Making Sense of Life

Blog Post

Bullet Points:

** You said you were tired of Elsa, so I found Mamala – which makes sense because Kamala is allegedly a mammal. You never tire of that whine, do you?

** Florida Living with Boron. He left Oregon, and the crowds of woke warriors for Gaia and traveled to the safety of Florida and good weather.

** I have an emerging pet peeve (see captioned graphic above). AIs e-mail me, attempting to engage me and having me engage “them” whatever them is. I ignore them and attempt to block the sender, but they sometimes get through the firewall. It won’t be long before Elon’s Army of robots deliver the messages in person, and things will get frosty. (Yes, we all watched I-Robot)

** When is a charity a criminal enterprise? When Bill and Hillary Clinton run it. Pedo Joe Biden just took his 10% for the Big Guy and called it a day – far simpler.

** A discussion of “Low T” – is it a blessing or a curse?

** Boating with EdB is an adventure that is not to be missed. If EdB offers to take you on a cruise on the lake, don’t scream. He doesn’t care. Your cries and wails fall on deaf ears.

** Flying with EdB – the new modular passenger aircraft offers a solution to the inevitable conclusion when you fly with Ed. Giant hot dogs cushion your fall, and you can eat them (rather than other passengers) if you land on an uninhabited island. Ed thinks of everything when it comes to passenger comfort.

What about the Second Gentleman?

Some say he’s poised to be the First Gentleman, the second male to hold that position after Michael (Big Mike) Obama. Doug Emhoff isn’t a tranny (as far as I know). Second gentleman Doug Emhoff—lauded by the mainstream media as a “wife guy” who “redefines masculinity”—hired a part-time model as his “trophy secretary,” acted like an “asshole” and “misogynist,” and “retaliated against” young female staffers who “didn’t flirt back” with him while working at white-shoe law firm Venable, according to his former colleagues.

Former colleagues described Emhoff as an “asshole” and “misogynist” who held male-only, in-office “cocktail parties” and acted “very flirty” toward young female staffers. Those who responded negatively were added to his “s—t list.”

Sort of like a second cumming of Bill Clinton?

Guiding Hurricanes

I’m going out on a limb here and stating that neither the government nor anyone else (including the omnipotent and excessively powerful “they” – including Oz) can create, prevent, or manipulate hurricanes. It’s simply impossible, and claiming otherwise is silly and irresponsible.

Like most outlandish claims, this one is gleaned from a nugget of nuanced reality, perhaps specifically Project STORMFURY, an effort by the U.S. government to attempt “human interference and hurricane modification” during the Cold War. Experiments to weaken weather systems were conducted in the 1950s and 1960s, but they were not successful and were not continued.

Cloud seeding, lasers, or anything else cannot impact a hurricane’s enormous energy. We barely understand large storms enough to predict them, let alone create or manipulate them. To suggest so is a complete misunderstanding of basic science.

While weather modification efforts like cloud seeding exist, they aim to enhance precipitation and cannot create or steer large storm systems like hurricanes. Hurricanes require vast amounts of energy, primarily from warm ocean waters. The scale of energy needed to influence or generate a hurricane far exceeds current human capabilities. Even advanced technologies cannot replicate the natural processes that fuel these storms.

The fact that a Congressional representative could promote such nonsense is a complete and utter embarrassment.

Hurricane Memes of the Day

In their comments on the recent storms, the President and Vice President aim to generalize criticism of the government as “misinformation.”

They may latch onto ill-considered weather manipulation accusations from MTG or theories about lasers hitting Maui from space to create wildfires so Oprah can build a house by the water, as espoused by some on the Interweb.

But that is a smokescreen to camouflage the actual intent, limiting criticism of the government and our “Influential Progressive Class.”

A class (of self-described victims) that vectors and links across Government, The Permanent Unionized Washington Bureaucracy, Hollywood/Media, and Our University Academy (And if you think that’s a Maga-stretch, remember it was George Clooney who ordered the Code Red on Biden)

This is an end-around the First Amendment that the Worst Elements of our Political and Institutional Elite are simply not going to stop pushing for (Looking at you, Hillary and Kerry)

“Look, no one says you can’t criticize the government. But if experts the Government appoints or controls determine your opinion to be or contain misinformation, that obviously can’t be allowed because of Fires in Crowded theaters and stuff.”

This will be one of, if not the defining, political battles of the decades to come, particularly in our digital existence.

    1. The non-flying wing’s engines give it away. Single engine outboard, pair inboard. And a fighter style cockpit. Thus the B-47. Pretty plane.

