Easter is a time to recall the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, it’s a time to spend a moment in reflection and time with those you love. I am not going to do more than remind you that part of a life well lived, is leaving something good behind, something of yourself, something of your good works that uplift and edify.
These are all personal choices, based on individual perspectives, and are largely rounded based on our experiences. Perhaps the most important thing to leave behind is the love that we shower on people we meet every day? And example – a humble and contrite heart.
It’s one thing to worship and it’s quite another to do something. This is your Easter message.
As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
“Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked him. “No one is good but One—God. You know the commandments:Do not murder;do not commit adultery;do not steal;do not bear false witness;do not defraud;honor your father and mother.”
He said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.”
Then, looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
But he was stunned at this demand, and he went away grieving, because he had many possessions.
The faith necessary could not be obtained without the sacrifice of all earthly things. It was the same trade off that the resurrected Christ presented to Peter in John 21:15 (When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”) Peter had the choice of whether to be a fisherman or a fisher of men… He chose the later, wisely.
Happy Easter, LL.
Thank you, Adrienne.
It's a glorious Easter morning here where I am. The sun came up like thunder from the East. I wish the very best to you and the Mister.
Happy Easter, LL! And…I got Alonzo back!
Happy Easter LL. Have fun with your family today. We are off to the local niece's house shortly to enjoy lots of Polish goodies.
Can you imagine the snowflakes if that was to be New York in 2017?
A blessed Easter to you all, LL.
An Easter miracle!
Oh, I love Polish food…and I love Poland. What a wonderful country filled with wonderful people.
They'd be rolling around having grand mal seizures, biting off their tongues.
Happy Easter to you and yours, LL!
Happy Easter
Happy Easter, LL.

Happy Easter to you and yours LL!
Part of America's past.
Thanks, Jim.
Happy Easter! And imagine that New York scene today, there'd be an uproar.
The progs would call for the mayor to be publicly crucified.
