The EU is simply the modern iteration of the eternal battle between and goals of Charlemagne’s grandsons. Very focused on European power and concerns. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a global view, but it is mostly focused on consolidating European power first.
Combined with an ever-present mercantilist caucus that is driven by the same incentives that brought many EU nations so entwined with Russia prior to the Russo-Ukrainian War, you have a certain dynamic at work.
Culling the Herd
The white cisgender patriarchy in the military has to go in favor of a more compliant, more grievance-friendly group with a more flexible moral compass.
“Cut off the head, and the body dies,” as the maxim goes. Leaders who are willing to buck the system are being removed – there is no place for toxic masculinity in the queen berets.
Rome faced many external threats, whether from the Huns, the Visigoths, the Vandals, or any number of groups who wanted to take down the Roman Empire. But those groups were never able to take Rome when it was strong. It was not until Rome had weakened from a thousand self-inflicted cuts that it was defeated once and for all.
Selective Prosecution
(link) In 2017 the the FBI raided the offices and intercepted the communications of Chi Ping “Patrick” Ho, a Chinese national suspected of espionage who was a business partner with Hunter and Jimmy Biden. Patrick Ho was later put on trial and found guilty of bribing government officials around the world to advance the interests of the Chinese Communist Party.
The crooked Department of Justice hid Hunter Biden’s connections with Patrick Ho during his trial and even redacted Hunter Biden’s name from the evidence documents.
Quite an eclectic assortment of posts and links. I hate to say it but things may come to a time where the organized army’s and police forces are aligned against the populace. If so. I hope we have a Bjorn Ironside.
Surprised that you even brought up the purported crimes of Mr. Biden. He is after all a great artist and is absolutely innocent of all crimes so the DOJ won’t waste their valuable time investigating and prosecuting him. There are parents complaining to school boards to investigate.
Those parents who complain at school board meetings are the real Public Enemy #1 in America. They need to be scourged and the FBI is stepping up to the plate.
It’s all good Ed, even Fox is saying so now their last hold out/defiant truth-teller has been sent packing back to his place in Maine…even plugged a Lefty Democrat into his old slot to make sure the perception management continues without question.
The current Labour Party (left wing) national government in Australia just announced a tripling of legal immigration. Mainly from Asia. Also lowering the skills required eg doctor, electrical etc.
Historically such groups vote for them.
I don’t think much of former Prime Minister Howard (1996 gun ban) but the put all illegal immigrants on offshore island then think about it policy worked.
Letting them loose on temporary visas didn’t.
The idea of sticking people on a remote island to get rid of them is, for some reason, deeply ingrained in the Australian people.

Frankly, I’m tired of hearing how there are so many good FBI field agents and it’s only the top echelons that are bad. I’d a found another job by now.
I don’t know of any “good” field agents. Maybe some of this blog’s readers know of some. When I was in the business years ago there were good and honest FBI special agents but that was then. Today, you’ll have to sell your soul to do the bidding of the curs.
Obviously Ed B hasn’t watched Hannity in a few moons…doncha know the rank and file are AWESOME, it’s just a micro-few rogue administrators at the top giving the Free Bail for Instigators a bad image.
Hannity sold out. He has good swamp creds while tossing his football around and pretending to be an outsider.
Fox and its shareholders made a LOT of money by taking the position of “loyal opposition” – but they did too good of a job and they’re back in the fold.

A guy I know who does ancestry says a large majority of the population can trace their lineage back to Charlemagne. All the other lines starved.
One branch of the family is French so maybe….
I’m not talking genetics, I’m talking psycho-cultural heritage and self-identification. To be European (and white) is a position of privilege and exploitation. Therefore The Best People emphasize the parts that are neither European nor white. Jussie Smollett’s father for example was most definitely not white (from his own mouth). Noel Ignatiev (“treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity”) was not white. And so it goes.
We’re all the descendants of “barbarians” of one sort or another. One thing you can say for them is that they were all strong enough to live long enough and well enough to have children who lived and thrived long enough to have children who lived and thrived. I realize that’s not a very woke thing to write.
So “Patrick” is the spy version of Ghiselle? Found guilty of bribing and collusion, but what about the people he bribed and colluded with? (insert sounds of crickets being offed by the Clintons…)
