Quite A Change in the Pacific
(American Thinker) You wouldn’t want to be a leftist, waking up to the morning’s election results in either Australia or New Zealand.
Both countries’ voters repudiated them and their agendas with pounding mercilessness. CNN used the word ‘punish’ in its headline:
New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has conceded his Labour party lost Saturday’s election, as voters punished the government and took the country rightwards nine months after his predecessor Jacinda Ardern suddenly resigned.
The rising cost of living dominated campaigning with voters New Zealanders ending six years of Labour Party rule, the latter half of which was dominated by the country’s strict response to the coronavirus pandemic that successfully kept infections low but battered the economy.
With more than 98% of votes counted, the center-right National Party, led by former airline executive Christopher Luxon, had amassed around 40% of ballots, according to New Zealand’s Electoral Commission.
A dejected Hipkins told supporters that Labour did not have enough votes to form a government.
“The result tonight is not one that any of us wanted,” he said, according to RNZ. “I gave it my all to turn the tide of history but alas, it was not enough.”
Hipkins was a placeholder, the guy who got the thankless job of taking the helm after rabidly leftwing Jacinda Ardern jumped ship after wrecking the economy. Nobody even wanted the job but he ended up with it. As for Ardern, she landed herself a fancy gig at (Satan’s Vatican) Harvard, supposedly to “teach” even though the only thing that can be learned from her is what not to do.
She expanded government. She printed money. She ushered in ferocious inflation. She let crime run free. And she was a big fan of the heavy-handed grip of government, imposing severe lockdowns, vaxx mandates, gun grabs, and the demonization of the right. She was a truly nasty piece of work who left office with a 29% approval rating that just kept going downhill. While the international left feted her, the Kiwi locals couldn’t stand her and they made their views known on this election, not just her but her entire party and the mess they made. I wrote about her good-riddance exit last January here.
Bullet Points:
** The FBI know who the real bad guys are… As the specter of real terrorism engulfs the news in Israel, don’t forget that the FBI has ideas of its own about who the “real” terrorists are.
Newsweek recently reported that the FBI has clandestinely created a new subcategory of domestic terrorists that it intends to target going forward. The group has been labeled AGAAVE, which stands for anti-government, anti-authority violent extremism, but which is neither anarchist, a militia, or a sovereign citizen group.
The group? Supporters of former President Donald Trump, of course. Those dastardly Make America Great Again types.
I’m sure that the RFK supporters will be tossed into the same bag because he’s an even greater threat to Pedo Joe’s regime.
** In the US Senate: Pennsylvania should be so proud.
** What do you mean – A Grift… The more months that pass, the more that “antiracism”—the fashionable ideology that rose to prominence in the wake of the 2020 George Floyd protests—is being exposed as a grift.
As highlighted last week at Intellectual Takeout, Boston University recently opened an inquiry into Ibram X. Kendi’s Center for Antiracist Research, to uncover, among other enigmas, where $55 million in funding has been spent since the center opened in 2020.
This follows on from BLM’s financial scandal last year: After indulging in a real estate buying binge, the co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Patrisse Kahn-Cullors, abruptly quit, leaving no one in charge of the remaining $60 million in the organization’s accounts.
Meanwhile, just last week in the U.K., a BLM organizer admitted fraud after £30,000 in donations from Black Lives Matter supporters went missing, as reported in The Telegraph in an aptly titled article: “It’s time to admit it: Black Lives Matter hysteria made fools of us all.”
Not all of us…and many of us believe that black guns matter.

You forgot that Adern did an Australian style gun grab in 2019 that went even further than Australia in some cases.
Started just as we went to there for a 10 week working holiday that was to include hunting. Left my rifles at home and managed some short trips with borrowed gear.
I went to several Deer Hunters club meetings and outings while we were there. No shooter I met was ever going to vote for her again.
Why the hell did they vote for her in the first place????
What do you mean vote?
I recall Alexandria Occasional-Cortex commenting “That’s what leadership looks like.” No surprise there.
The so called pro indigenous referendum ballot in Australia was so badly written many of us thought it was meant to fail. But it could let the left wing Labour government could say we tried and blame it on racism.
It was so bad every indigenous person I know was going to vote against it including some who are very politically active.
“Ardern, she landed herself a fancy gig at (Satan’s Vatican) Harvard..” where they support raping your way to ‘liberty’ and killing babies.

How did you find the cuisine at The Pig?
Jacinda’s infamous statement showcased a level of self-aggrandizement that destroyed everything in its path:
“We will continue to be your single source of truth… Unless you hear it from us it is not the truth.”
