South Coyote Buttes
Ray Downs (photo credit) captured the essence of the place. Coyote Buttes is a Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness section managed by the Bureau of Land Management. It spans extreme south-central Utah and north-central Arizona, south of US 89, halfway between Kanab, Utah, and Page, Arizona. If you’re interested in geology, it’s a fun place to tramp – a little over a 3.5-hour drive from the White Wolf Mine if you’re not afraid to stretch the speed limit slightly. It’s big country, not unlike Texas, where the distances, the space, and the spirit of the place can overwhelm you if you’re not careful.
If you recall the feature film The Outlaw Josie Wales (based on the book of the same name, which is recommended), the desert scenes were filmed in this area.
Pro Tip to Exploration: Most areas are in the public trust or covered by BLM. Even so, the government sometimes gets it into its head to restrict travel and to lock gates that should be left unlocked. The US Army Corps of Engineers is in the area occasionally and has its marked padlocks. I tried to get a master key to their Medeco padlocks. They declined. The only solution was to have my own made and stamped. Can anyone tell the difference? Only when they try to unlock them.
Wave Harmonics (the Ghost in the Shell)
The top image is a graph of the first nine harmonics of a harmonic series. The bottom image is an X-ray of the inner structure of a conch shell.
The mathematical resemblance between the harmonic series and the logarithmic spiral of a conch shell is rooted in the way both systems exhibit proportional growth. In sound, the harmonics follow integer ratios, while in the conch shell, the spiral grows logarithmically. Both represent natural growth and structure patterns underpinned by the mathematics of ratios, logarithms, and scaling. This relationship is a beautiful example of how mathematics connects seemingly unrelated natural phenomena, like sound and the shape of a shell, through underlying proportional laws.
H-100
The Hirsch H-100 was a small twin-engine experimental aircraft built in France by René Hirsch to test an aerodynamic gust suppression system. The plane flew for the first time in 1954. The system worked well, but due to lack of investment, it was not developed.

Bomber Design
The concept became known as the “75 Ton Bomber.” Serious consideration of Very Large Bomber Studies began within the Air Staff in August 1942. Type C was initially designed with a six-turbojet configuration but underwent a design revision in 1943 because its original design was deemed unsatisfactory due to issues with stability, inadequate armament, and limited range.
The 75 Ton Bomber represented one of the most ambitious design efforts undertaken by the British aircraft industry. However, as studies progressed, it became evident that such an aircraft could not be developed in less than five years. Furthermore, achieving the right balance between range, defensive armament, and bomb load proved challenging. Additionally, the success of the Avro Lancaster diminished the necessity for such large bombers.

I’ll note that exigent circumstances allow warrantless entries. NYPD may have a policy that overrules the accepted national legal standards.

Remember the Shelley Joseph case? Joseph was a Massachusetts District Court Judge. An illegal called Jose Medina-Perez was brought before Joseph in Newton, MA in 2018 on narcotics charges. His fingerprints indicated he had been deported from the US previously in 2003 and 2007. There was an ICE detainer on JMP and an ICE officer was present in the courtroom. Judge Joseph ordered the ICE officer to leave the courtroom and wait in the lobby. He was told that JMP would leave the courtroom through the lobby. JMP was eligible to be released on bond, which Joseph allowed. The court audio recording system was then mysteriously [1] turned off, and court officer Wesley MacGregor took JMP out of the building through the basement at 3:01 PM, bypassing the lobby and the ICE officer, who waited in the lobby until the court closed at 4:30pm.

In April 2019 Joseph and MacGregor were indicted on charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice, aiding and abetting obstruction of justice and obstructing an official proceeding. They pleaded not guilty. The Mass Supreme Judicial Court then suspended Joseph without pay, but the State of Massachusetts paid $127k of her legal fees prior to her indictment. In August 2019 the Mass SJC reinstated her salary ($181k plus benefits) plus $51k in back pay, though she remained in suspension. In September 2022 all charges were dropped against Joseph. She was reinstated as a judge in November 2022.

I talked to a lady last weekend who was an advisor to a number of presidents on Islamic issues including Obama and she said that he told her that he’s not Islamic but rather a humanist. I still believe he was heavily influenced by Islam in his childhood.
Now that it’s real has launched on Iran, I wonder how accurate the leaked reports were?
Either way, Iran knew they were coming. Their Russian equipment can’t do much to stop the missiles from finding their targets. They didn’t launch for a national decapitation.
Ariane Tabatabai was outed in foreign media just after the leak was announced. Ironic that NO US media mentioned her name until a couple of days ago… And yes, they DO have people on the inside of our government, no telling now deeply, nor in how many critical positions.
The appointees must not need to clear a background investigation.
She deserves the Rosenberg treatment. Since she’s single and they were double, resuscitate her after the first lightning ride and then do it again.

Government grows exponentially, by x% more control each year. The cost of living growth is one measure, but in reality is higher because technological growth should be lowering it. Humans like to predict trends as linear growth, but exponential growth becomes intrusive only in the last few generations before the crisis, which are past the perceptual “corner”.
