Let me take you back – perhaps back to the future, when the Democrats led by Nasty Nancy Pelosi were trying to get a two trillion dollar plague relief bill passed.

Speaker Pelosi is an 80 year old career politician who is one of the wealthiest people in the House of Representatives, currently serving as Speaker of the House, and representing a San Francisco district.

The Covid Stimulus Bill didn’t pass. Why is that?

HR 748 from 116th Congress.

Facts: American population: 330,483,530

Stimulus bill: $2,000,000,000,000 ($2 Trillion)

Dividing the cost by every in America is $6,051.74

The cost born by the public, naturally won’t benefit the taxpayers because the Washington Swamp doesn’t work like that.

Here is where the money was intended to go if the Bill had passed. It was intended to buy votes for the democrat party, the party of pigs.

$300,000,000 for Migrant and Refugee Assistance (pg 147)

$10,000 per person for student loan bailout

$100,000,000 to NASA, (why?)

$20,000,000,000 to the Post Office because a lot of it ends up in the Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) family account. Her husband has the exclusive right to buy and sell property for the US Postal Service. It made him many times a billionaire.

$300,000,000 to the Endowment for the Arts – for liberal artists.

$300,000,000 for the Endowment for the Humanities/ because no one even knew that was a thing.

$15,000,000 for Veterans Employment Training because the GI Bill isn’t enough?

$435,000,000 for mental health support – ambiguously apportioned.

$30,000,000,000 for the Department of Education stabilization fund/ because that will keep leftists employed (all those zeros can be confusing, that’s $30 BILLION)

$200,000,000 to Safe Schools Emergency Response to Violence Program

$300,000,000 to Public Broadcasting, another wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC

$500,000,000 to Museums and Libraries. Which museums and which libraries – it is money that goes to a democrat slush fund.

$720,000,000 to Social Security Administration, primarily to pay administration costs.

$25,000,000 for Cleaning supplies for the Capitol Building. It’s on page 136

$7,500,000 to the Smithsonian for additional salaries.

$35,000,000 to the JFK Center for Performing Arts.

$25,000,000 for additional salary for House of Representatives.

$3,000,000,000 upgrade to the IT department at the VA.

$315,000,000 for State Department Diplomatic Programs. It will end up in the hands of Hamas and other terror groups under a Biden Administration.

$95,000,000 for the Agency of International Development

$300,000,000 for International Disaster Assistance

$90,000,000 for the Peace Corp pg 148

$13,000,000 to Howard University pg 121

$ 9,000,000 Misc. Senate Expenses pg 134

$100,000,000 to Essential Air carriers pg 162 This of note because the Airlines are going to need billions in loans to keep them afloat.

$40,000,000,000 goes to the Take Responsibility to Workers and Families Act This sounds like it is direct payments for “workers”. Pg 164 Which workers do they refer to? It’s not disclosed.

$1,000,000,000 Airlines Recycle and Save Program pg 163

$25,000,000 to the FAA for administrative costs pg 165

$492,000,000 to National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) pg 167

$526,000,000 Grants to Amtrak to remain available if needed through 2021 pg 168 (what are the odds that doesn’t go unused)

Hidden on page 174 the Secretary has 7 days to allocate the funds & notify Congress.

$25,000,000,000 for Transit Infrastructure pg 169

$3,000,000 Maritime Administration pg 172

$5,000,000 Salaries and Expensive Office of the Inspector General pg 172

$2,500,000 Public and Indian Housing pg 175

$5,000,000 Community Planning and Development pg 175

$2,500,000 Office of Housing

It reminds me of the $800 billion that went to the Obama/Biden stimulus bill in the previous administration, aimed at “shovel ready jobs.” It created somewhere around 25 jobs nationwide and there was a sunset on those jobs.

Your tax dollars at work.

  1. A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you’re talking real money. Everett Dirksen Senator from Illinois.

  2. Another $6K+ for every man, woman, and child in the country. No worries, our great-great-great-great grandchildren will take care of it.

    • The Green New Deal, if implemented, would raise that to $70K for every person in the country. However since we only have 7 years left to live because of global warming….

  3. It’s always a good practice to divide large spending proposals by the number of citizens or (even more fun) by the number of taxpayers.

    I didn’t know that about Feinstein’s husband.

    Another good column, LL.

  4. The list of pork had many things that made me say, “shouldn’t that be done in their regular budget?” Stuff like money to the FAA for administrative costs, Amtrak, “Salaries and Expensive Office of the Inspector General”, AID, Peace Corps, and on and on.

She’s incapable of creating a bill without crap like this in it.

    • The pig donkeys thrive on doing things like this. It’s like so many things where your power rests on your ability to scam. Nancy, at 80 years, made many hundreds of millions in contributions (hard money and soft money) from politics. Her salary doesn’t even keep her in designer ice cream.

    • Both Republicans and the pig donkeys are guilty of running up the debt through mismanagement and fraud. Sometimes I think that we could replace Congress with trained chimps and end up with a more workable result.

  5. Well, a lot of people could have used that $6k directly.

Like when all the banks got bailed out and then foreclosed on all the people they fucked because fed regulations said they could. If the money went directly to paying off a portion of all those fucked up loans instead of directly to the bank, a lot more people would have been able to keep their houses.

Fucking bailout shit. Fuck. Kill the fuckers. Kill them dead.

    • A lot of people did get that $6K (and more!) directly, Beans – people in the Congress and their cronies and sycophants.

Whee, graft. It’s what makes the world go around.
