans voting for Biden.
  • The election integrity group True the Vote identified more than 202 ballot traffickers in Maricopa County who made 4,282 individual drop box visits during the 2020 General Election.
  • Two individuals were charged and plead guilty to ballot harvesting in Yuma County, Arizona, during the 2020 primary election.
  • A computer scientist testified that an algorithm similar to what is used in cruise control or self-driving cars was present, affecting the early votes in Pima and Maricopa counties in the 2020 General Election, with the ability to “reach and maintain a predetermined setpoint (outcome) despite unplanned disturbances.”
  • Walter C. Daugherty, a senior lecturer emeritus in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University who developed courses in artificial intelligence, expert systems, programming, and software design, analyzed the Cast Vote Records, finding “ballots in Maricopa County and Pima County were artificially processed through the tabulators tracking a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) type control function in a closed-loop feedback system.”
  • Daugherity, who has received over $2.8 million in grant funding and was previously consulted as a computer expert by the New York Times, Washington Post, IBM Federal Systems Division, the Texas Department of Agriculture, U.S. Customs Service, as well as classified work, discovered “significant and systematic decline in the cumulative ratio as counting progresses,” in the early mail-in and in-person votes for the Presidential Election results in Maricopa County and Pima County.
  • For example, the “first block of ballots being 75 [percent] for a candidate, the next block of ballots being 74 [percent] for a candidate, the next block of ballots being 73 [percent] for a candidate, and so on, systematically declining all the way to Election Day.”
  • Daugherity’s expert opinion is that the downward-sloping line in the sequence of votes recorded indicated a strong control. The cumulative ratio of Biden to Trump votes for all cast vote records before Election Day in recorded order for Pima County declines from over 300 percent to 157 percent by Election Day.
  • “Such a uniform and predictable pattern is so statistically implausible that it would not occur without artificial manipulation,” according to Daugherty. The data’s lack of independence cannot be explained by the preference of Democrats voting earlier than Republicans.

Tour Day USA

How it’s Accomplished

It’s just a mask. It’s just six feet. It’s just two weeks. It’s just non-essential businesses. It’s just non-essential workers. It’s just a bar. It’s just a restaurant. It’s just to keep from overwhelming the hospitals. It’s just until the cases go down. It’s just to flatten the curve. It’s just a few inmates. It’s just to keep others from being scared. It’s just for a few more weeks. It’s just church. You could still pray. It’s just prayer. It’s just until we get a vaccine. It’s just a bracelet. It’s just an app. It’s just for tracing. It’s just to let people know you’re safe to be around. It’s just to let others know who you’ve been in contact with. It’s just a few more months. It’s just some more inmates. It’s just a video. It’s just a post. It’s just an email account. It’s just for protecting others from hate speech. It’s just for protecting others from hurt feelings. It’s just a large gathering but for protests. It’s just a few violent protests. It’s just a little microchip. It’s just a blood test. It’s just a test. It’s just a scan. It’s just for medical information. It’s just to store a vaccination certificate. It’s just like a credit card. It’s just a few places that don’t take cash. It’s so that you can travel. It’s so that you can get your driver’s license. It’s so that you can vote. It’s just mail-in voting. It’s just a few more years. It’s just a statue. It’s just a monument. It’s just a building. It’s just a song. It’s just a lyric. It’s just an anthem. It’s just a few words. It’s just a piece of paper. It’s just a book. It’s just a movie. It’s just a TV show. It’s just a cartoon character. It’s just a piece of cloth. It’s just a flag. It’s just a dog at a protest. It’s just a clump of cells. It’s just a fetus. It’s just a religion. It’s just a holiday. It’s just your guns. It’s just the police. It’s just the military. It’s just your freedoms are gone forever. And “It’s just” the way they planned it. 2% of the impassioned can rule over the 98% apathetic.

FINS

“Fins to the left, fins to the right, and you’re the only bait in town.” – Jimmy Buffett (for those of you who never attended a Buffett concert, you missed something cool – 40 and 50-year-olds going insane. Buddies of mine and I set up a portable “Shooters for Hooters” booth in the parking lot once—a shot of 1800 for a flash. Things got out of hand in the parking lot before the concert in a good way)

VIETNAM – A Donut Dolly cuts a cake, surrounded by military officers during the official opening of the Red Cross Recreation Center in Cam Ranh Air Base.

