Is there anyone out there who believes that if Barack Obama was re-elected that the next four years would be better than the last four years? (paraphrasing Rep. Paul Ryan [R-WI], Candidate for Vice President)

The only promise that he intends to keep.
Obama Campaign Promises for 2012-2016 Term could include creating more czars to undercut the authority of cabinet officers, spending another 5 trillion with nothing to show for it, or doing a government power grab on another 20% of the national economy to mirror the ObamaCare fiasco. There’s nothing there with much appeal. His highest legislative accomplishments (ObamaCare and the trillion dollar stimulus that turned into porkbarrel rewards for his supporters) turned into object lessons in the ugly side of compromise.

Rep. Artur Davis (R-AL) — is a Democratic Party defector who seconded Obama’s nomination four years ago, who spoke at the GOP convention. (no you didn’t see it on MSNBC because they showed a commercial rather than show the speech – then cut to their panel of angry liberals) He as with many saw the damage that the Obama Administration did to America over the past four years and resolved to try and set things right.
Vice President Joe (Slow Joe) Biden was scheduled to campaign for Obama in Tampa this week. The president of the RNC openly offered him stage time every day to give a speech at the Republican Convention. Vice President Biden declined the offer. So far, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, DNC President has not accorded the same offer to Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan.
The record that Obama/Biden could run on is essentially a list of screw ups and outright failures that came with a $5,000,000,000,000 (five trillion dollars in borrowed money) price tag. So instead of discussing what they’ve done and what they’re going to do, the only strategy left for them is to attack and blatantly lie about the opposition candidate with the Mainstream Media beating their drum as their unholy servant.

Gone are the days of objectivity in the mainstream media as today they are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Democratic Party.

Democrats are energetically attempting to create the perception that Republicans — specifically, Paul Ryan — are running around Tampa making stuff up about Barack Obama (as if that’s necessary). And when I say Democrats, as regrettably cliché as it may sound, I also mean the mainstream media. (David Harsanyi )

Bottom Line – It’s a very strange election.

[In her speech] Mayor Love, whose family emigrated from Haiti with only ten dollars, said: “President Obama’s version of America is a divided one – pitting us against each other based on our income level, gender, and social status. His policies have failed! We are not better off than we were 4 years ago, and no rhetoric, bumper stickers, or campaign ad can change that.” (CNN, MSNBC and CBS did not cover Mayor Love’s speech at the RNC – likely because she’s black and a woman.)

  1. The past four years have given the president a majority in both houses of Congress (first two) and the Senate in the last two and even with that plurality, mandate and power, he's continually screwed the pooch.

  2. Strangely, your comment brings back to mind the image of the cartoon Chris Matthews dog humping Obama's leg as an Obama hound humps George Soros' leg. What an unholy daisy chain.
