The Daytona 500
Bullet Points:
** There are a lot of despicable talking heads in the media, but none so vile as MSNBC’s Joy Reid — “America’s number-one bigot,” says Mark Levin. Levin’s distaste for Reid recently culminated in the creation of a new word when she lied about Donald Trump and his attempts to get illegal immigration under control. Upon hearing her claims that the Trump administration is “making a show” of mass deportations, Levin coined the term “hemorrhoidic” — that is, “a human hemorrhoid” — to better describe how he sees Reid. “I made it up. I like it,” he admits.
** Ft. Knox – Yes, I’d like them to count the gold bars there too.

** “The Friday before Inauguration Day, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) illustrated the fiscal challenge facing President Trump and the new Republican Congress. In a short version of its annual Budget and Economic Outlook, CBO quantified the federal government’s whopping $21.8 trillion budget deficits in the coming decade. While the updated numbers only marginally constitute news—the CBO has warned for years about our dire financial future, only for lawmakers to keep spending—one particular nugget illustrates the problem. The budget gnomes significantly increased their spending projections for Medicaid, just one example of how entitlement programs continue to cannibalize the federal budget.
** Dragging the sack for Jules: Hush – The smudge of lavender’s hush transcends the mist of uncertainty. A promise from a lilac blush, that seemingly, draws you in with aromatic balm. A gentle drift upon, a blue and violet calm.
** Your next move matters more than your last mistake.
** You can always do something to make your future easier. Do that.
** Jules spends a night in the no-tell motel – more here.
** In November, I mentioned that Meta—the owner of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, with billions of users accounting for 10% of all fixed and 22% of all mobile traffic—was close to announcing work on a major new, $10 billion+ subsea cable project to connect the globe. The aim was to give Meta more control over how it runs its services.
Meta confirmed details: Project Waterworth is the official name, and when completed, it will be 50,000 kilometers long, making it the world’s longest subsea cable project. The network will connect five continents, with landing points in the United States, Brazil, India, South Africa, and other key regions. Facebook particularly calls out the opportunities in India and the role the network will play in how it rolls out AI services globally as two key reasons for building the network.
In terms of the network itself, Meta says it will be breaking new ground with its architecture, using 24 fiber pair cables and what it describes as first-of-its-kind routing, “maximizing the cable laid in deep water — at depths up to 20,000 feet” along with new burial techniques to reduce faults in areas deemed “high risk,” either because of geographical issues, or politics — and sometimes both.
** Elon Musk’s chart shows the total count of active SSNs is 398 million. That means there are +64 million more active SSNs than the entire population of the United States (334 million). Somebody has some explaining to do. (h/t EdB)

** You can fake a lot of things in life. Work ethic isn’t one of them.
** Worth Discussing —

** If American Democracy can survive ten years of Greta Thunberg’s scolding, the Eurotrash can survive a few months of Elon Musk.
** Russia has asked that, as part of a peace deal with Ukraine, the nation hold a free and fair election, which was stopped by the current President, Voldomir Zelenskyy, during the fighting. Zelenskyy says that’s a horrible idea, and I can’t help but wonder whether Russia is onto something. Why not allow free and fair elections, which are long delayed? The Ukrainians can offer international observers a view of the process. Maybe tie each voter to a ballot (imagine that) so that cheating is unlikely. If Voldomir is as popular as he claims, he will win the plebiscite and move into the new and peaceful Ukraine with a mandate.
More on Ukraine
Donald Trump’s demand for a $500 billion (£400 billion) “payback” from Ukraine goes far beyond US control over the country’s critical minerals. It covers everything from ports and infrastructure to oil and gas and the country’s more extensive resource base. The terms of the contract that landed at Volodymyr Zelensky’s office a week ago amount to the US economic colonization of Ukraine in legal perpetuity. It implies a burden of reparations that cannot possibly be achieved. The document has caused consternation and panic in Kyiv.
The pre-decisional contract, marked “Privileged & Confidential’ is dated Feb 7, 2025. It states that the US and Ukraine should form a joint investment fund to ensure that “hostile parties to the conflict do not benefit from the reconstruction of Ukraine.” The agreement covers the “economic value associated with resources of Ukraine,” including “mineral resources, oil and gas resources, ports, other infrastructure (as agreed),” leaving it unclear what else might be encompassed. “This agreement shall be governed by New York law, without regard to conflict of laws principles,” it states.
Putin will respect the ruthless power grab, as will the Saudis. The EU will end up holding the bag for the expense of defending Ukraine…

