** How odd. For over two hundred years, the lower courts have consistently reversed their rulings and followed the Supreme Court’s decisions without issue. Still, now they seem to be “confused” about how to reconsider and modify their overturned rulings. I doubt that the Supreme Court has changed the manner in which it writes its opinions and issues its directions, but all of a sudden, certain appeals justices find themselves at a loss. I have to wonder why. BTW, the word “admonish” headline is highly inaccurate as to the nature and manner in which the concerns were expressed, but how much more salacious is it to imply that the lower courts can “admonish” the higher court?
When the High Court sends the case back to the appellate court for a ruling, it generally does not tell the lower court what its decision on the question is or should be. Still, it allows the court to make findings of fact and law upon which the lower court can fashion the decision that the Supreme Court can comment on when and if it comes back to them.

When there’s a killing, the left always tries to assign the killer to the right. We’re used to it. And the vast majority of the right always overwhelmingly condemns the killer.
Only this time, all the moderate normie republicans out there saw MILLIONS of liberals celebrate and justify the brutal murder of a man… all because that man held beliefs similar to theirs. These are beliefs that regular Americans consider completely normal and common sense.
These regular folks were going about their day, then they saw some shocking brutality, and before they could even process it all, their liberal friends were dancing in the blood and gleefully justifying it. “He deserved it for believing X and Y.” And that normal person realized that they also believe X and Y, so them getting murdered would be just as celebrated too. At best, they saw a “Murder is bad, BUT… he deserved it for believing X and Y.”
And the lights go on.
It doesn’t matter how hard the left scrambles to put the shooter in some particular ideological bucket to cover their asses and take no blame (as usual), because regular America saw how fucking gleeful libs were when somebody just like them dies horribly. They realized that the left wants them dead. Not metaphorically. They want you to die. Some of us have known this for a long time because we pissed off the left somehow previously, but for the regular folks, coming to that understanding is a life-changing moment.

The Left
It’s helpful to remember the line from Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn – a great man who knew more about the evils of totalitarian leftism than any of us – to wit, “The battle line between good and evil runs through the heart of every man.”
That truth doesn’t excuse or prevent us from trying to honestly judge the varying degrees of evil or corruption in competing groups or ideologies. And I think it’s just demonstrably true that the left has a real problem with its own base, in the form of a sick propensity to embrace and justify political violence.
Consider the most significant recent examples of serious violence that were politically motivated. There have been three mass movements of organized, long-lasting political rioting in the last 5 years, all propagated by those on the left: the BLM riots, the Antifa riots, and the recent anti-ICE riots in LA and several other cities. The first two continued for months, causing billions of dollars of damage, killing dozens of people, and injuring thousands more, in cities all over the country.
When it comes to individual attacks, we’ve got the shooting attack on the GOP softball practice that nearly killed Steve Scalise; two assassination attempts on Trump in the span of a few months; the attempted burning to death of Jews in Boulder, and the murder of the young Jewish couple in DC; the mass shootings of Christian school children in Nashville and again in Minneapolis; the murder of the health insurance CEO by back-shooting coward Luigi Mangioni; and now the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
What counter-balancing examples are there from the political right? When it comes to group violence, the only one killed on January 6th was a Trump supporter, murdered by a leftist negro acting under color of authority. When it comes to individual attacks, the only ones I’m aware of were the shooting of Gabby Giffords, the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi, and the three democrat office holders recently murdered in Minnesota. And none of those turned out to be committed by right-wingers for recognizable political motivations.
Gifford’s shooter, a democrat, was mentally ill, believing among other things that “the government was controlling people’s minds by controlling their grammar,” that the Mayan calendar apocalypse was imminent. Pelosi’s attacker was a schizophrenic homosexual “call-boy”, intermittently homeless, commune-dwelling hippy.
Many Democrats scream about white supremacists throughout the GOP. But they are either lying, delusional, or both. Because when you examine their claims, it turns out that in their world, “white supremacist” means anyone who opposes racial discrimination of any kind, and supports the constitution, merit-based hiring, hard work, punctuality, and every other good thing under the Sun.
BLM and Antifa might not speak for ALL Democrats, but they certainly speak for the majority of the most energetic democrat base. The central views which can be found in any of their manifestos, speeches, banners, or chanted slogans – the condemnation of free-market capitalism, of America as irredeemably racist, and of the “evil” rich, along with disdain for straight people and white people and the police – have been commonplace in the last half-dozen DNC platforms and democrat presidential candidacies. Steve Scalise’s shooter was a mainstream Bernie bro and campaign volunteer. The Muslim Jew-murderers in Boulder and DC (and elsewhere) are no more anti-Semitic than the jihad enthusiasts in the Squad. Trust-fund coward Mangioni is a folk hero to bloodthirsty, dimwit leftist fangirls (of both sexes) throughout the Democrat party and blogosphere.
The totalitarian Left has always justified political violence. Marx’s obsession with revolution was never about peaceful, democratic change. Lenin is often credited with the cold-hearted cliché about needing to break a lot of eggs to make an omelet (though it may have come from that earlier proto-Leninist, Robespierre). Stalin dismissively called the murder of a million people a mere “statistic,” and Mao happily noted that “political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”
Democrats in Congress wouldn’t even allow an uninterrupted moment of silence called for in the House when Kirk’s death was announced.

