Bullet Points:

** There should be a sermonette of some kind today. Does this work for a high information sermonette?

** A mainstream media reporter claims PTSD – (Fox) CBS News Capitol Hill correspondent Scott MacFarlane told podcaster Chuck Todd on Wednesday about how traumatized he was by Trump rallygoers blaming the media for the assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in 2024. Americans reeled in shock from the attempt on Trump’s life during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Still, MacFarlane said he had personal trauma from the crowd’s immediate rage in response. “For those of us there, it was such a horror because you saw an emerging America,” MacFarlane told Todd on his podcast. “And it wasn’t the shooting, Chuck. This was – I got diagnosed with PTSD within 48 hours. I got put on trauma leave, not because, I think, of the shooting, but because you saw it in the eyes, the reaction of the people.”

** I was happy to hear that CBS canceled Colbert’s leftist program. Stephen Colbert’s annual salary as the host of The Late Show is estimated to be around $15 million. The show will run through May 2026, so it is not as if Colbert will need to start setting up a GoFundMe page to cover the payments for his Bentley fleet or his mansions, just yet. Stephen Colbert’s legacy will be this: He was a gerbil of a man, an establishment shill, a toadie to big government, a follower instead of a trailblazer, a self-involved statist, a moral coward in the face of Woke McCarthyism, and a divisive, self-regarding loser who killed an entire late-night franchise because he sought applause from those who agreed with him instead of laughs from the rest of us. Most unforgivably, he sought only the approval of elites because he saw himself as too superior to entertain the rest of us. In short, Stephen Colbert will be remembered as a dick.

** French Band – An electronic “band” called Yelle said it is canceling its North American tour because they do not “feel safe” traveling to the U.S. due to “the current political climate in the U.S.,” bizarrely citing “immigration and freedom of speech” as their reasons, before admitting to currently facing financial difficulties.

** Please send food and old clothes to Switzerland! Thousands of layoffs have occurred at United Nations agencies in Geneva, Switzerland, and elsewhere around the world as a result of the Trump administration’s withdrawal from the World Health Organization and the rollback of the U.S.’s international obligations. All those people can learn to code, so there is light at the end of the tunnel for them.

** Big Mike and Barack – divorce rumors on Beck’s show. Would Big Mike leave his husband?

** Domestic Flights in China – just a recollection. I was in Red China, teaching at the People’s Public Security University, some time ago, and found myself in Hunan with two knuckle-draggers from the Public Security Bureau, headed for a flight out of Changsha bound for Shanghai, as I recall. They were late getting me to the flight, and I was very concerned that I’d miss it. They explained that there was no rush; the airplane would not leave without me. Really? Yes, they explained that nobody in China knew how important a person might be who bought a ticket so as not to be chopped; they never flew until everyone arrived. Sure enough, I arrived about 45 minutes late, and they held the regularly scheduled passenger flight for me. Once I sat down, they closed the door and pushed back from the gate. I don’t think there were classes of flight inside China. I don’t recall. I think it was around 1998. I always found China to be not quite what I expected at many levels.

** (Fox) Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, an illegal alien from Mexico, allegedly decapitated 39-year-old American, Megan Bos, and stored her body in a bleach-filled container in his backyard. Instead of holding him, a liberal judge released him right back onto the streets. Thankfully, ICE stepped in and re-arrested him in Chicago. He’s now in federal custody, and the Department of Homeland Security is calling the act “absolutely repulsive.”

** Will Barack Obama be prosecuted for the conspiracy (here) against President Trump?  Let’s lay it out. Obama, a gay mulatto married a tranny – son and grandson of communists – and a two-term hero to negroes. My guess is no.

A glance doesn’t say anything
and at the same time says everything

The Empire State

New York’s staggering fiscal plans have drawn sharp criticism from the nonpartisan watchdog group, the Citizens Budget Commission (CBC).

The state’s $254 billion and the city’s $116 billion budgets are deemed both “unaffordable and unprepared,” with insufficient reserves to weather a recession or federal funding cuts.