  2. Future technologies – Speaking of weather manipulation and other nonsense…it makes for a story to bolster the “powers that don’t be”. “Vi kan do anything,”

Vaccines again (sigh) – One thing to actually watch for is a new type of vaccine…RP or “RNA Particle vaccine. (Ever heard of a Replicon?… not to be confused with a Leprechaun) It’s nothing like the “clot shot” great culling from those who shall not be named. This is actually a “good” way to “vaccinate” and my opinion is that it will be (and should be) used as a new platform for ALL future pathogen preventative measures. Targets dendritic cells only and behaves and stays only in the cytoplasm of the cell…Like it should. None of this dangerous nucleic acid manipulation. It’s been used successfully in animals for over 8 years (where economics drive the technology and swine flu changes or “drifts” daily)… they sure don’t want a bunch of dead pigs if their income is dependent on the number of live ones. (Follow the agricultural money)
Look it up if you’re interested in that type of thing.

  3. I have family members that believe hurricanes can be steered for nefarious reasons. I don’t try to argue with them, and discussions about contrails are just as futile. I love them dearly, but they are more willing to hold on to their beliefs than to make an effort to learn why they may be false.

    1. US patents.

      Weather Manipulation
      3056556 – October 2, 1962 – Method of Artificially Influencing the Weather

      1. And what you see is the issue with the modern Patent Office. You can file any bullscat fakery and hokery. Like Warp Drive, of which there’s a handful of different patents.

The winner, of course, goes to whomever successfully makes the faux patent actually work.

Why? The Patent Office figured out it was easier just to rubber-stamp applications and then let the various filers fight their fights in the various courts.

Not like the old days, where you actually had to prove your patent, either with a working model or by calculations and scientific proof.

I know how to make a ‘cyclone’ making machine. Whoooo. Will it actually make a giant trailer-park threatening killer storm? No. But it does demonstrate some of the basic principles of what a cyclone is. But the factors that make actual real trailer-park eating tornadoes and typhoons and hurricanes are way way way too varied and large scale for us to be able to affect. The power in even a small storm far exceeds what we can produce electrically or nuclearly.

  4. Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated Monday reminding us that weather modification has been around for centuries. If you read history books, young children or virgins were sacrificed to appease the weather gods. Some cultures had weather dances and other rituals to bring rain or hold off rain.

In the early and mid 80s Air Force officers wrote papers on war fighting that included dispensed slippery goo that would keep vehicles and soldiers from being able to fight, along with its counter part sticky goo that would make everything stick to anything else. Papers were also written on kinetic weapons that didn’t need explosives to do the job instead using gravity, precision guidance and a high release altitude to take care of the job. Additionally, papers were written on weather modification.

In the 90s, the top Air Force weather man was part of the Air Force Vision 2020 briefings on C-Span. He was quite clear that in the 90s the military could control battle field regional weather. His briefing didn’t get much attention because it wasn’t stealthy or explosive as were the other commander’s. That was 30 years ago, so today’s weather modification is possible with advanced technology.

    1. Good point…I think we have a long list who could be sacrificed to the weather god’s (small ‘g’)…even if it didn’t do anything substantive We The People would be a lot better off as a result.

    2. Indigenous Peoples Day – is that where we get to give each other blankets full of small pox and cut each others’ scalps off? Take lots and lots of slaves from across the street or from other towns? Where we get to move to an area and deplete it of all natural resources so badly that it takes 30 years or more to recover? Sacrifice others for our various local stupid deities, after we capture them and kill all who resist?

I prefer Columbus Day. Celebrate an Italian who convinced a monarchy, rich with the spoils a 700 year recovery from Islamic a-holes, that going West was going to find something, most likely India or the Far East. His only real failing was trusting ‘an expert’ about the circumference of the earth being only 18,000ish miles, rather than the much more massive 25,000 miles-ish that was correct and known since the Greeks figured it out.

      1. I suspect Columbus used the smaller value to minimize the risk to the Spanish crown. He likely had prior knowledge there was a land mass out there (he’d been to Iceland), but the only way to make the distance to India an attainable goal required a smaller Earth. IIRC, he died believing he’d made it to some part of India.

        1. That may have been the case, Larry (if that’s actually your name) =😳 Who’d name their kid, “Larry”? We’ll never understand the nuances given the culture of 1490s (even more devious than today) Though your concept makes sense. They had no understanding of Cathay/Japan and Pacific Islands even though Marco Polo (1271 and 1295) reported on them 200 years before.