According to the officers, officers needed more morale-boosting experiences than the enlisted…it was ever thus. As an officer, I can relate to the extraordinary stress that officers are under, particularly in rear echelons. Sometimes, distant gunfire disturbs your rest at the BOQ.

TANK – NO ID REQUIRED

I won’t make you ID this one. This Swiss Centurion has four large hydraulic jacks capable of lifting the entire tank off the ground. At the rear is a crane. This machine was created to help construct Switzerland’s Centi bunkers containing obsolete Centurion turrets. Rather than truck the turrets up, they were placed onto this tank, which would then drive to the construction site. Upon arriving, it would stabilize itself with the outrigger jacks, lift off its turret, and place it in the bunker.

  1. Identify the Aircraft:
    1. Kawasaki Ki-45 ‘Nick’
    2. Curtiss XP-60C
    3. Nakajima B6N ‘Jill’

  2. We have lots of government problems in Australia but voting means on the day with photo ID using paper marked with pen. Always on a Saturday and from 08.00 to 6.00 pm. Counting is to 10.00 pm. Starts again on Sunday if needed. NO hidden extras.

Mail in is available with a lot of rules and must be in the post before voting day.

The electoral commission also does door to door checks every five or so years to ensure that the rolls are accurate.

Yes, you always need more guns though as mentioned before Christmas where to store them is a problem.

Mind you I am at the age I could use a gun bearer or two. Five trips to the car to put everything away on my last range day.

    1. As a young man, I was the bearer—good memories of hunting and beating the brush to flush game in the American West for my father and grandfather.

Our voting situation in the US is now well beyond unacceptable.

        1. You don’t want to run out of guns OR ammo. If you do, you can fall back to edged weapons, and there’s nothing wrong with that, even though you’re then bringing a knife to a gunfight.

        2. That also goes with assembling AR platform rifles. I have a rifle that started out as a barrel on sale.

  3. Once they were allowed to, PT boat crews improvised quite a bit with armament. Popular alterations were 37mm anti-tank guns mounted on the foredeck in a rotating ring, or using a Greyhound armored car turret, or an M8 howitzer gun carrier turret.

Others mounted mortars, flamethrowers, just about anything the crew could get their hands on and wouldn’t affect the boat too much.

Funny how we keep needing heavily armed and fast boats whenever things start getting hinky.

    1. The Germans and Japanese would never think of allowing their crews to up-armor their small boats or strap logs or treads onto the outside of their tanks to absorb incoming shots. Things were quite different with American troops, who innovated whenever they could.

  4. Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. The part when Slim Pickens gets gut-shot and knows the score was as visually stunning as it was tragic.

I’m stealing a couple of those pics to ship on over to Busted Knuckles for Monday Gun Day. Hope you don’t mind too much.

    1. Steal away. I like visiting Busted Knuckles.

Every day should be gun day, BTW. Monday rhymes with Gun Day, though so it is somehow more appealing.

      1. I met a friend from church at the range last night. He brought his grand niece whom I hadn’t seen in 20 years.
The girl was new to shooting and wanted to try everything and did fine.
Good discipline. Gonna be a thoracic surgeon soon.
It was a party! I invited everyone to try my luger, MP5, AR-15 pistol (7.62×39).
A friend I just met last night in the lane to my left then let me shoot his Staccato and his highly modded AK.
My friend lent me his Kimber.
        The ammo flowed like wine.
Range officers were shooting with us. And pull the trigger as fast as you want, who cares!

  5. “Shooters for Hooters” Booth? Heh. We’re all 8th Grade boys inside.

AZ- So with a long laundry list of damning evidence (recall Lake being told by the judge their evidence was not enough, or something like that) will that criminal Hobbs be arrested for election fraud/tampering? If what we all expected but still a little peeved it happened, Epps effectively skating for being the instigator operative, or Menendez on the Senate floor (where he’s protected in his bloviation of lies) pulling a “Ted Kennedy” (ie. I did nothing wrong!) after the drunkard left Mary Jo to drown a horrible death….not holding my breath. (Btw, Fetterman either was a plant or his brain problem caused a reset to Conservative-ness. Weird.)

