The Special Relationship

Is it time to suspend our “Special Relationship” with the UK, particularly in terms of intelligence sharing? Prime Minister Kier Starmer has just appointed an Islamic terrorist supporter (I kid you not), Shabana Mahmood, as UK Home Secretary (left). She now controls MI5, the United Kingdom’s domestic counter-intelligence and security agency.

Ms Mahmood has said that Islam is “the most important aspect of her life” and it drives everything she does. She has called white males the enemy, called Israel an illegitimate government, and attended a “globalize the intifada” rally.

Continuing to share intelligence with the UK risks sharing with various malign actors and presenting an Islamic terror threat to the US.

 

Another Senseless Murder

Julie Gard Schnuelle, 59, a beloved retired Auburn University veterinary professor, was killed Saturday afternoon while walking her dog at Kiesel Park. Her body was found in a wooded area around 2 p.m. Police say she was assaulted, and her red Ford F-150 was stolen. Authorities quickly arrested Harold Rashad Dabney III, 31, of Montgomery, less than 24 hours later. He’s now charged with two counts of capital murder and is being held without bond in the Lee County Jail.

As soon as the murderer’s race was disclosed by law enforcement, the media dropped the story as usual.

It was bad enough that the attack happened. The cover-up by the US government was shameless. Ammo.com put out a good piece on the Benghazi attack on September 11-12. I didn’t cover Benghazi on VM yesterday because I didn’t want to divert what small attention this blog receives from the Attacks by Wahhabists on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and the aborted attack on the White House (Flight 93), where heroic passengers took down their own aircraft so that others may live.

I’m seeing a bunch of shit heads trying to justify Charlie Kirk’s murder with his quote about empathy, and it’s worth having some gun deaths to have the Second Amendment. Let me just say, those people are vile fucking trash, and I’ll explain the context.

I wrote a book called In Defense Of The Second Amendment. I’ve got an entire chapter where I break down the stats comparing the costs and benefits. Even using the most biased anti-gun sources’ stats, the number of defensive gun uses stomps all over the number of criminal shootings, so 2A is an overwhelmingly positive net benefit. Guns win. They are used for good far more often than evil.

It would be equivalent to saying that some traffic deaths are worth it for the rest of America to have cars. Angry democrats don’t usually publicly execute people for saying that… yet.

That’s the context of what he was talking about, you stupid, dishonest, thoughtless dipshits, who unthinkingly regurgitate the first liberal narrative you’re fed. Reflect on your life, trash. Or don’t. We don’t fucking care what you idiots believe anymore.

An Update from Pleasant Mart

Your favorite supermarket in Shelby, North Carolina: A quick word from management, if you shoplift, you will be arrested. We caught Merriam eating grapes she hadn’t paid for, right out of the bag, this morning! Disgusting!. Our employee working that shift did the correct thing and promptly called 911 instead of approaching the shoplifter! Of course, when questioned, she was full of excuses, some sob story about lack of social security, and saying she was gonna pay at the register. I’ve been working this business for a long time.

All criminals have a sob story!! I lose too much money every year to deal with more shoplifting in my store. We will be happy to press charges against this individual and any other shoplifter who steals from our store.

  2. It’s always fun to read Correia’s take on things. Read the first MHI book, loaned it to a coworker, and he went out and started buying all the books. Haven’t talked with him since retiring, but I bet he’s still buying any new books coming out.

    1. Yes, Larry Correia is both a good writer and a character. He calls balls and strikes as he sees them without much of a filter, which is similar to how most people who visit this blog do.

  6. In the short term, it is virtually impossible to change the intelligence sharing aspect of the “special relationship”. There is way too much commitment in money, time, and personnel in the operational sites in the UK to change things quickly. In effect, we’d have to unilaterally decree all information at those sites as a new category such as 4-eyes, cutting out UK personnel from the access list. I do not believe that could work. Hopefully within MI6 there are channels through which any risk, actual or potential, could be managed by knowledgeable and trusted folks. For good or evil, the first rule of a bureaucracy is: protect the bureaucracy.

    1. Oh, and even though Mahmood is MI5, the flow of intelligence to her organization would have to be managed by MI6, or some similar channels.

A good shooter, trained in ‘the arts,’ would have worn non-descript clothing, not been seen in said clothing that was bought from several different places, maybe even garage sales. Maybe a long shot in the North East, but west of the Mississippi, that’s close range. There’s all sorts of tv shows that show kids making kills, as in hitting the kill spot, at 800 to 1000 yards. 200 yards with a .30-06? Meh, that’s danger close for that caliber, which was designed to kill a horse at 1,500 yards.

          Mr. Kirk’s Shooter? A sporterized Mauser in .30-06 with a scope? At only 200 yards? That’s right in the range of a friggin M1 Carbine with iron sights, or an SKS with iron sights, or an AK. An M1 Garand or M1903 Springfield with iron sights? Easy peasy. Scope any of the aforementioned rifles and it’s a friggin easy shot.

          HEB made some excellent points. This kid was bright and capable and indoctrinated.
