I want the scope of Presidential Pardons to go before SCOTUS.          The constitution gives the president broad authority to pardon all except in cases of impeachment. The three branches of our government were to balance each other so that one does not overwhelm the others and ignore the constitutional limits on government. That bus left the Greyhound station with plenty of Ameripass ticket holders some time ago. We need to stay closer to the constitution and to be more attentive to what is going on in government at all levels, from D.C. to our home towns. The US Supreme court has made terrible decisions and some good ones; however, the Supreme Court has no business in presidential pardons.

         The pardons prohibit using 5th Amendment protections, so these jokers should be brought into Congress and the courts at all levels where they may be grilled like cheese sandwich in a cheap roadside stand. When they perjure themselves or when they refuse to answer they are then open to jail cells for homes. To solve the anger portion of this problem, they would have to expose their cohorts in crime who would then be able to have their day in court also. That would empty many of the seats in our government and you could smile every morning.

Point is the pardons show that recipients of all preemptive pardons are actually an imputation of guilt, or under President Trump could be found guilty. It’s a built-in Catch-22 in both directions (allowing it while offering it), including the “5th” aspect you point out. The Irrelevant did all of these for political points, the latest grouping is a CYA for his own corrupt sorry rear end.