In response to everything The Swamp has done and continues unabated ruining our country, I give you this warriors battle cry:

    “Once more into the fray,
Into the last good fight I’ll ever know.
Live and die on this day.
Live and die on this day.”

It may come to that in order to excise the political cancer infecting every level of government…even if it kills the host in the process…we’re good at rebuilding stuff.

    1. Just an aside, Mary Jo didn’t drown. She found an air pocket and eventually suffocated. If teddy would have attempted anything at all to save her, she would have lived.

      1. And that is the real point, he did nothing except to do the “forceful sales job” thereafter. However she ultimately died it was the worst, which makes The Lion’s (gag) inaction even more egregious. Menendez is now employing the same forceful sales tactic. Epps will run the fawning media circuit doing the same to force his innocence – or – might end up Epsteined (a new Websters word) to keep the spotlight off the perpetrators. Point is the J6 “detainees” don’t get that same deference, nor would any of us. If Fredd still visited he’d pile a massive Pox on their heads…I’m doing one in his namesake.

        1. It occurred to me this morning that I haven’t seen anyone facematch those guys in the crowd we suspect to be FBI with J6 persecuted.
          it can’t be done.

  6. And the 2024 elections will be worse. This nation is done. The criminals have won. Just get in line and stair at your feet.

It was a great country once, the world will miss it.

    1. Staring at your feet is not enough. They don’t want and do not tolerate sullen passivity. They want active assent. And apologies and groveling. Because They are The Real Victims who were wronged.

It’s not enough to keep quiet when a mentally-ill freak dresses up in devil horns and bondage gear and reads to children in the schools you pay for. You must praise the freak for being “stunning and brave” and you must apologize for your cis-het privilege.

It’s not enough that you were denied entry to prestigious gate-keeping university in favor of a Person of Color who grew up in Central Park West with a financier father and Columbia University Dean mother with a combined income of $12 million per annum, while your dad died of a stroke while you were 9 and your mom worked as a $9/hr waitress in your little South Dakota hometown. That POC is the real victim and you need to give more to repent of your white privilege.

      1. The white patriarchal cis-gender people who visit this blog have been invited to divest themselves of their assets and to quitclaim their property and liquidate everything else, sending the deeds and currency to me, self-identified as a 25-year-old black lesbian. I’ll make sure that it’s all well spent. I also sell carbon credits.

      2. Not just praise for being stunning and brave, you have to praise their fashion sense and complement their makeup.

        1. …as well as “liking” them on IG or following their guest appearances on Rue Paul’s Drag Race (16 seasons of that garbage, tells you how insane cable has become).

  7. Real Indian Nathan Phillips only needed a drum. (I wonder how democrats are taking care of him now). I, however, need that style of freedom seeds. In multiple calibers too.

  8. So what’s going on in Ecuador? Bad guys taking college kids and news folks hostage. Not hardly even on news.

    1. It’s standard cartel activity. It’s not a man-bites-dog scenario where it’s worthy of a story. Strictly dog bites man, normal stuff. It’s not as though the US news reports negroes slaughtering negroes in Chicago or Baltimore. Or carjackings in DC. Or assaults by inner city people anywhere in the US.

I had an incident at a gas station where a POC became outraged that I arrived at a pump before he did (state other than AZ). He started shouting at me and gesturing. So I got out of the car. Yes, OLD NFO, I wore shoot-me-first clothes and the POC recognized the pattern of dress, calmed down and said he’d wait until I finished pumping gas. I didn’t say a word. I may have looked like an angry white man who would send him on to hell. I can’t speak to his state of mind.

      1. Had to look up POC (yeah, sheltered from urban lingo), but pretty sure the well practiced “don’t even think about it” stare is often all that is needed to put these types, who forgot their manners, on their heels. Most are poseurs, a stiff breeze would blow them over.

        1. I’ve developed this Richard Widmark smile that I hope conveys a certain maniacal je ne sais quoi. You know, like you’ve been waiting all day for this moment.

          1. My problem is with the background I have (generally a nice guy who avoids confrontation – a sleeping dog mostly)…is needing to practice “a look”. The “but” is if pushed to far the East Coast comes out, then the fuse lights, and then all bets are off. Someone goes after MrsPaulM and the fuse lights immediately and I am happy to oblige the threat.