While some of the obscene rhetoric in the Kos has declined, that source still invites others to violence. In the typical manner of speaking from both sides of the mouth, an article noting that the author was decidedly against the system and beliefs of Charlie Kirk, he also put in the phrase that Kirk shouldn’t have been killed. Of course that thought doesn’t match the rest of his article.

Austin is a huge repository for those fleeing the insanity of Blue politics. The result has turned a somewhat eccentric city into an expensive insane asylum. The immediate smaller communities are finding the overflow has removed the opportunity for many younger folks to purchase a home, and the communities are wasting the increase in tax revenue like three year old children with unfettered access to a birthday cake. It’s unsustainable, and with the entire area sucking up the precious water resources, the result will be a mad dash to find water from any source by any means.
The good result of the mass exodus is a reluctance by business to be close to the city. Smaller communities are finding new job opportunities, which helps some communities struggling from the loss of revenue due to the changes in how society functions. Still, that doesn’t change the fact those from blue states are only welcome if they embrace the Texas way of life. If that’s too hard to understand, they need to go elsewhere.

I lived in Austin , from 82 -85 . Remember 6th street being closed on the weekends for a big street party , saw Joe King Carrasco at liberty lunch , got my ass kicked by a Bandito member with blue flames tatooed on his face at a place called the “Austin outhouse” (for looking at his run of the mill HD) next to a place called “Uncle Nasty’s ” on the northern end of Guadalupe. Ate at Threadgills , and watched many good headliners there . Austin was liberal then , better than now , but still a liberal shit pit , with wranglers and justin ropers . Lived off riverside , partied down and had a good time ….same hippies , same bullshit . Dell was the first movers in that I remember , and others followed , grew faster than I35 could hold , even with two decks . Grew up speaking spanish , para negociar y sobrevivir , casi cada persona de Tejas puede hablar espanol , it is a way of life . Used to be a nice little college town , well not so little , but still , like all college towns it was liberal and the professors touted that line of thought .
I’ve only passed through Austin, except for a few TxDot biddings, and to visit an embroidery shop my wife was interested in. My brother lived there while working on a large construction project. Before he lived there, he loved the city. Not so much after that, and he avoided going there. Outfit I worked for had 8 or 10 of them down there hauling sewage from what was then the south end of Austin in the William Cannon area up to around Round Rock for treatment. Reason being, city of Austin had issued more building permits than it had treatment facilities to take care of them and as any plumber will tell you, “Paydays on Friday and shit runs downhill” but it will also overflow if you don’t do something with it. Anyway, that’s how smart they are, or perhaps are not, in Austin.

Sometimes to other cities, like Jacksonville, FL, which resembles NYfC in no way at all. And you don’t find 30 or so companies in the same building. If there is a concentration of similar companies, they’re in different buildings.
