Dominica is a mountainous Caribbean island nation with natural hot springs and tropical rainforests. Morne Trois Pitons National Park is home to the volcanically heated, steam-covered Boiling Lake. The park also encompasses sulfur vents, the 65m-tall Trafalgar Falls, and the narrow Titou Gorge. To the west is Dominica’s capital, Roseau, with colorful timber houses and botanic gardens.
That sounds inviting, doesn’t it? Dominica sits in a strategic location in the Caribbean and it’s now a wholly owned subsidiary of the People’s Republic of China. I suspect that you didn’t hear about it on the news – but the news today isn’t what it once was. It’s a propaganda machine for the administrative state/swamp and it supports the aims and goals of the Party (Democrat Party’s National Committee).
Over 60,000 Chinese now live in Dominica and they’re displacing the natives financially, who move to other islands or they immigrate across the open border into the United States where they receive a generous $3K/mo subsidy and free ObamaPhone.
Dominica is serviced by two airports: Douglas-Charles (DOM), formerly known as Melville Hall and Canefield (DCF) Airports. Most visitors to Dominica will arrive through Douglas-Charles, the larger of the two airports. Chinese military aircraft, defensive and offensive missile systems, and a garrison suitable to protect their interests have not yet arrived, but it’s only a matter of time. Meanwhile, a heavy construction services company, China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group Co. Ltd., has been recently awarded the contract to construct Dominica’s first international airport spearheaded by MMC Development Ltd., the developing firm of Dubai-based company Montreal Management Consultants.
To be fair, I didn’t understand the full extent of Chinese involvement in Dominica until I learned in conjunction with my business that they “stashed” a high-value asset on the island, secretly. My initial response to the placement of the asset was to simply snatch it since possession is nine points of the law (an expression meaning that ownership is easier to maintain if one has possession of something, or difficult to enforce if one does not). The Chinese understand the concept clearly. Ok, so a little more digging and the People’s Liberation Army has a special forces battalion (Leishen Thundergod Commando Airborne BN) in Mufti that is “training” on the island. It changed the calculus.
The Monroe Doctrine is no longer alive and well in Washington DC. China pays to play.