          2. A Richard Widmark smile…..….HAH! I love it. I know the smile you mean, as I’ve seen most of Widmark’s movies.

And Paul, I too, have that “Long Fuse, But It Burns Quick” attitude about certain things. You come after me, my wife, or any of our children/grandchildren, and I’ll be in a Weaver Stance so fast your head will spin…..

      2. LOL, no I’m not surprised at you, nor the outcome… you DO ‘project’ a certain ‘attitude’ that others do tend to notice… Re the AZ ballot crap, not surprised at all. And re the elections, we are getting closer and closer to that fourth ‘box’!

        1. I think a lot of people have taken that fourth box off the shelf, and are checking the contents.

I just wonder what pretense TPTB will use to loose their Flying Monkeys on us this Summer….

  9. I have gone from “mail in voting is a convenience for me” to “mail in voting is a necessity for them”. For whatever it is worth I will take my ballot and drop it off in person.

“Hooter for shooters” American ingenuity at its finest.

AZ voting irregularities. And yet no one is held accountable and the election stands. AZ is just one example. Does your vote count? Well maybe but probably not.

How it is accomplished. How true and we tend to go along with it because it is only one little thing at a time. Just think how different our lives were 20 years ago let alone 30 or 40 compared to today.

    Thought for the day. Yep

Tank, how strange would it be driving the tank back with no turret? A convertible.

    1. Shooters for hooters. You need to see the hooters first before you pour the shot. We had one Buffett fan strip completely (she didn’t have much on in the first place) and she demanded three shots. Which she received. Then she put her clothes back on.

        1. Yes, we thought so. The Buffet parking lot parties were even more fun than the concerts, with Parrothead music playing everywhere. One guy had a Harley Davidson Fatboy converted to mix margaritas. Serious commitment to the task. He must have blended 300 gallons of margaritas, given out gratis. After the concert, we were all headed to the cars in a parking lot, and some fool came up to me and demanded to fight, ending the evening with a pleasant adrenalin rush and some exercise.

          1. Hint: If you challenge somebody strange to you (even if you do have a three-piece, custom-made pool cue) to a fight and they smile, stretch a little, and thank you in advance, things may not go how you’d planned.

  10. LL, on the boat with the cudgel up gun mount. It appears to be 4 ma deuces in the center, but the outer two do not. What are they?

    1. It is an Elco Thunderbolt mount with four 20 MM cannon inboard and two .50 cal MG in the outboard positions.

      1. Thank you Jig and Surly! I have never seen .50 cal in that configuration but, then again I wasn’t in the squid Navy, I was an Army Puke and got to play with .50 cals mounted on the back of jeeps, deuce and halfs when I was an MP.

  11. Officers Clubs.
As an enlisted swine trained/certified in several skills, I picked up some spare cash operating a film projector on occasions at the officer club. What a boring, genteel establishment. I suspect some patrons would have enjoyed the ‘fight a night’ EM Club.

Bless the Army! Many two to three day schools available to those with a spark of ambition and adverse to the Guard/KP/Motor Stables grind. Postal clerk, photography, Pathfinder (read a map, lay out a motor route), basic demolition (not real fun in a Bavarian winter with SF instructors), etc. Maybe why I made E-5 in twenty eight months despite a fondness for Singapore Slings, kicking asses, and frequent counselling sessions with the kindly First Sargent.

Somewhere there must have been some rowdy officer clubs.

      1. Tailhook, before the newsies ruined it.

You don’t party hard at the O-Club. There are other places for hijinx.

  12. 2020 Elections in Arizona
I think the Dems/Leftists/Socialist-Progs have found the answer to their probs with the 2020. They’re gonna find some poor swine (whom they no longer need/is suicidal) and have him/her/it admit to election/vote tampering and allow The Donald his 2020 victory.

  13. Jimmy Buffet concert Redding, CA.
    🎶Stepped on a pop-top…
“…broke my leg had to limp on back home.” >>”…cut my heal had to cruise on back home.”🎶
Jimmy was on stage with his leg in a cast. That was the FIRST time he broke his leg playing softball.
How do you break your leg playing softball…twice?
    Added verse:
    🎶”Wish I had some cocaine.”🎶
Unsurprisingly, a local female parrot head volunteered party supplies after the concert.