…and yet, some preferred their captivity. Not to be outdone, Hahvaahd gives her a job to further push America into the abyss as the Pravda-style media covers for the Uniparty and The Half Dead Not-A-Prince. (Pelley…that guy…leading the answers with careful micron-level edits to make Biden sound better than he is…senile.) BLM was the same perception management mode, same as Brown/Floyd/Covid/Jan6th…all lies. Doubtful those in support of these grift’s will ever admit their foolishness that wrought destruction and angst across our nation that, I fear, we’ll never overcome…especially with the likes of this guy at some portion of the helm…
Fettersquatch- A total disgrace to the position he managed to attain. He is a metaphor for the downfall of a decent and respectful society that now prefers tuning out (to use an old phrase) rather than supporting themselves with proper work, which they seem to ignore, is soul crushing. Heck, even Maher said as much, and that’s saying something.
Jules- That is some seriously beautiful writing…the minds-eye is drawn in.
Pedo Joe’s regime is pursuing a similar course: All truth originates from Joe or Ho.
The Ho? You must mean “big Mike.” The Ho’s has a GT score of 40 … maybe?
Really shows the short memories of the General Public coupled to attention spans less than a goldfish, somewhere in the 4-6 second range. These type repeat the same foolishness then wonder why they have become subject to soft slavery at the hands of a bunch of losers and reprobates, only to support them in the next election because they don’t like one person’s hair color or some other nonsense.
“Anti-government, anti-authority violent extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.”
Uh-oh. I’m probably on a list now.
I’m sure that you’re on a list…
I’m pretty sure that commenting here will put you on a list with some government entity.
Didn’t someone say something like, “Never trust anyone who’s not on some government list.”?
I may lurk here, admittedly emoting a lot in my spare minutes, and probably made a few lists…but I’m harmless, I swear.
Or your account was hijacked.
Yeah. That’s the ticket!
Why is that dysgenic retard holding a floor buffer? On second thought, I don’t even want to know.
Of course “anti racism” is a grift. But it’s not the biggest such grift. The really successful one is all that, plus an incredibly powerful shakedown organization. Confucius Institutes, eat your heart out. You’re mere chiggers compared to the real thing.
Pray for our beloved President Biden. Nothing weird at all about sending a demented old man into a war zone. Cynical minds would note that harm befalling a US President would be a casus belli that would make “Remember the Maine” trivial in comparison.
It’s HIS secret to getting that chrome dome to shine! Yep, one handed, I fact checked it Mike. Am I making the list yet?
Because Fetterman is unskilled at anything (even comprehending the spoken word). The man has done zero actual work in his sorry Mommy & Daddy subsidized life, floor buffer/janitor is about all the Workforce gal could suggest for him, 3rd Shift at the High School. Now he’s one of 100 Senator’s…how the hay does that happen in a supposed enlightened educated society?
When I was a janitor, I would never have worn sweatpants to work.
– Kle.
Exactly, whether a janitor or CEO you dress appropriately with respect for the position and yourself.
Wonder who pushed Fetterman’s button? He has called for the Senate to expel Menendez. It is unseemly to be on Egypt’s payroll but just fine if it is Ukraine.
Egypt is full of Arabs (yuck) and about 90% Sunni (double yuck). So of course they’re haram (you’ll pardon the expression). Ukraine on the other hand is mostly Slavs (also yuck), over 80% Christian (yuck) and specifically over 70% Orthodox (so much yuckier than more convenient kinds of Christians).
On the surface, UKR would seem to be about as yucky as Egypt, but apparently there are Reasons why Ukraine is not haram. I’m sure those are good, excellent, and most highly moral reasons a mere bipedal animal such as myself can’t begin to comprehend. But I do know that our beloved masters have nothing but our best interests at heart. I for one am happy to Trust the Plan. 😍
It’s all about where laundering networks are set up and it moves smoothly.
Although I applaud the election results in NZ and Aus, I kind of doubt that there are any politicians there who an American would recognize as anything beyond “less vehemently Left Wing than the total Moonbats”.
On the down side, we had the opposite result in Poland.
-Kle.
There are a couple of small parties who get labeled as right wing, red necks etc who are ok on guns and basic rights.
The main two parties are Labour officially left wing and Liberal National Party who are still too left wing. The National Party who basically represents rural areas is ok but tends to get beaten by sheer numbers.
Some rural electorates are over 500 000 square miles (about double the size of Texas) while in the city the same number of people is 15 to 20 m2.
NZ is even more confusing with 120 seats in Parliament but on 72 are elected directly. Evan as a frequent visitor I don’t understand their system.
Jacinda, a former member of the Socialist Workers Party, resigned rather suddenly.
She was kicked upstairs
The Aussies and Anzacs are pissed… to put it mildly… And they have NO problem voting governments out of office.
We need to do the same. I’d settle for an honest vote count.
Voting in Australia is by paper on the day. On the day, postal or early voting requires drivers license or similar I.D.
Every suggestion of
machine voting has been stomped on heavily.
Ballots for Parliament (3 year term) are kept for 12 months and Senate (upper house with 6 year term) for 7 years
One can pray that the left would be overturned here. We can only wait and see what God plans.
I’d be happier, I think, if we went back to voting on the day of the election.
You all be safe and God bless.
