Bullet Points:
** USAID – Turning democrats into millionaires since 1961.
** Money for nothing (and chicks for free).
** The build-up continues. Iran, concerned about a war they’ll lose, has agreed to direct talks with the US for the first time in ten years.
New satellite imagery captured over the weekend shows the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier entering the Indian Ocean, signaling Washington’s escalating military build-up in the region as part of its war on Yemen and ahead of a possible attack on Iran.
The USS Carl Vinson, a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier named in honor of US Congressman Carl Vinson of Georgia, was initially deployed in the western Pacific. It is now the second US aircraft carrier in West Asia, joining the USS Harry S. Truman.
Iran can save itself if it completely dismantles its nuclear program, and we can verify it. Otherwise, the beards can move on to their 70 virgins in the next life.
** High-speed rail in California.
** (h/t Claudio) – Japan takes another stand in the coming war with China. I think that they’re taking the wrong approach. Once the first nuke detonates in the conflict with Japan, the genie will be out of the bottle. It will be a nuclear and genetic virus war aimed at ending the Han altogether. The Japanese won’t be squeamish when wiping them from the Earth with biologicals, and the Chinese will opt for nukes because they have them..
** A cliche in the P. I.? Not really.
** The Kremlin’s terms for a ceasefire (zerohedge). Vlad doesn’t seem to recall who invaded whom. Demanding a disarmed Ukraine? Can Ukraine demand a disarmed Russia? Last week, Rubio said, “We’re not interested in negotiations about negotiations, this thing will not last forever.”
** Jules plays Wimbledon (more non-stop tennis action here)
** The Chinese government is resisting the United States’ dual efforts to target strategically situated ports at either end of the Panama Canal and the inner workings of TikTok. In both cases, President Donald Trump has attempted to facilitate deals to transfer the assets to majority U.S. control, citing the vital importance of the Panama Canal to American security and seeking to comply with a law signed by his predecessor mandating the sale of TikTok over national security and privacy concerns. While two strategically located port facilities and a popular social media app would appear unrelated, they serve as powerful negotiating tools for Beijing—the ports are strategically located near a vital sea lane for the United States, and TikTok’s algorithm positions its Chinese parent company in an influential position over U.S. public opinion.
** One more from Norway – a Scandanvian perspective? Ok, two more from Norway.
** “The Army didn’t rob me of my youth,” Mel Brooks, who will turn 99 on June 28, 2025, said, “It gave me quite an education during World War Two. You can learn much if you don’t get killed in the Army.”
** An interesting perspective on drug cartels from an Arizona rancher. Alien smuggling – interesting and accurate.

Pharma Ads on TV
From Liz Wheeler via X: “If reports are accurate—and I pray they are—that RFK Jr. will ban Big Pharma ads on TV, a massive societal earthquake is about to happen on two fronts.
#1: The corporate media will fail. You will watch before your very eyes as highly paid MSM anchors are fired, networks panic & some shut down, and paychecks aren’t paid. The entire business of MSM is fake. Massive ad dollars artificially prop it up from Pharma ads. Not because of the return on investment that Pharma sees from peddling their drugs on TV, but instead because of WHY Pharma buys so many TV ads in the first place to prevent reporting on Pharma corruption.
#2: Accordingly, when the gravy chain of Pharma ad dollars to TV networks stops, we will suddenly see reporting on the corruption of Big Pharma, drugs, vaccines, medical associations like AAP & AMA, and govt regulation agencies like CDC & FDA—reporting that was previously prohibited because the ad money Pharma paid networks was just a pay off for silence. Pharma knew they didn’t sell drugs off those commercials. It was a money laundering scheme to keep reporters silent about the abuses coming out of Pharma. Even Roger Ailes once admitted he didn’t let his people on Fox report negatively on Pharma because it would destroy their bottom line.