Uranium
It’s an interesting article – first and then my take on it.
American and European companies in the nuclear energy supply chain have become increasingly vulnerable to a possible supply shock in the uranium market amid fierce resource competition from China and Russia and the planned surge in nuclear power generation to meet electricity demand.
Many countries are now looking to nuclear power to cut emissions and reliance on oil and gas imports and meet the growing power demand from AI and data centers, so they would need a larger uranium supply.
However, China and Russia have moved to secure supply from African countries and are buying the key nuclear fuel from Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is the biggest producer of uranium in the world and prefers to keep its sales diversified.
Industry executives have told the Financial Times that not all in the nuclear power industry and energy companies in the West have realized that competition for uranium supply is leading to a supply crunch.
“We’re on a depletion curve that I don’t think many customers have realized,” Cory Kos, vice-president of investor relations at Cameco, the most prominent western supplier based in Canada, told FT.
Amid plans to expand nuclear power generation in many countries, including the United States, uranium demand is set to surge in the coming years and decades, while Western companies are seeing increased competition from China and Russia for supply.

Greenland currently has a moratorium on Uranium mining, but that could change. I wonder if President Trump knows that. (This is tongue-in-cheek.) About a year ago, I was retained to explore the political situation in Greenland and the Uranium situation. I know a LOT about it, including the composition of Greenland’s Inatsisartut (the legislature) and each member’s politics. I have no problem sharing that on the blog, but I don’t want to bore you. Some (lawful) strategies could be taken to shift the Inatsisartut to allow Uranium mining to resume if somebody wanted to do that. Does the USA want to play in the Danish sandbox? What about a profit-sharing arrangement? Stand by. The Greenland matter has not played out.
The USA also has massive proven reserves of Uranium, but EPA regulations prohibit extraction. Although uranium is relatively common, the article doesn’t mention that. Finding profitable concentrations is a separate issue. If one wasn’t interested in profitability on the international yellow cake (303) market, you could mine as much as you needed in the continental US if the EPA stepped back. Thus, the article is misleading.
The French were mining in Mali until the Russians took over late last year. Wow, France, why did you let them do that? (meow)
In Gaza
(AP News) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday signaled that he was moving ahead with U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to transfer the Palestinian population out of Gaza, calling it “the only viable plan to enable a different future” for the region.
Netanyahu discussed the plan with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who kicked off a Middle East visit by endorsing Israel’s war aims in Gaza, saying Hamas “must be eradicated.”
That created further doubt around the shaky ceasefire as talks on its second phase are yet to begin.
Rubio, in his upcoming stops in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, is likely to face more pushback from Arab leaders over Trump’s proposal, which includes redeveloping Gaza under U.S. ownership. Netanyahu has said all emigration from Gaza should be “voluntary,” but rights groups and other critics say that the plan amounts to coercion given the territory’s vast destruction.
Netanyahu said he and Trump have a “common strategy” for Gaza.”
Is it a good idea to put a Hogg in charge?
(link) In his role as Democratic National Committee vice chair, gun control zealot David Hogg is putting himself first. According to the New York Post, Hogg has irritated some by using the DNC contact list to shill for his own political action committee. The PAC funds Hogg, who was elected to the DNC in January, at more than $100,000 per year.
I support the DNC leaving Hogg in place in a leadership role – or maybe running him for President.

I know a recently retired O-6 who was transportation corps and ran convoys and whatnot in Iraq. He said Big Army had to go find Viet Nam veterans to learn how they built gun trucks and ran convoys because that institutional knowledge was schidt-canned after Veet Nom. As Bobby Troop said in MASH, “goddam army.” There’s some stuff on toot-yube about it, if anybody was interested.
Yes, I read about that.
The main reason for the US Army publishing it’s history of WWII series, commonly called ‘The Green Books,’ was that Big Army realized that they would begin to lose the institutional memory of how they conducted combat operations during WWII. Thus they hired a metric boat-load of historians to track down people to fill in all the unsaid things behind all the combat reports.

