It’s Sunday, and that means that it’s time for the Sermonette. To make it easier for you heathens to take the morals of the story from this polemic, they are highlighted in red.

Life on the mean streets of Tijuana isn’t worth much. I was speaking with a mexican lawyer this past week while I was down there. He told me that one of his clients was gunned down on the steps to his office as the client arrived to pay the agreed fee. He maintains that there was no connection between the arrival to pay what was owed and the assassination. A picture from the newspaper is referenced (above right) for you.
You’ll notice that passers-by take it all in stride – another carcass riddled with bullet holes bleeds out on the stairs of an office building in Zono Rio (River District) – a relatively nice area populated by professional offices.
I asked if he was able to recover the fee from the corpse before the police arrived. “Of course,” he said, “I wouldn’t be much of a lawyer if I couldn’t do that.” Truer words were never spoken. I asked him to send me the photo for the blog. And now I’m sharing it with y’all.

Yes, I still do work in Latin America. And no, it’s not safe. But it’s not as dangerous as it would be for me to work for the Clinton Campaign.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls.
It tolls for thee.”

The photo (left) is from a dust up that I had in Los Mochis, Sinaloa in February of this year. The narco was ended with a double-tap to the chest and then head shot before he could get a round off. It’s always best to shoot first and ask questions later when you’re in the badlands.

Speed is fine but accuracy is final.
They say that you never hear the bullet that takes you out. The Golden BB.

Despite all of that, Tijuana is a safer area than Chicago (home of Barack and Michelle) is. Chicago’s body count is higher than Juarez and Tijuana combined. But Chicago is far more progressive because it’s run by the Democratic Party Machine – which has a lot in common with a drug cartel. And oh, by the way, guns are illegal in Mexico.

Moving on to God’s Work

This is Mr. Trump’s Solution to the Swamp (link). I’m serious. This will fix the problem.

“…Nearly all intelligence officials who are fired, retired, pushed out, or resign from the intelligence agencies keep their security clearances. I do not know the specifics of any individual’s clearances but it is nearly certain that opponents of the current administration such as John Brennan, an aggressive Trump critic; James Clapper, who warns that Trump causes an “internal assault on our institutions”; Michael Morell, author of “I Ran the CIA. Now I’m Endorsing Hillary Clinton”; and recently fired leaker James Comey retain top-level security clearances.

“Security clearances are a deep state guild or union card allowing the holders to swan about intelligence facilities, chatting, gossiping, and gathering intelligence that they can leak to journalists.”

Pull security clearances on the deep state has-beens who don’t need them and tell them to go out and prune the roses.

  1. Life is cheap in many places, and not all those places are outside our borders.

Why don't they pull those security clearances as part of the processing out.

Aren't you getting a little long in the tooth to be putting yourself in harms way? Be careful, those grandkids need you.

  2. To illustrate your point about retaining security clearances:
I’m Not Making This Up, You Know
Hillary Clinton still has a security clearance.

I naively expected that she would have lost it, after the discovery of the bathroom server(s), or the deletion of 35,000+ emails.

  3. Long in the tooth? Me?

It's a job and it pays well, Brig. I've been doing this same sort of thing my entire life. But yes, there is a sunset to all of this, and it's not that far off.

  4. She's one of the elites. I don't know how else to frame the matter. She's completely irresponsible, yet she has a security clearance. If she was "one of the little people", her clearance would have been stripped and she would be in prison making little rocks out of big ones.

All pigs are equal but some are more equal than others. This is the problem with the Deep State.

  5. Hi LL. I know this is a different post. Wasn't sure how far back you go to look at your comments. Peaky blinders is great! Usually binge watch if there is anew season. Always telling people to watch. Also like the last kingdom. There's a new season I have not watched yet but I will. Like your blog. Thanks

  6. Boycott Steven Colbert! He was Disgusting and degrading to our President and now to our First Lady, and to everyone else in their family . Patriotic Americans are fed up with the low intelligence and morals our news media is providing. They have no awareness of the loyalty, morals and pride of Americans fighting to keep our country free. It's very sad! What a mountain of ill-mannered, despicable trash is being dumped on Americans everyday. Don't you all have enough intelligence to recognize you're being manipulated? Everyone disrespecting our country, in any way, should be held accountable. Freedom of speech is precious to us all. When someone is maliciously attacking our President and his family, it should be firmly addressed. Our freedoms are based on respect for one another another. When there is no dignity and pride, our freedoms are not respected and we begin to lose our freedom.

  7. I'm watching TRAVELERS on Netflix now. I hear there is a Season 2 of that one in the offing. As to Peaky Blinders, it's just a well written, well acted, well executed series and finding that is rare. Band of Brothers was another well written/acted/executed series, but not better than Peaky Blinders. More on a par.

  8. Oh my God! Are you insane? Oh yes, I forgot for a minute.
I got you covered, Wolfman, but keep your wits about you.

  9. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. Based on THAT standard (alone), I'm sane.

  10. It's a lot like pounding your head on the wall…it feels so good when you quit.

Be careful out there. I know you're "old for a reason" and all that, but like you say, you never hear the one that gets you.

  11. Chicago alias Chiraq top the list. Chicago now accounts for more than 55.1 percent of the total increase in urban murders — up from an earlier projection of 43.7 percent. I am not sure about all the reasons for this democratic strong hold not having any success in reducing crime, but Rahm has complained about soft judges. goo.gl/AiwT3a

  12. By way of apology and a statistical adjustment, I've been made aware that in 2016, Chicago had
    762 murders
    3550 shooting incidents
    4331 shooting victims

During the same year, Tijuana (a city of roughly half the population of Chicago) had 910 homicides. Therefore I was wrong in my statistical quotes. Sorry.

While some progressives were crowing that TJ's murder rate is higher than Chicago's and that you're clearly safer in Chicago than in Tijuana, they neglected to note that the murder rate in Chicago in 2016 was the highest in 19 years and was nothing to be proud of. The progs likewise were unhappy at the suggestion that President Obama could have done something and did nothing.

  13. The way things go, they'd lock Crooked Hillary up and allow her to retain her security clearance and access.