Supersymmetry?
Supersymmetry is a theoretical framework in physics that suggests the existence of a symmetry between particles with integer spin (bosons) and particles with half-integer spin (fermions). It proposes that a partner particle with different spin properties exists for every known particle. Multiple experiments on supersymmetry have failed to provide evidence that it exists in nature. If evidence is found, supersymmetry could help explain certain phenomena, such as the nature of dark matter and the hierarchy problem in particle physics.
A supersymmetric theory is one in which the equations for force and the equations for matter are identical. In theoretical and mathematical physics, any theory with this property has the principle of supersymmetry (SUSY). Dozens of supersymmetric theories exist. In theory, supersymmetry is a type of spacetime symmetry between two basic classes of particles: bosons, which have an integer-valued spin and follow Bose–Einstein statistics, and fermions, which have a half-integer-valued spin and follow Fermi–Dirac statistics. The names of bosonic partners of fermions are prefixed with s because they are scalar particles. For example, if the electron existed in a supersymmetric theory, there would be a particle called a selectron (superpartner electron), a bosonic partner of the electron.
In supersymmetry, each particle from the class of fermions would have an associated particle in the class of bosons, and vice versa, known as a superpartner. The spin of a particle’s superpartner is different by a half-integer. In the simplest supersymmetry theories, with perfectly “unbroken” supersymmetry, each pair of superpartners would share the same mass and internal quantum numbers besides spin. More complex supersymmetry theories have a spontaneously broken symmetry, allowing superpartners to differ in mass.
Supersymmetry has various applications to different areas of physics, such as quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, quantum field theory, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, optics, stochastic dynamics, astrophysics, quantum gravity, and cosmology. It has also been applied to high-energy physics, where a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model is a possible candidate for physics beyond the Standard Model. However, no supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model have been experimentally verified, and some physicists say the theory is dead.
They Howl Again?
Dallas-based Colossal Biosciences has announced the birth of three dire wolf pups created using ancient DNA, gene editing, and cloning technologies. This marks the world’s first successful animal de-extinction.
Using fossils over 13,000 years old, scientists altered gray wolf DNA with 20 genetic edits to recreate traits like thick fur and robust jaws, resulting in a hybrid species resembling the extinct predator.

The pups, born between October 2024 and January 2025, are being closely monitored on a secured 2,000-acre site. Colossal pushes forward with plans to revive other extinct species, including the mammoth and Tasmanian tiger.

M60 I think I mentioned before that I made the mistake of being the second best shot with M60 in my unit just after I got there as a very young private. One sergeant best me.
Suddenly I went from scout to gunner. Big weight difference to carry instead of a FAL.
One of my friends carried one in Vietnam. A 42 day patrol (standard for Australian infantry then) started with him carrying 600 rounds plus the gun. Frank is about 5’10” and skinny. Can’t imagine how he did it.
There is usually an A/Gunner assigned to help feed the pig. It is better to run out of food than of ammo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmNYZFFjA1c

I resemble the Swede in those clips… Now do Chinese ones for Mike! If I was a postal route carrier I would have refused to use on of those trucks, did they marry modern art into their design team?
I don’t know how many of them are still on the road (though they’re new). I still want to know where all of the extra money went.
The local main post office has been building a recharging facility for those abominations for the last 3 years. And they’re still working on it. I figure they’ll finish it about the time DOGE cancels the vehicle contract. Oshkosh, of course. Why they didn’t ask Tesla, well, we know why.
No need for a skit. The chinaman would slice the ball into little strips, stir fry with hot oil and a little ginger. Serve with soy sauce and chili oil on the side. Goes well as a side dish with entree of roast cat.

CaliRail: This statement by the Vacuous One, after 9 years and $11B in taxpayer money: “We can’t go back, we just have to accept the responsibility of where we are now, that’s what we are doing.” More Bravo Sierra word salad in a full-on attempt to cover up the graft by the self-appointed ruling class, who by all accounts are morons and idiots. Yet people lap it up and continue to re-elect them over and over thinking it’ll be different. Same with tariffs, 50 years of getting hammered by politicians and foreign entities, then, when a proper person comes along and says “HEY!, this is so inequitable.”, then starts to turn the Largess Queen Mary, those on the take and the willfully ignorant scream bloody murder.