One book, “The Seizure of the Gilberts and Marshalls,” details pre-planning, logistics before, training before action, what actually happened and then a complete analysis of everything that went wrong and what plans to fix issues. So issues from Tarawa, Bloody Tarawa, showed that lack of proper tidal information, lack of amtracks and DUKWs, lack of artillery bombardment before the actual landing, lack of critical supplies being landed quickly in the 2nd Wave (including things like… uniforms and water) were all addressed in subsequent landings.

Too bad the Army didn’t do the same for the Vietnam War.
Yes!
Question came up on another site – is anyone making counterfeit T-bills? I would think that large crime organizations and/or hostile governments would be able to do it.
They’re serialized and tracked closely. Every dollar bill is a bond in bearer form.
So they are secure as long as competent and honest government employees are watching closely?
I think that the Federal Reserve watches them and tracks them.
Yeah, bankers would take that seriously.

I love the idea of honest elections in Ukraine. We can hold them the same day that Russia hold them.
Russia holds them and Putin wins. Despite the popular notion, Putin remains popular in Russia. You can argue that his rivals meet with accidents. The same thing happens in Ukraine under Skyy. So I don’t know what to say.
Maybe so, but we’re not giving billions to Russia.

I’m enjoying the frenzied response of our Free and Unbiased Press to Trump’s remarks on Zelenskyy. I wonder why Our Betters love Zelenskyy so much. What could they possibly have in common (other than love of cocaine, and apparently, cock [1])? It is a mystery and a puzzlement.
—
“ hostile parties to the conflict do not benefit from the reconstruction of Ukraine.”
Already too late, I’m thinking. Didn’t someone say that Black Rock has contracts to assrape the corpse of Ukraine? Er, I meant to say selflessly rebuild glorious Ukraine. Perhaps Mr Fink will out do the services that Kaganovich and Molotov rendered to the Ukrainian people.

[1] I’m following Candace Owens’ series “Becoming Brigitte Macron”. If even a fraction of that is true, the West is fallen FAR more than even I’d thought. (I’m still furious over the mockery of the Last Supper, and I’m no Christian.)
Skyy hobnobbed freely with your betters, which makes me worry about your life choices. You could have become a Ukrainian dictator if only you could had a successful tranny nightclub act (and developed a wicked cocaine habit).
MikeC would never become part of the “Keeve” hoodie thespian group, even at the point of a dull bread knife.
I might be persuaded to say “Keev” like all the virtue-signaling idiots. But I draw the line at developing a coke habit. And hoovering up (J Edgar Hoovering*, yet) dicks is right out.

