      As to the “Yellow Peril”. Waaal, my high school class had about 575 students. About 30-35 (depending on the particular subject) of us were in the AP track. Of these there were 12.5 East Asians, 1.5 of whom were Korean and the rest Chinese. A few years after graduation, we discovered that the AP teachers referred to us as “The Yellow Horde”. Now nearly all of these teachers were good radical hard-left liberals. There’s a moral in there somewhere, but I’m not sure what it is. Some people were offended when they found out the nickname, but I laughed my butt off.

         1. Heh! I was a disappointment even then — not Temujin to The Horde. (The “Yellow Horde” included white and Jewish kids, BTW.) Interestingly I don’t think there WAS a leader. I was fortunate, it was just a bunch of mostly good kids who overall were good influences on each other. Everyone went to an elite college, for one thing. But we weren’t real-world smart. Not a one went into finance nor politics. Nearly everyone ended up with a STEM or med doctorate of one sort or another, but that’s a strategy of minimizing your greatest possible loss, not maximizing gain, be it money or power.

      2. There’s nothing more racist, sexist, bigoted and close-minded than a ‘Progressive’ or ‘Liberal’ or outright ‘Leftist.

         True conservatives don’t care what someone looks like as long as it doesn’t cause problems and does its damned job in a somewhat more than adequate way. But we’re the ones that are wrong, right?

7. By nearly anyone’s standards I’m more of a white nationalist than over 90% of actual whites. (For those who find that cryptic, I’m genetically Han Chinese — or so I’m told…) Oh the irony.

   Low Taek Jho is a “Malaysian” in the same way that Karl Marx was “German”. That fat bastid is Teochow Chinese (a particularly annoying Chinese sub-ethnic group). The greedy, grasping, nepotistic, condescending behavior of the Teochow is one of the reasons “Overseas Chinese” are so virulently hated in SE Asia. Add that they are disproportionately successful economically in their host countries and they are really really hated. (To be fair, they probably are a bit smarter than the host populations, and they can/do work hard. So they did sort of earn their success. But the neoptism and the way they openly consider their hosts as quasi-subhuman makes them hated with good reason.) Yuri Slezkine labels them as “Mercurians” (q.v.).

   Teochow are not only horrible to Malays, Thais, etc. They are also horrible to other Han. Derbyshire has lots of stories about the problems his (Chinese) wife has had with the feckers. My own mother had unpleasant run ins with Those People also. That said, I dislike Mercurian behavior on principle, not because of family history. (In other words, persons not ethnically of traditionally Mercurian groups who act as Mercurians are on the personal shit list too. Conversely, Mercurian-descended individuals who act decently are just fine.)

   1. The extent of the influence of Teochow criminal organizations is largely underappreciated. The Teochow took over Thailand in 1957 and still run the place. They control the Golden Triangle today as they have essentially since WW2. Naturally, their influence dates much farther back historically. They’re represented in Hong Kong by the Sun Yee On Triad.

      My professional experience with the Teochow in the US and Asia is rich and colorful and is not grist for this public blog, but suffice to say that the Teochow have an exceptionally long reach and an inexhaustible supply of money.

      Studying Swantow and the history of Seven Mountains is instructive.

               But refuse to surrender after the walls are breached? F. Them. Kill them all, God will know his own. Close the wall with our dead as we kill everyone in the city from men, women to children, babies, dogs, cats everyone and everything.

               If the ‘real Catholics’ had just turned in or turned on the Cathars, things would have been okay. But, no, the good subjects of Beziers didn’t surrender and hand over the rebels, nope, so even the most chivalrous and gracious Simon de Montfort had no problem killing everything and everybody.

               Sucks? No. The besieged had the chance. They rolled the dice and lost, bigly.

               Same with the City of Jerusalem in the First Crusade. Crusaders made a huge breach and the city should have surrendered. They did not. So the Crusaders did what medieval Christians did. Killed them all and God will know his own. Muslims, Christians, Jews, dogs, cats, everyone. Kill, rape, capture and sell as slaves, nobody was safe from The Sack.

               Sacking an enemy was the ultimate ‘weapon of mass destruction’ held over everyone on the receiving end of a siege. And it usually only took one good sack or massacre at the beginning of a campaign to show the rest of the defending castles, cities, forts, villages, hamlets and so forth a reason to surrender.

               And people were so scared of being sacked and massacred that there are instances where the besieged turned upon their leaders and either turned them over alive to the besiegers or just tossed them over the wall, dead or alive, as proof that they were giving up.

               Medieval Europeans knew the damage of a sack, of a siege, of ‘city fighting’ and worked very hard to mitigate the damage. Eh, meet our new rulers, same as the old rulers, yay, there is much rejoicing (that we are all alive and still have most of our possessions and can feed our families over the winter…)

(as in Baron Vladimir Harkonnen).