Paul, the light rail projects in Portland and other BOONDOGGLES have been exposed by L.L. = Lars Larson for decades. His been on local radio and now national. The Peoples Republic of what was Oregon keep voting in Morons. The 503 area code out votes the rest of the state. One day… I hope God we see same day. I.d. required voting there. AND a split electoral like NE has.
Today we are witnessing what someone who knows what he is doing…against a massive pile of reprobates who want a weak America…can do with a great plan and the SISU MAGA guts to execute it, and the fortitude to stick with what looks like “Econ Chicken” through the initial panic period by those who haven’t a clue about any of it…but think they do. China’s arrogance is causing it to head straight into Paper Tiger status…but they’ll fold.
On the other hand, Brightlines paired with the Florida East Coast for privately funded high speed rail from Miami to Cocoa, and then Brightlines went from Cocoa to Orlando on their own. Underbudget, completed before scheduled, everything from rebuilding and doubletracking existing rail to brand new 120mph roadbed with tunnels and overpasses, already made to handle two tracks but with only one installed so far, along with a brand spanking new cleaning and maintenance facility just south of the Orlando International Airport.
–
Completely different outcomes, Florida’s private rail line vs California’s government rail line.
–
Brightlines is the one pushing for a private-funded high speed rail between Lost Angeles and Las Vegas.
“Iran can save itself if it completely dismantles its nuclear program, and we can verify it”.
Didn’t Libya and Gaddafi try that? Something about giving up the “weapons of mass destruction” not too long before Obama & Clinton came in to redo Libya…
Now I’m one of those people who thought that Tehran should have ended up a glassy bowl in the ground back in 1979 after they took the embassy. People might hate Americans, but they would look over their shoulder before they said that out loud & Iran would not have been a problem for the last 46 years. But instead Carter did nothing.
Anyway I’d have to think three times before I gave up the nukes with the hope of the US leaving me alone.
There must be the appearance of trying before we glass the place.
The odd thing about the Dire Wolves – aside from the whole story itself – is a report that the CIA was involved in funding it. WTF? Why??
~~
What I mean about the whole story being odd is the part that these aren’t actually truly genetic Dire Wolves. That part about “… 20 genetic edits to recreate traits like thick fur and robust jaws, resulting in a hybrid species resembling the extinct predator.” Again, why? What do we gain from making a “shaggy dog” that resembles an “extinct predator?”
Why? Because they can! Plus maybe they can make a lot of money… (I wonder if they were funded through an NGO?)
Heard that as well… scumbaggery for a reason. However, this sort of backdoor funding will end soon, and The Administration and WTP can’t “go there” with the amount of garbage these people have done nd pilfered over 50 years of a sorry existence…going forward is all that matters. Lean budgets will keep these nefarious shops in check…dumping/cancelling a bunch of them will mean other budgets can be funded with “exiting”.
Ps. These lab rats thinking they are doing genius work (same with Covid) need to be stopped…it’s a Pandora’s Box coupled to an impending dumpster fire tied to something nefarious, all the while doing the fawning sales job on the General Public that oing this stuff is just peachy-keen. How about not only ‘no’ but “Hell(hound) No”.

Wonder how much money could be made by companies who create Designer Pets. After seeing what some people inflict on their pets, I bet there’s gold in them-thar-hills.
Everybody who is anybody will want a dire wolf or their own mini-mastadon (housetrained). I’m waiting for the sabertooth tigers to be demanded by the woke.
A T-Rex line dance ensemble?
If you turned a T-Rex loose in Hollywood, all that fat in their diet – and all the cocaine in their diet – would be unhealthy for them.
Sooo, unfair to the T-Rex? The Hollywood crowd should be all for it then, marching in the streets “Rex Lives Matter!” [more than our own]
Now there’s an idea for the next Jurassic World movie.
Cartels get hold of raptor eggs. Raise and train them, get them coked up for missions against rivals.

Raptors on coke. There’s an adventure film for you.
Dinosaurs aren’t reptiles – they’re related to chickens (possibly taste like chicken). Do they have receptors that react to cocaine the way that mammals do? You’re a doctor, you should know these things.