That was interesting uranium news!
Every time I look at David Hogg I’m torn between Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd, though who’s pulling his strings?
it appears our energy source considerations have been limited to: nuclear, green/”clean” (wind, tidal,solar,unicorn farts), fossil/carbon (coal,oil,gas);
there’s another source: geothermal – digging a hole several miles through the continental crust and forcing water down to extract tthe heat – might satisfy the “Greenies”
I try not to look at that TikTok-grade charlatan weasel. Talk about irrelevant on steroids.
–
Geothermal needs more mainstreaming…altho if it is a solution (which the Left hates) the Enviro-wacko’s will say it’s bad to poke holes in Gaia’s “skin”, which completely failing “she” has plenty of her own spewing all manner of things into the oceans and atmosphere (ONE St. Helen’s superseded all of mankind’s influence inside of a day).
They did that in Hawaii, where the volcano erupted and destroyed the plant. That said, finding a way to make geothermal affordable has been elusive. You need VERY hot water to turn the turbines and getting it hot and keeping it hot on the trip up means that it needs to be near the magma – and magma is magma. Maybe if the pipes could be made of diamond as they got closer to the heat source it would work better?
True…and for homes it works best below the Mason-Dixon line. But right now residential systems use a huge field of coils (a lot of land excavation/fill to get to “warmer temp” depth) or multiple wells drilled with piping sent down…the loss is significant and the machinery runs 24/7 in Winter to extract the tiniest of temp differential. Requires electricity NOT of the windmill/s-panel kind.
As for your scenario (industrial grade), never know…Musk managed to catch a returning booster in a pair of arms (aka ‘chopsticks’).
If PDJT and Team can unleash the power of innovation (aka get the Federal govt out of our lives) there is no telling how many inventive putterers in their workshops could advance geothermal in short order. Ex: Grandfather was a inventor and business owner (hospital bed curtain cubicle track systems), heard (if memory serves from his showing me too many moons ago) WW2 tanks needed a turret canopy cover/shield…sat at the dinner table with a pad and pen and designed a canvas one. The army bought the design and implemented it. Bureaucrats can never – have never – done that because they have no clue how (talking does not invent anything). They do know how to make a new reg or law that hamstrings innovation.
There’s a Michigan company called https://wellconnectgeo.com/ that utilizes your existing well to deliver heating and cooling to a forced air system.
I know people who love it. I had it quoted for my house at about $6k for the unit that also replaces the a-coils of your AC system.
But digging a well would run me in excess of $10K.
I didn’t see an ROI since I don’t think I’ll live that long or sell the house.
My son in Connecticut is on fuel oil and he would benefit, but then he’d have to install an air handler and ducting since he’s on a boiler.
Interesting…obviously the tech has improved (as expected). We prefer radiant over forced air so installed that in our place. The woodstove is backup and for ambiance, but with idiotic EPA restrictions changed year to year new stoves are not allowed to have a screen for open fires. Really stupid…so folks are buying used units that are still very efficient.
Here in Northern Nevada, geothermal fields proliferate. I can see two of them from my house and know of at least six more in a 100 mile radius. A combination of high water table and near-surface heat sources make commercial-grade geothermal a viable option. While the fields are large, they are nowhere as unsightly as Solar (also prevalent here) and wind (not so common here).
The Israeli company Ormat is a huge influence and developer in the area.
Bonus is natural hot springs in the middle of nowhere. Big watering trough to cool the hot water, they make for nice relaxing time.
“TikTok-grade charlatan weasel”
Love it.
I may be wrong, but my analyses (for whatever they’re worth) show me that we’re headed (over the next millenium or so) into a severe cooling period (“Ice Age”) contrary to the beliefs of the “waves of grain” (y’ ever notice in a wheat field that whichever way the wind’s ablowin’…)
I’m too old to start (unless there is a firm doing this already), but drilling a hole 3 miles deep and dropping a u-shaped stainless tube (and filling the rest with concrete or whatever) will provide very inexpensive heating throughout almost all of the western US and most of the eastern half, as well as (likely energy) generation; the first couple of holes will be expensive.
SMU Geothermal Labs provide nice thermal maps, but I don’t know how to add the link
Geothermal is a temporary solution being billed as a permanent solution.
–
Just look at Iceland, the place where, so far, geothermal seems to have worked the best. But…
–
Geothermal requires access to very active magma flows and/or weak spots giving access to said magma.
–
Guess what happens in areas that have very active magma and/or weak spots? If you say words like eruptions, well, yes. That is the problem. Mother Nature provides great heat but only in areas wherein Mother Nature is going to wipe out said areas.
–
Just like any other ‘green energy.’ It works great, until it doesn’t.
–
And, of course, then there’s what happens if said hot spot one is utilizing suddenly goes cold. Which happens.
–
Then there are issues with magma fluctuations, both in heat and in movement. Which happens.
–
Nukes and carbon-based fuels (nat gas, oil and coal) are the reliable suppliers.

