Life can be Complicated

Nice Work – if you can get it

The Family Business “How much money did Hunter Biden and his business associates receive from the Ukrainian company Burisma?” Comer asked Ziegler.

“Burisma paid to everyone involved 6.5 million,” he replied. Between 2014 and 2019, this brings the total amount of foreign income streams received to approximately $17 million,” Comer stated, after which Ziegler confirmed.

Despite Hunter’s lack of experience in Ukraine or the energy sector, he was paid $83,000 per month by the energy company, or $1 million per year — just weeks after his father was announced “point person” on U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine.

According to an FBI informant file reviewed by the committee, Joe and Hunter Biden each received $5 million from Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, after Joe Biden threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine until President Poroshenko fired the prosecutor.

But by all means, impeach President Trump for that.

In the House Censorship Hearing

House Democrats have voted to censor and remove presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during a hearing that was ironically convened to discuss censorship issues. It seems that they don’t want to hear what he has to say.

Lunch at the White Wolf Mine

Family is visiting. It’s time to make shrimp rolls (because I don’t have lobster). The base of the shrimp mixture is mayonnaise. It’s flavored with lemon juice, a little hot sauce, fresh chives, easy on the celery, and sliced scallions for a nice onion bite. Grill the shrimp quickly grilled over hot flames on the BBQ with butter, allow them to cool, and then toss with everything else. While the shrimp is cooling, toast some brioche buns on the grill.

    1. He beat you, Surly – not by much, though. And Surly did get the V1 designation.

      1. At the end of the war, the Junkers factory was threatened by the advancing Red Hoard and they were trying to cobble together a functioning, flying test bed for future high-speed bombers. Too little, too late.

    1. Pedo Joe is unconcerned about his re-election chances. It’s a done deal, I guess.

      1. That is the saddest part, he doesn’t care… I guess they still have the “we count the votes” system still in place.
I’m mistaken, the saddest part is they have the “we count the votes” system still in place and we have done nothing about it…

          1. Creste enough distractions for The General Public and they stop caring about the Criminals In Charge because they are – rightfully – mire concerned about keeping their house, their job, and putting food on the table…and those elected to change this dumpster fire insane march towards a class system…have done absolutely nothing but talk.

That’s the tyrannical play we have been dealt.

          2. *Create…phone commenting is tough for older eyes that have been in the Wyoming sun all day building a timber frame. Need an easy chair coma about now.

    1. Neil A. spelled backward is “AlieN”

He was a class act, a solid test pilot, engineer, and astronaut, and as you say, an intrepid explorer. People like him are not replaceable.

  1. Neil Armstrong on the moon. Perhaps the pinnacle of western civilization. We sure are downhill from that point now.

The shrimp rolls look very good LL. Great on a hot day.

    1. Just imagine hope big she was when she started that vortrek to escape the latifundia of the Southern continent.

  2. I see an official VM Cookbook on the horizon. Hungrier than a Winter bear right now and made the mistake of taking a peek at the afternoon post. Nicely done with the shrimp rolls.

    1. It’s easier to buy frozen shrimp than lobsters. They’re somewhat forgiving to cook, and if you can get good bread, a shrimp roll/sandwich comes together quickly and they taste good.

    1. I can’t say that I love Pedo Joe in the same way that he loves his daughter…

  3. I was just about to comment on the mortality rate in GB and how I didn’t know they were the lyrics to Escape, and I’ve been singing it wrong all these years, when I got totally distracted by
lunch at the White Wolf Mine. If you’re knocking sarnies out of this quality then I suggest you open a salubrious cafe.

Brioche Buns On The Grill sounds like a Carry On Film.