CBC warns that the incoming NYC mayor could face a $6–8 billion shortfall just 16 days after taking office, while state finances reveal a looming $22 billion structural deficit

The CBC aimed at Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $2 billion inflation relief checks and criticized mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani’s proposed $10 billion spending plan, reliant on tax hikes.

While Hochul defends her choices as “fiscally prudent” and flexible amid uncertainty, critics insist the budget lacks adequate contingency planning.

Marxist-style income redistribution will only prompt the productive to leave New York in ever greater numbers.

Chicago

MikeW referenced the International Association of Asian Crime Investigators’ Conference in Chicago. I rode the way-back machine. It feels like a Coldplay Concert. There must be an old photo of MikeW, the Prince of Darkness, and WoFat somewhere.

I think that KenS was the president of the association then, and I was the vice president – right, or am I missing a year?  Connie (above) worked for a federal agency but I don’t recall which one Liz (below) was an criminal investigator for the Internal Revenue Service.

Identify the Aircraft

1

The model built for combat fired a 20MM cannon through the propeller hub.

2

About 500 built

3

Yes, but which model?

4

A light ground-attack and counter-insurgency aircraft developed in the 1950s. It featured a low-wing monoplane design with tandem seating and was optimized for operations from rough airstrips. The aircraft could carry Nord SS.10 wire-guided anti-tank missiles. It also featured a 12.7mm machine gun and four 7.5mm machine guns in the nose, along with unguided rockets or bombs under the wings. An order for 115 was placed in 1956, but was cancelled in 1957.

Easy ID, but I like it.

  1. Identify the Aircraft:
    1. Dewoitine D.500
    2. Saab 32 Lansen
    3. North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco Night Observation Gunship
    4. Potez 75
    Identify the Armor:
    5. Strv 103

  2. The reporters? They can go copulate themselves, preferably while in a functioning Mobark 3000. Because the media’s absolute hatred of Trump or anything positive about the US of A definitely fueled the nutburgers out there. Now connect the shooters to their FBI handlers may be a little more difficult to prove.

The Frog Band? They can go join the reporters in copulating themselves in said Mobark 3000. Yeah, it’s so unsafe here that we’ve had no muzzies setting churches on fire or cutting priests’ throats during mass and only in some places are the subsaharans a threat to white people.

Barky and Big Mike? Well, since they’re obviously not copulating with each other, they can also go join the reporters and the frogs in said Mobark. Getting crowded in there, may have to shift to a bigger chipper-shredder or one of those that can eat cars.

UN workers losing jobs? Meh. They can join the line for chipping and shredding. It’s the UN. North Korea is more valid as a functioning potential government. And that’s not saying much.

New York – both the state and the city. They can self-copulate. Did it to themselves. Cry me a river. Boo-friggin-ho. Hochel can go jump the line of self-copulation and chipper shredding. Whatever or whomever is currently mayor of NYfC can join her/him/it. All I want from NY – the state and the city – is that they keep their retards in state and allow political refugees to make it out, said political refugees being conservative gun and freedom loving individuals who know there are only two sexes but lots of different mental illnesses.

I could riff more, but I’m tired. Say goodnight, Beans. Good night Beans.

      1. He’s not wrong…x2…bunch of whiny soy milk drinkers acting like they are the ‘put upon’s’ after injecting themselves into a story or event. Wahh.

      1. Heh…for me, I managed to get dressed without injury or pulling a muscle, which is a good start. Plus, the popovers actually popped at altitude using a new flour, Bob’ Red Mill 5g protein ‘artisanal’ bread flour. Chemistry transcended the lab for success…and no one was injured in the process.

        1. Bob’s Red Mill is good flour. Their cornmeal makes excellent cornbread, and I use the Semolina to dust the sheet I bake rye bread on. King Arthur also has an excellent line of flours and other baking supplies.

      2. I’ve woken up on the right side of the bed ever since seeing my first paycheck and going “WTF!” Previously I was raised as a FDR democrat.

Been shifting more right since. My mother accused me of being a Republican (which I am registered as, basically, so I can screw with the local commies) and I set her straight. I’m a Constitutionalist. If it ain’t in the Constitution as to how the government can bend me over, then the default setting is “No, you federal government, cannot do it. So there.”

