Think about it — they should.
We’ve pumped $10,000,000,000.00 into Pakistan in direct aid (not including “soft money”) since September 11, 2001…. and there is no love what-so-ever.
We’ve DUMPED a lot more money than that into Afghanistan, and the Karzai government detests us for our presence — but keep that cash flowing. And lately they seem to be getting cozy with Iran, an enemy of the United States.
The most common name for newborn babies in Great Britain is – Mohammad. No, you can’t make this stuff up (LINK – CNN).
The City of New York and Mayor Bloomberg rolled out the red carpet for a 9/11 Victory Mosque at Ground Zero as a tribute and shrine to the fallen hijackers. Barack Hussein Obama himself seemed to feel as though it was a great idea.
We elected Barack Hussein Obama to be the President. He’s a Muslim when it’s convenient, a Black Liberation Theologist (angry black person) when it’s not — so who really knows? But the Muslims should be happy. He rubs elbows with Louis Farakham, leader of the Nation of Islam in the US and seems to really like Middle East dictators.
US policy makers decided that keeping us dependent on foreign oil is a great idea – note that we are NOT drilling in ANWR to try and move the country into an energy independent status. Note the recommendation for “Sleeping with the Devil” by Robert Baer, available on Amazon.com.
To spite all that, I’m simply not feeling much love from fundamentalist Muslims.

  1. Don't you realize that all the liberal love in the world floating toward Afghanistan and Pakistan is immediately negated when some whack in Florida decides to burn the Qur'an or when al Qaida remembers the atrocities of George Bush?

    It's always going to be conservatives/Republicans/fundamentalists that get in the way of true world peace.

    And that's the liberal truth.

    Opus – As usual, you're on point. One of the big claims that the (generally) horribly backward Muslim nations blast out is that we're taking all of their money. None of them have ever equated prosperity with freedom…what a shock. Unless they are sitting on a SEA of oil (and not even always then), Islamic nations don't have any claim to prosperity.