RE: “Covid Psy-Op to generate Mass Psychosis….and it worked on the gullible and uninformed.”
The official framing of the mass formation (or mass psychosis) “phenomenon” is misleading and wrong in terms of what the whole true reality is. The false hope-addicted psychologist Dr. Desmet and his acolytes want you to believe this is “just some temporary occasional” madness by the masses when it is but a spike of a CHRONIC madness going on for aeons with “civilized” people: https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html
“Mass formation” frontman Desmet, a mainstream psychologist, has been spreading this whitewashed reality while he also failed to see that the PLANNED Covid Psyop is a TOTALLY deliberate ploy because he doesn’t think (after more than 1 year, 2 years, even 3+years, into this total PLANNED scam!) it’s ALL intentionally sinister as he stated in a prior podcast. This makes him witting or unwitting controlled opposition. It should be apparent that Desmet’s lack of truth-telling is then also present in his largely plagiarized truth-distorting mass formation theory.
In the May of 2022 podcast with James Corbett he stated that “some people tend to overestimate the degree of planning and intentions” (behind the COUNTLESS, VERIFIABLE, FULLY INTENTIONAL, FULLY PLANNED atrocities by the ruling tribe of psychopaths over the last century alone) and see all of it as being planned which Desmet called “an extreme position” … Sound logical thinking is “extreme” and therefore false and sick in his demented delusional view! As MLK pointed out…
“… normal and healthy discontent .. is being termed extremist.” — Martin Luther King, Jr, 1929-1968, Civil Rights Activist
Dr. Breggin too talked about how Dr. Desmet is protecting the ruling gang of psychopaths and that he has a history of doing so (https://www.americaoutloud.news/dr-breggin-speaks-out-about-dr-malones-25-million-dollar-lawsuit/ & https://archive.ph/xdfUz)! Others too picked up on that subsequently and presented solid evidence for Desmet’s IMMORAL/CRIMINAL behavior as a lapdog of the ruling cabal (https://archive.md/4hhpc).
In his overpriced misleading whitewashing old material regurgitated book the psychology of totalitarianism he too states that “There are countless … examples that seem to point in the direction of a plan being implemented, such as the fact that the definition of ‘pandemic’ was adjusted shortly before the coronavirus crisis; that the definition of ‘herd immunity’ was changed during the crisis, implying that only vaccines can achieve it … [he continuous with several other obvious facts of an ENTIRELY PLANNED event, especially discerned through the totality of all these facts].” “SEEM to point in the direction of a plan”??? No, not “seem”! They most evidently, clearly, and irrefutably DO demonstrate and prove it IS a COMPLETELY AND FULLY DELIBERATE PlanDemic! A big scam. An Entirely Planned Holocaust against the non-ruling herd of people (see https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html). A coherent 12-year old kid can figure that out. But not Mr. ‘I’m entitled to teach my deep wisdom to the world’ professor.
It clearly shows Desmet’s own complete lunacy. But because almost everyone in the culture is a member of mass formation (madness), including the “woke” people of the alternative media domain, hardly anyone recognizes Desmet’s lunacy. Not surprising that he has even become some type of popular “guru” among the adherents of the alternative media landscape and his whitewashed fake narrative strongly resonates with both mainstream people and alternative mainstream folks.
“All experts serve the state and the media and only in that way do they achieve their status. Every expert follows his master, for all former possibilities for independence have been gradually reduced to nil by present society’s mode of organization. The most useful expert, of course, is the one who can lie. With their different motives, those who need experts are falsifiers and fools. Whenever individuals lose the capacity to see things for themselves, the expert is there to offer an absolute reassurance.” —Guy Debord
As expected, “useful expert” Desmet has been also advocating and pushing the false misleading dogma-based non-scientific holy mantra of trust the official science … “everything and everyone should follow the scientific consensus” [https://archive.ph/9QRmw ] — meaning trust and follow the fabricated fraudulent official consensus science/”settled science” behind the Covid jabs that the killing of over millions of people around the world is based on(!!). Are you STILL wondering whom he’s wittingly or unwittingly serving? That’s why it’s no wonder he’s been heavily popularized globally by the dominant psychopathic world instead of censored and suppressed (as lots of truth-tellers have been), yet in his crafty stylish total hypocrisy and public misdirection ploy, he wants you to buy his belief that everyone should have a voice. Everyone BUT the true truth-tellers is what the reality is.
With his SUPPORT of the Covid holocaust-driving official consensus science he OKAYS and PROMOTES the idiotic herd Covid mass formation (the way the masses “think” and act)! Yet in his absurdity, irrationality and lunacy, with his mass formation/mass psychosis notion he frames the problem as the public being a mere unaccountable non-culpable victim in this phenomenon (the gist of the circular argument is: the masses should change their thinking but they got brainwashed so they’re victims). Nothing could be further from the truth (see first referenced source above).
With his false use of language Desmet also obscures or hides the true reality instead of directly and uncompromising exposing it — aiding the obfuscation of the vital reality of what the ruling authorities really are. He speaks of ‘the elite’ (as he does in a number of podcasts) when, in reality, they are THE SCUM OF HUMANS because they are REALITY-VERIFIED PSYCHOPATHS (see first referenced source above). Yet in the Corbett podcast he “teaches” us that we, the masses, need to start thinking differently. Right… how about YOU start with sane instead of insane thinking/talking/”teaching”/etc, Dr. Desmet?
How do self-styled “truth-tellers” wake up the masses to the so-called truth when they THEMSELVES use lies with their deceitful fake language???
No one is “teaching” or “waking up” the ignorant masses to the CORE truths with lies, with the official “language of lies” (see first cited source above).
This all means Desmet is ALSO a member of the masses of lunatics, an ACTIVE CARD-CARRYING MEMBER of mass formation!!! When, if at all, will he wake up from his state of mass psychosis, his “invisible” stupidity? When, if at all, will he face the TRUE and FULL reality instead of hiding behind fantasies such as his whitewashed “reality” of human civilization?
And nearly ALL of the “alternative media”, too, has been mindlessly spreading Desmet’s fake and misdirecting narrative endlessly…
“My experiences with “alternative media” have been, for the most part, just as dreadful as with the mainstream media. Most are unprincipled scavengers, shills and prostitutes, willing, and even eager, to sell out for ego-gratification and/or financial gain.” — Barbara Hartwell, CIA Whistleblower
It shows we live in a global mental asylum with criminal and/or delusional mainstream psychologists, scientists, and docs as the guards, “teachers” and “therapists” … The blind/criminal/mad leading the blind/criminal/mad; the blind/criminal/mad adhere to the blind/criminal/mad = the human madhouse.
In October of 2022, once a few people finally caught onto his public-misdirecting game he took no responsibility for it but dishonestly and conveniently framed himself as the victim of frivolous attacks against him — https://archive.ph/9QRmw
Desmet is right in that truth-activists must fight against mass formation psychosis (human madness). That also means exposing HIS deeply destructive mad part of it. This comment serves, in part, that objective.
“… doctors and scientists are now on the same lever of public confidence as the scum living in the swamp.” — Unknown in 2022

