Off the shelf cowboy boots are hit and miss. If you want a comfortable well fitting boot have them custom made from a fitting. They will be more expensive but they will fit and if properly maintained will last a very long time. Back in 84 I spent a little more than my ASAF paycheck to have a pair of boots made in North Texas. I retired them 3 years ago as they were getting a bit frazzled and ruff.
About 15 years ago I was driving from one job in Maryland to anther in South Virginia. It was 10:30 pm and I was hungry. The only thing open was MickyD’s where I ordered a double quarter pounder w/ cheese in the drive through. I got back on the road to discover I had 2 McRib sandwich’s. I tried it and it was the nattiest thing I ever had. Luckily I came across a Waffle House 15 miles down the road.

Color Blindness: Nice thought, but if anyone ever believed it, it was Whites. Only whites. And the Victims have always been with us. It’s not a new phenomenon by any means. The recent changes are that 1) more and more groups have learned to play the game; 2) victimhood now has greater currency across the board. But I see #2 starting to decrease simply because times are much tougher for everyone. Someone who is fat and happy has the luxury of pitying the poor eternal victim classes and wanting to “give a hand up, not a hand out” like a good civnat, but when you have to decide between defaulting on your electric bill or not feeding your kids, there’s no more room for that generosity, either financial or spiritual.