    1. Good night, Beans.

And am leaving the Big Apple, leaving it to its own devices.

  3. The judge who released the illegal alien monster murderer is Judge Rhonda ( Randie ) Bruno . I’m sure that you will be shocked – SHOCKED ! – to learn she is a white liberal woman .

    1. Are you sure she identifies as “white”? Or as “she” for that matter? Until we ask the judge, we’ll never know.

PS, “patterns” are hateful, LL. Noticing patterns out loud is NOT protected speech (in the first amendment sense).

      1. UNLESS I notice how systemically hateful the white patriarchy is – then pattern recognition is a sign of enlightenment.

  4. I have a question in reference to the story about the Murderer, Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, listed above…
When you said that a Liberal Judge had released him back onto the streets, where upon ICE had recaptured him and the Department of Homeland Security is calling the act “absolutely repulsive.”
    ****************************************************
Was Homeland security calling the brutal murder “absolutely repulsive”, or were they talking about the actions of the Liberal Judge?
    *****************************************************
I wonder, in the long term which action is more “repulsive”? Which action does more damage to us as a civilized society?
    MSG Grumpy

    1. The judge needs to be weighed, measured (for a coffin or a wood chipper), and eliminated from the gene pool along with the murderer and illegal alien, Jose Mendoza-Gonzalez. Some would say that my view on the matter is less than woke.

      1. The judge needs to put this guy or his ilk up in her spare bedroom…see how long it takes to change her tune. It’s okay to make such rulings/statements from a distance. (Watched The Amateur last night….not so easy to point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, especially when it goes against ones nature, no matter the good reason to let the air out of an evil person.)

      2. Maybe put the two of them in the same cell for a couple of months. The problem would likely self-correct by about 50%.

        1. X2 – she’d change her tune when she ended up beheaded in a bucket of bleach.

          1. The tune “Love for Sale” comes to mind for some reason. Does that make me a bad person?

    2. Which does more damage to a civilized society? The judges and prosecutors who put their personal feelings above the actual law.

A murderer is just a murderer. No matter how many they kill, they’re just an anomaly, even in the deepest darkest portions of our leftard cities.

Judges can do so much more damage. Like, oh, say, federal judges who overturn the Supreme Court. Or a left-leaning Supreme Court (Roe vs Wade was decided upon the Privacy Clause, not anything else, and was a travesty of judicial activism.) Or judges who actively rule against the law. Like judges who hire and hide illegals, or let out murderers and so forth. Or judges who ignore actual evidence of misconduct or jury tampering in order to get their agenda through (Chauvin was proven innocent, until the judge ignored the blatant evidence of jury tampering, and I wonder how much judge tampering went on.)

Prosecutors who throw out good cases because they want to, or plea down major felony charges down to misdemeanors (because a plea acceptance is as much a win as a guilty in trial verdict.

  5. PTSD for the reporter guarantees worker’s compensation for as long as a psychiatrist can satisfy the scrutiny of insurance investigators. It will be a long, long time, and the checks will arrive long after the job position is closed.

    1. Ah yes, compensation for his tender feelings being bruised. There are a lot of journalists who are headed in the same direction.

  6. The unfortunate reality of the “most Americans prefer to ram through human roadblocks” is that it just doesn’t happen often enough to provide the education that seems to be required. I’ve seen more times when Americans get out of the car and drag the protestors off the road. That’s like giving the answers to the test questions to everyone in class.
    ~~
I remember a few years ago in France (of all places) a protestor in the street lost his hand while another lost an eye.

  7. Picking only a few to comment, as like most days, the blog is a target rich environment.
    ***
“… feel safe” traveling to the U.S. due to “the current political climate in the U.S.,”: People who make such “symbolism over substance” (h/t Rush) statements never give examples, only emote. Good, stay away we don’t need you here.
    ***
NYC is toast, and there will be no escaping this time…Florida doesn’t want them.

