Fox said in his judgement that the state’s plan violates the First Amendment. The proposed license plate featured two children with the words “Choose Life” printed above them. All well and good. So if you had “Choose Death”, would that then be fair? After all, it is the opposing viewpoint. The revelation a few weeks ago that Planned Parenthood employees had encouraged telephone donations from callers hoping to facilitate abortions of black babies — money that was “offered” from members of an anti-abortion group at UCLA — led to a quick apology from the family planning organization. Planned Parenthood said its employees made a “serious mistake” in encouraging the donations.

The donor and a representative of New Mexico Planned Parenthood were recorded as saying:
Donor: “I really face trouble with affirmative action. I don’t want my kids to be disadvantaged …”
Planned Parenthood representative: “Yeah.”
Donor: “… against blacks in college. The less black kids out there the better.”
Planned Parenthood representative: “Yeah, yeah, it’s a strange time to be sure.”
The CHOOSE DEATH movement could really sprout wings in North Carolina and possibly across the nation.
Oooh, as the leftists would say, "bad optics." They prefer to call it a "choice" when they choose death for their kids.
I think that North Carolina should cut to the chase and call it what it is. CHOOSE DEATH should be the new Pro-Choice. Planned Parenthood should be called BABY KILLING CENTERS. If you want to CHOOSE DEATH, you'd naturally go to a Baby Abattoir to have your unborn pulled from its mother's womb and killed. It's alive inside the mother. When you pull it out, you kill it. What about a little truth in advertising?
A bit too truthful for most liberal wonks.
Ironic, since Ft. Bragg is home to a contingent of soldiers who kill people in foreign countries. I don't think "Choose Life" means what you think it means.
They don't need to buy the license plates if they don't want to. However, with liberals it's all about forcing others to do precisely what they (progressives) think is best – however absurd.
Anonymous, if that REALLY is your name… Traveling to strange and exotic lands, meeting new and interesting people and then killing them is something that has very little to do with the 'pro choice/pro death movement'. Unless you equate it to 'retroactive birth control'.
PCism is WINNING… dammit…
To be honest, I think it strange to see either on a license plate, but that's just me. I also feel if that's what NC wants so be it.