Cloning dead pets is big business in South Korea. And they can genetically clean the new pet at the same time.
–
The same labs are also into the push behind bringing back the wooly mammoth, for money of course.
–
But Dire Wolves? Why? Do we need bigger apex predators? And there’s a reason they died off to begin with.
Aren’t most of the people who want to resurrect extinct species part of the global warming/climate change crowd? If so, I have to scratch my head that during a “claimed” period of global warming these same geniuses want to bring back the Woolly Mammoth, only to expose it to the same weather patterns that drove it to extinction.
There will be modern elephant DNA blended with the extracted wooly mammoth DNA. They’ll become zoo attractions.
Until they escape.
I worked with an ex-Marine (I know. There is no such thing as an ex-Marine) on a construction project years ago that was a gunner during his service. I’d tease him about how his specialty prepared him for concrete construction, which didn’t set well, but I wouldn’t push it, and we’d laugh about it. He told me about his night maneuvers, which allowed him to fire his M-60 to relieve the boredom and usually uncomfortable weather conditions. He would sometimes fire his machine gun until the barrel was past red hot, and translucent. He knew he pushed the limit when the rounds would go every direction down range. The barrel was ruined, he’d replace it carefully to avoid burning the skin on his hand, and go back to being a good soldier. I never asked him why he didn’t stay in the service, and he never volunteered the information.
There is a lot to be said for the service. There’s a lot to be said about the service. I didn’t stay in.
M-60. Those would have been nice to have. We only had M-2s in our float bridge company. The receiver was 58 lbs. Whenever we played at being infantry I carried it. Not a fond memory.
The M-2 was designated “heavy machinegun” for a reason. And it’s not just the M-2. The ammo is heavy.
A loaded Barrett 50 or a McMillen 50 weigh over 40 pounds with another ten pounds of ammo. And they’re bulkier than the Pig.
M-2. Also we carried the tripod, spare barrels, and a tool box (head space adjustment). Total around 120 lbs. We weren’t trusted with ammo. All of it awkward to carry on a road march.
Yeah, you can get into a LOT of mischief with a loaded M-2.
Voice of experience? (No need to answer that)
Friend of was a Marine in SE Asia whose unit was assigned to interdict the Ho Chi Mihn Trail. Somehow they managed to mount a 20mm aircraft gun on a tripod meant for the M2. And they lugged that particular beast and its food around for months.
–
He said the secondary explosions from hitting buffalo and elephants loaded with ammunition were spectacular. I guess in Hell you have to find the beauty in something.
China doesn’t seem to have a sense of humor.
China (as a group) never has nor never will have a sense of humor. It’s inherent in their cultural makeup. The Taiwanese seem to have found some minor level of humor, but not the ChiComs. From my friend who got out of Hong Kong, the humor’s left that benighted city also.
–
That’s my view from here in Florida. I’ve never gone to witness these places firsthand. So I can only state what I have heard and observed.
Commiefornia at it’s ‘best’…500 miles? No way in hell will it EVER be completed… Yes, Plan B for the win!
An American PUNCHING the ball? I call BS. We’d shoot the ball (if we liked the guy). If we don’t like the guy, he gets shot, not the ball. “THAT’S how we do it.”

As to targeted genetic weapons (vs nukes for example), yes. I’ve been saying that for some time now. I have no idea whether there are Han-specific markers, but I’d be shocked if there are not. I’d also be shocked if there aren’t dozens of labs working on targeting specific mitochondrial DNA (maternal lineage) markers as I’m typing this. That’s how you do genocide right and proper.
That concept underlies the gene editing used to create dire wolves, i.e. CIA involvement with funding. War by other means.
There are genetic markers that express the ‘race’ of people. Things from eyefolds, eye color, hair color, skin color, penis shaped, lots and lots of potential targets for genetic screening and genetic time bombs. Been covered by sci-fi authors since way before actual DNA was sequenced or figured out. “The Sixth Column” by Heinlein has the heroes finding a light frequency that affects Asians and not Whites nor Blacks.
–
So, yes, making a genetic weapon that’s specifically targeted for left-handed Swedes with black hair is possible. And, God, I hope nobody uses current developments as weapons. Nukes and chemicals are bad enough.
–
And, of course, ‘hardening’ biologicals to make a bug like Ebola (which burns hot and fast, which is the reason it hasn’t swept the world) deadly is very possible. Especially since those rat-fink scientists have worked so well on hardening the flu viruses.
I am behind in my “surfing”, so likely no one will read this.