A: The Atlantic ocean was too expensive to project power across, so the tax collection cost more than it yielded.

Crypto-protected commerce could be an artificially created expensive ground like an ocean or a mountain range. There appears to be a widespread unstated assumption that human civilization will never invent Bitcoin 2.0 with more attractive properties. Feature suggestions include: 1) mint mark so issuer can declare they will exchange their coins for their commodities, 2) privacy that works despite the inevitable human mistake rate, 3) lower computing cost to run network. I suspect sufficient crypto math theory has been in existence since egold back in the 90’s.
A fun little “thought experiment” with that list of active SSNs and the ages. Without going farther than the first six lines (ages 100 to 159), add them up. Sidebar (then I gotta go weld the skid back onto the snowplow – heh): PDJT suggested the Federal government refund some of this “found” graft cash back to every taxpayer. I’m good with that…leading me into my next thought (lot’s of coffee this morning):
– As I stare at the “Tax Return” folder have decided to sit tight another week or two, might be a chance (please, please) the IRS goes away before April 15th and any work becomes unnecessary…well, save for State…but I’m okay with that. Heck, the Wyoming statehouse just voted to reduce Property Taxes 50%. Opposition forces said city “services” will falter as “revenues are reduced”. — So…takings is thievery.
Incidentally, the Wyo opposition group (D’s & R’s) was the same argument The Bern was making when attacking DOGE reductions from finding waste, fraud, and taxpayer abuse…I guess to that guy it’s okay to criminally use our tax dollars but more wrong to point it out and stop it. Demented, that one.
Now, how nice it would be if Colorado would follow suit. (Hey, a man can hope.)
” Federal government refund some of this “found” graft cash back to every taxpayer.”
Not a fan. Return it to the Treasury. Pay down the debt.
.
Colorado’s too busy going after your guns again.
Oh, he said that as well, 20% back to WTP, at least 20% to reduce the debt. It was a quip…but we know how he is with those, they become reality. I would rather have no Fed Income tax and the IRS gone.
*
Yup (Colorado)…and DrMrsPaulM just got notification that the State Vet’s office (her pal retired as State Vet when Polis came in) they are accepting non-vets for licensing (the short version), a complete disrespect to longtime DVM’s and the hard work it took to get there. They’re demented.
“All gone overnight,” says Kristina Drye, who was fired in the USAID shutdown.
Now Ms Drye may be a perfectly good person, I don’t know either way. But. Let’s let Roy Batty respond.

