According to a February 23 announcement on the WeChat official account of the Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok, the Consulate General reminds Chinese citizens within its jurisdiction to note new regulations on the processing of long-term residence permits in Russia.

So I’m a little old and slow. There are headlines about a California judge stoping the cancelation of 20k illegal truck driver licenses. If we know enough to cancel the license, why don’t we just deport them? I would also make it illegal to sell them insurance and enforce the existing laws against employers and make it a drivers license a requirement to buy over 30 gallons of fuel. Just have the pump shut off with AI. That would then open the door to depriving the political opposition to no fuel. I did not see that coming but if it is possible it will happen. Too much early thinking.
There will always be a woke/communist judge in America (somewhere) doing these sorts of things until the Supreme Court sorts that out. The illegal license cancellation matter will be reviewed at the appellate level and overturned in time. The donkeys are playing for time, hoping against hope that they can regain power. The AI restricting fuel purchase could be turned against all “republicans” who want to buy more than 5 gallons…I’m not sure I like the precedent.
It will take time to eliminate illegal drivers; attrition will help. Impound trucks and their loads will hit the brokers hard who are necessary for the shady operators to get work. With no investigating background I don’t know how to do it but mass scanning of LLCs for common addresses might identify both bad operators and welfare fraudsters. While attending to Mr Bladder at truck stops, I see advertisements for financial services offering to pay drivers for their invoices. Perhaps investigate these financial services?

Neill, An officer under Houston who had served in the U.S. Army and was known for his professional training, having previously commanded at the Alamo. James Fannin, while not present at San Jacinto (he was defeated at Goliad), had attended West Point, although he dropped out before graduating. There were others as well. Classic military educations at the time required the study of classic battles. It was heavily focused on Napoleon, but they included Crusader battles.
I had forgotten about Hockley and Neill. Thanks much for reminding me. Fannin and his men were massacred at Goliad, save a few lucky ones who managed to escape; his defeat was on the prairie (Battle of Coleto Creek) whilst marching away from Goliad having failed to march on the Alamo as ordered before it fell.

When I was a kid growing up in the RGV in the 50’s/60’s, children were taught about the Texas Revolution before being exposed to Washington and Jefferson and some people who did some things Back East. I don’t know how they teach Texas history now but am convinced that xenophobia is a terrible thing to waste.