(note) In 1543, after being blown off course, Portuguese traders on board a Chinese merchant junk on the way to the Chinese port of Ningbo arrived on the Japanese island of Tanegashima. The Portuguese onboard, António Mota and Francisco Zeimoto are considered the first recorded Europeans to have arrived in Japan.

Directing Weather- MTG is a bit of a nut, funny thing is she right half the time. But this? The government we have gotten – as demanded by urban center voters then foisted onto the rest of us Schlub’s who prefer our Constitution just the way it was written – can only do one thing well: Sow chaos while enriching themselves by and through criminal activity.

The Lightbringer thinks he’s a preacher preaching his preachiness to a fawning choir while his brainless protege VEEP/Installed Presidential Candidate has at least half a dozen phony dialects at her command. The Cooban one was the funniest. And one assumes the husband is a ‘gentleman” to begin with let alone “The 1st or 2nd”. The guy is another special class scumbag with privileges we are not afforded.

We do know EdB is a genius. I do like the idea of the airliner “escape pod”…except with Boeing going full DEI they can’t even design a proper door hinge. Maybe Musk will start an airline (not EV, maybe a hybrid, which would work, I think.

  6. Thanks for the section on steering hurricanes. Of all the crap being thrown around these days, it’s the one that makes me cringe the most. They show the path of the hurricane involved in some cloud seeding experiment done in the ’50s and the fact the storm went west in Georgia is somehow evidence that “weather modification” sent Helene over NC?
    .
There was a video a couple of days ago showing CBS News interviewing that physics professor Michio Kaku talking about using lasers to modify weather and implying Starlink satellites with their lasers for satellite-to-satellite communications are doing that. Twice in his interview, Dr. Kaku says “trillions of watts” of laser power. There’s no way that the entire Starlink constellation could come close to having that much power, let alone one or two satellites going over some cloud somewhere. That even makes Chemtrails sound sensible.

        1. He’s still more right most of the time than Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who has a PhD in Asshattery.

          1. Tyson isn’t Bill Nye, who isn’t the least bit science guy, but he’s in that ballpark. Tyson is more famous for being a negro than he is for publishing papers and being a scientist.

          2. Tyson proves himself right by saying “I’m NDGT, so there!” Not very scientific, more Galileo than Einstein. (Galileo was a known asshole of his era, and shouted down and attacked previous heliocentric theorists.)

    1. Michio Kaku cannot be trusted. He is in cahoots with TPTB and is merely trying to mislead us.

I’ve heard tell from VERY RELIABLE sources that Starlink is really a fusion-pumped X-ray laser system (X-rays, which is why we don’t see the beams) disguised as a communications array. Yes, it’s true. Compact, affordable net-positive fusion is here, and has been here for decades. It’s been suppressed by the same people who are suppressing the H2O-burning internal combustion engine that provides 5x more power, per volume of fuel, than the gasoline ICE. And the perpetual motion machine. And the foolproof morning-after anti hangover pill (“alkydote” in H. Beam Piper’s Terrohuman Future History).

In other totally believable news, Tim Walz is an accomplished hunter, and the uber-manly man that manly men wish they were. (And again, why are the pro-Kamala men in her commercials weirdos, wimps and freaks? And why are the women obese and unkempt creatures reeking of box wine and regret? But not cat piss, because even cats run away from them.)

    2. If Starlink was that powerful, the EPA, FAA, Labor Relations Board and other governmental agencies would be burnt down. And various ‘officials’ and bureaucrats and Jeff Bezos would all look like the guy in the lawn chair at the beginning of “Real Genius.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTx_qTwQqjU Here’s the clip for those who don’t remember.

      1. That Starlink thing would be cool. Now that America’s dead, working for Scorpio would
        be better than most alternatives.

    1. The problem with modular aircraft (or helicopters, like the Sky Crane) is that you never seem to have the modules you need at the place you want to pick them up and there’s no good way to get them from where they are to where you need except to go with a carrier and pick them up and dead head them to where you are.

Internal modifications can be made, like with the military airlift aircraft, wherein crappy seating can be stored and rigged when needed, but no normal civilian passenger will pay to fly on a canvas seat in an unheated aircraft with only basic needs (a pee-hole that goes outside) and no snacks or entertainment other than wishing the hell experience to end safely somehow, Oh, God, make it stop, please, I’ll never fly again, I’ll donate all my goods to the Church and join a monestary, please make it stop safely please….

      1. Maybe cause I was younger, those C-130, C-5 flights never bothered me.
I was grateful the time they ordered a C-5 filled with those seats at Frankfurt to clear the terminal of all the people waiting for space available to get home for Christmas.
        I barely remember the flight.