Quite an experience to live in fear, isn’t it?
Such a great scene from a great movie.
It tells much about higher education when you think of how many human hemorrhoids they turned out that ended in the media. The “Preparation H” required to shrink the number is for people to turn off the broadcasters that display them.
Gaza
Who would want Palestinians in their country? Aaron Cohen pointed out most of the October 7 invaders were civilians, not Hamas. Hamas were the spearhead but the followers were gleeful civilians.
There is a large land mass with no one to bother with them. Only problem is the long distance traveling south to get to it (ignore the ice & snow).
If they were tasked to live off the land on Greenland, the problem would soon solve itself.
Patel confirmed!!! 51 votes (McConnell was a ‘yes’, maybe his conscience got to him). Patel knows where the bodies are buried…1st up, Epstein’s Black Book…watch ’em scrambling like the rats they are, living off WTP’s confiscated wages, so we have the right to know.
SISU MAGA ™
(Gotta run and stock up on popcorn)
On hobnobbing with elites: So I shared an elevator (the way to bypass the boarding line at NYC Moynihan Train Hall) with three college kids. Two Chinese (who sounded totally ABC, but the ambulatory one had one of those awful PRC weedwhacker haircuts, so who knows) and a rather handsome goy-lad. The Chinese guys were freshmen at Harvard, majoring in Finance. The one in the wheelchair was openly cocky, dropping broad hints that he and his friend were already being headhunted by “someone I won’t name” in Manhattan. “I sure ain’t paying no fuckin’ $300 of my own money to ride Amtrak.”
—
Goy Lad proudly volunteered that he too was majoring in Finance. “Where do you go?” asked weedwhacker.
“Delaware,” quoth Goy Lad.
The two Chinamen shared a look, and after a pause, one said, “Delaware. Good place.”
—
I thought to myself, “Oh, but you have been heard, judged, dismissed, and dissed. All in the space of ten seconds. But Goy Lad beamed. He may be a great actor. Or he didn’t realize he’d been instantly reduced to The Thing You Scrape Off Of Your Shoe.
My second thought was, “Alla y’all are likely to be the sort of destructive parasites that are wrecking the nation while skimming the cream off of the top. You larval-elite fucks.” My third thought was, “Doesn’t matter HOW clever you are, wheelchair, unless you’re both a true genius AND lucky. You don’t belong to any of the right clans to make it to true power in your field.”

No, I’m not bitter. Why do you ask? 😃
It’s taken a big bowl of popcorn to catch up on the last few days of V.M. Looks more colorful and reads more informative than ever.
So, Trump wants to ” purchase ” Greenland. I vote yes. We can mine all the other planets later. He’s merely taking back over the canal. And now, low and behold the demo party done bought and paid for Ukraine with WTP taxes. Whatever resources we can extract from them, fine pay the debt down h/t Ed B. BUT my vote is that every red cent them Donkeys got back in “rebates” needs to be confiscated back and refunded to WTP, in person, then send ém walking the plank for insubordination.
The Hogg; has the Donkey Mascot ( lacking intelligence, strength, and often loud and stubborn) TRANZED into a swine? What’s the representations of a herd of Hogg’s? I’m not asking for a friend. I’m serious…lol
😁
Re geothermal, Iceland was doing pretty good with the Blue Lagoon until recently… Yes, I ‘wonder’ where all those old folks are getting their social security checks sent. And who is checking into that???
Places that draw on volcanoes for geothermal have more success than places who don’t have that option. I have no idea why that would be, but it’s the case.
no argument, but all you should need is an area that has 100°C to heat your fluid (water) even if it’s 3miles± down: do we have the (cheap) drilling technology?
SMU Geothermal Labs has a nice series of maps showing temps at several levels
I ‘think’ because the hot water is already AT the surface due to volcanic action, so it doesn’t have to be pumped from a subterranean location.
Reuters is so very, very awesome.
Love Juliette’s Liliac.
If you asked them, they’d say the same thing.
😂