    1. NYC and NY in general “Use By” date is long past. The sane and un-woke ones already departed that once-great locale for greener pastures. Those finally deciding to un-ass the disaster that they have suffered/are suffering at this late state of the game, are less-welcome than the earlier escapees. The greener pastures are fenced off and cultivated. Options are more limited. Maybe we need to redivide the term “sanctuary state” to cover those migrants from the blue hellholes to better surrounds.
I’m tired, it shows. Sympathy can be found somewhere in the dictionary between sh1t and …STD beginning in S…

  8. With H.E.B on the reporters; Following the link to see the Fox, Credible Salina Zito gives a first hand account. The PTSD is NOT the way the crowd voiced their reaction to attemps to assassinate the POTUS. No which side of the aisle we’re on respect for the office is to be held. The real cause of the PTSD that would be found in a therapists notes is Bug Mac Scotty chucked his nut burger due to realizing the cheering of the National broadcast wasn’t ” Bullseye!” as planned. Gaslighter’s be damned!

    Caption Image; My personal musings…
    – Is he a ” harmless wedge “? He looks peeved. I would be too. Especially if I just landed a bi- plane ultralight after dogfighting Hamas. When my man cave ideas and silent canine companionship are discussed in our household briefings, I’m compliant to ” stand down”, which at times becomes painful. Im not missing my right thumb or wearing a watch half torn off but the scars of battle of duty are abundant enough to really relate to the illustration today. At ultralight speeds the aviator goggles may not seem necessary, but it’s always good to be prepared for whatever one may encounter when approaching from aft side of any vessel. Are the sandles for trecking across arid plains, or easier to be discarded than boots if downed over water?

  9. ” All those people can learn to code, so there is light at the end of the tunnel for them.”
AI is taking over the coding, those folks should give some thought to plumbing or welding… maybe they should talk to Mike Rowe about learning a trade?

    1. I hear that the sewers in New York City need to be cleaned…job opportunity for those who lose their coding jobs.

  10. If the communist drives the productive class out of NYC, the real estate market will collapse. When that happens, the ripple effect will spread through the national financial sector, like in 2008.

    1. I don’t know. They’re displacing their wealth, it’s not “vanishing” – not completely. It might feel like 2008 in NYC.

    2. Between 9/11 and the 2008 crash, a lot of big investment firms moved out of NYfC. To republican states. Jacksonville, FL is one of the largest not-NYfC financial locations.

As to the leftist turdburglars moving to Florida, please, oh God, please don’t let that happen. We have enough problems with NYfC South, Fl, otherwise known as Broward County. Farked up elections in Florida? Broward County. Messed up liberal politics? Broward County. Police too scared to chase after a gunman? Broward County and Orange County (which is almost as bad as Broward, just has less Yankee bullshit and more Mouse scat.

  11. Seems my “Give a Shit” meter stays on the left peg as I read about traumatized reporters, and NY/NYC fiscal woes. Guess I need the check my privilege.

  12. Gotta be AI. That old dude at the top is smoking a filtered cigarette that’s very nicely rolled. Maybe he keeps the machines running that make them in a post-apocalyptic world?
    .
A reporter got “Trauma Leave”? Edward R. Morrow is spinning at about 10k in his grave, along with Ernie Pyle and many others.
    .

    1. If his traumatic exposure to people like YOU, DRJIM, is bad enough, he may need to file for a medical disability and lifetime pension. Pajama boys…used to be sent off to war where they died in the first week, clearing out the gene pool for a stronger version of humanity to flourish.

    2. I think you may want to ask if he is selling his tub, seeing as that is all we are going to afford soon, I would have him throw in a carton of those filtered cigarettes as a deal sweetener….

  13. Larry. Have unearthed some photos, which as you suggested above, must be about somewhere. The ones I have feature your good self, Wofat, Tom Perdue, Cord H, Person X (also known as The Prince of Darkness), Dave Kaplan, Professor Doug Day (the author of A Law Enforcement Sourcebook of Asian Crime and Cultures: Tactics and Mindsets – highly recommended as an introduction to those with no background in Asian crime and/or cultures and as a refrsher to those that have), Mark Howell (an Assistant Attorney General for California) and Bosco, as well as one of his olvely young ladies. I shall have them scanned to a memory stick, upload them to my laptop, and e-mail them to you.