  9. You’re worried about an I-Robot scenario? I’m more worried about “Colossus: The Forbin Project”. Or, for those in the more “sensitive” world, a HAL9000 that cannot be trusted to keep a secret. A la, going psychotic at having to keep a secret on a scientific discovery mission, and killing the crew to keep the secret. 2001 Space Odyssey followed by 2010 explanation of HAL’s condition. Finding secrets and keeping them secret are two different issues.
OTOH, I’m stunned by SpaceX’s success this morning on their launch and recovery of Starship, formerly known as BFR.

      1. I just found a different view of the capture and the word “amazing” isn’t even close. Fscking awesome (full of awe), picture perfect, on the first try. Between this, and the double-landings of Falcon Heavy, it’s a good time to be alive.

          1. Amazing (not) what one can do in the private sector when not invoking DEI but hiring the best and brightest for the job at hand. Gee, what a concept.
–PS. We were all 12 year-olds watching that bit of history in the making. Have a town run this afternoon, wonder if the local do-dad shop still carries Estes Rocket kits…

    1. “Colossus: The Forbin Project” or “Skynet” from the good Terminator movies or even The Machines from “The Matrix.” Though considering how most of today’s software is so damn sloppy, a psychotic AI is entirely possible.

And, yes, SpaceX for the WIN! The recovery of the booster, of course, was the main event, but there were 5-6 cameras on Starship that gave real-time video via Starlink all the way to splashdown and boom. That level of connectivity is incredible. No Loss of Signal when entering the atmosphere, always one of the critical terror-points of previous and some current space vehicles.

  10. “The fact that a Congressional representative could promote such nonsense is a complete and utter embarrassment.”
The fact that a Congress-critter promotes anything is a guarantee of nonsense.

  11. Navy birthday today…

Ed B … maybe have a cup of coffee and a donut before you step off the porch…

  12. We can manipulate the weather in small doses. Cloud seeding and such. It’s why the prisoners weren’t in Son Tay Prison when the Son Tay Raiders made their famous raid, and only having one wounded, a bum ankle, from purposefully hard landing a friggin Jolly Green right in the middle of the prison. We also used it somewhat during the airwar over Japan to cause flooding and destruction of farms, and would have gone much heavier into it if we decided to just blockade the Isles and starve the Imperial Japanese to death.

We can’t even stop a simple dust devil smallish water spout, let alone stop an F1 tornado.

Some people will believe anything except the truth. Then again I know at least 2 actual NASA Engineers (both moved on to other programs) who firmly believe we didn’t make it to the Moon with Apollo-Saturn because we are too bureaucratically stupid to do it now. And one of them filed a patent for a warp drive and believed, until I pointed it out to him, that a simple magnetic ion thruster was an actual ‘warp drive’ model. Bwahahahahahahaaha. Saying a high school science fair project is warp drive. Sigh. Makes you wonder about the quality of NASA employees. (Then again, he firmly admitted that his bosses used him as the “NO” voice in every meeting, thus killing any real innovation or achievement in manned-flight by NASA. Yeah, he’s a dirtbag, too.)

  13. Just read yesterday that since finding the body of Columbus and his son ,researchers have decided the family was from the Levant ,eastern Mediterranean blood lines. Columbus was a Jew.

    1. No, Columbus was of Jewish origins. He was Catholic, a practicing and very catholic Catholic.
      -C
Proof? Simple. No just-converted Conversos or a hidden Jew would have been allowed to that level of the Spanish Court or to serve as leader of a Spanish Royal Expedition in 1492, since Spain just finished reconquering all of Spain and having to deal with fake Catholics right and left, fake Catholic actual Muslims and fake Catholic actual Jews. The Spanish court would inspected the pedigree of Columbus, and done so with the Church’s help, which is the origin of the dreaded Spanish Inquisition, whose purpose was finding people who said they were Catholic but weren’t.

If you were the Spanish Crown, would you, after finally winning in a 700 year struggle against the forces of evil, give money to one of your enemies to do work for you? No.

Now, could Columbus be of ethnic-Jewish origins? Sure. Lots of cross-breeding over the years and especially in Italy where the conversion of Jews to Christianity started way before Spain started it.

If you’re going by ‘dna evidence,’ a good number of central and eastern Europeans, and a reasonable number of western Europeans, have Mongolian DNA in them. Does that make them all Mongolians? No. Therefore just because Columbus may have Jewish DNA in him, doesn’t make him a Jew.
