Caption – The US is sitting on a massive debt run-up against the taxpaying stakeholders. No matter what happens, getting it under control will take time.
Peanut
Let’s see…they threaten a guy’s girlfriend, break into his home with a SWAT team, take his pet, and then kill said pet; yeah, I can understand how people are upset over this kind of government overreach and abuse. And all done by a Democrat-elected police chief and state government, no less…
Factoid:

The Vote – Maybe we won’t have an Obama Fourth Term
I think it wise just to vote and ignore the polls and pundits, many of whom are dealing from the bottom of the deck and bluffing. I’d also ignore those doomsters who claim, based on the 2020 election, that it will be stolen. Sure, there has been and will be a lot of cheating, but the Republicans are getting better at monitoring it and reducing it. Sure, the press is lying again, but the legacy media has blown its credibility, and alternate content providers are capturing audiences away from them.
Atlas, the most accurate pollster in 2020, predicts a clean sweep. I agree with those who contend that Trump needs only to snatch victory in one brick of the blue wall to win. Still, despite the best efforts of the many people and groups Nickson details, an estimated 3.2 million illegal votes will be counted—votes that come through the ERIC electronic registration program in use in 28 states.
How this boils out is still, therefore, not predictable, but I’m inclined to the view of Scott Adams,
I predict Trump will get the most real votes, but Democrats will empty the trickster vault to keep him from being certified and taking office on schedule. I predict massive voter fraud will be discovered and it will confirm in the minds of the public that Trump was probably right about 2020 being rigged. It will be the greatest Third Act in political history. I predict America will sort it all out by the end of January(ish). Probably via Supreme Court. Trump will take office. The Golden Age begins.
The Left figured that would be the case, too. They’re gearing up for post-election mayhem in D.C., and in Portland, Seattle, and everywhere else where they succeeded in defunding the police. Areas where the police were not defunded and have a significant armed citizen presence are unlikely to allow that mischief to occur.

Initially, they are enemies, but after their crash landing, they must learn to cooperate to survive in the harsh environment. Then the Drax gets knocked up – in a family way…

You’re in the running for a two slice toaster imported from Bangladesh. There have been complaints that the packing smells like ass, stale curry and unwashed feet. We reply that if you hate the packing, just wait until your morning bagel pops up. The smell usually goes away before it breaks.
>smells like ass, stale curry and unwashed feet.
—
Somewhere someone is wanking furiously to that mental image. Not me, but someone.
—
The Pretty Korean Girl spent a month in Bangladesh (against my advice). She said when they unbuttoned the plane on arrival at the gate the cabin filled with the smell of human shit. Things did not improve from there.
Unlike after her trips to, say, Copenhagen, or Prague, happily chattering about what she saw, and did, and ate, she was reticent for about a week, then one day muttered out of the blue, “you were right”.
Did you mark that admission date with lots of stars on the calendar?
Hahaha! No, that wasn’t all that uncommon, to be honest. The unusual thing was that it took so long.
Probably because it was something that we had an actual disagreement on, plus it was part of a bigger issue.
Long story short, it wasn’t just the trip, it was getting involved in Bangladeshi public health in the first place.
Despite taking a lot of (metaphorical) shit in that job, and excelling nonetheless, she ended up walking away from a funded research grant and a Harvard faculty position and went into industry. It was an appalling scandal in the department. I was very proud of her because 1) it was the right long-term choice for her, 2) Korean society is all about titles, status, and “name” universities. To walk away from a HARVARD position is super difficult. (I did that too, but I’m shit at being an East Asian.)
If she’s not willing to sacrifice herself on the altar of wealth/status/position then give her lots of hugs.
You are the only one that brought it up… Do I have to delve into my behavioral training?
Please, God, not no but HAIL no!
If I identify as being from one of the 46 states we have been in can I enter the contest, lol.
No, sorry…but the upside is you can get a Democrat provisional ballot…all from home and without ID, just pick your preferred American corrupt swing state city and they’ll be happy to email it to you.
Just a thought about C – looks like someone’s dad is up to high thigh…
Squirrel – to save the squirrel they had to kill the squirrel, or something…
I’m holding out for an upgraded four-slice toaster.
I was hoping for a Ronco Veg-O-Matic…with a Pocket Fisherman tossed in…both free for only $19.99 S&H.
VM is not rolling in income. The two slice Bengali toaster (bought at a bargain price in bulk) is the extent of largess currently available should you win (see terms and conditions)
If VM was powered by green renewable free range organic non-GMO windmill generators and a 1000 acre solar panel array you’d be rolling in government subsidies allowing an upgrade to 4-slice toaster prizes…plus toss in the Pocket Fisherman for free.
If I was a democrat you’d get a Chinese product and I’d have to kick back 10% to The Big Guy
Sweepstakes giveaway;
Pure humor and fun!

P-nut- Government is a self-prescribed sledgehammer and view everything with WE The People as a 2p finish nail. A pox on all their houses who did that (and like an affair, that’s only THE ONE we know about).
***
Election- (not that I give a rip anymore, like hearing the constant noise in the background, pretty soon you tune it out) Stigall played a Dem PA Rep propping up Harris by saying…I kid you not…”Kamala Harris is a hard worker, she tilts her head back and gets to work”. Yup…said that…no further explanation needed.
(Ps- Since the time change just happened does that mean the Dem’s got that extra hour overnight that they banked from Spring to count the extra ‘just arrived’ ballots needed to win?)
***
2-Slice (sounds like a Rapper name)- Better be a good toaster, like a SMEG or Wolf Gourmet, not some $7.98 Chinesium Walmart special that melts after the first bagel. (no, I didn’t read the legal fine print)
Has anyone asked which of Djddy’s victims Kamala helped? Or if all she did was help Diddy?
ERIC, founded in 2012. Need we ask which Obama supporters were behind that?
I stand corrected, Stigall was playing a few statements and I confused the PA Rep with – making what was said even more cringeworthy – none other than Harris’ other half. Oy! (https://youtu.be/05nA3VP2Eok?si=NBs2DkFUJiqpJ1Ju)
New York has been an authoritarian hell since at least the 1930s.
Spending a million tax dollars to murder someone’s pet is normal there.

Election: Concur, LL. I just vote on voting day; it’s all I can really do.

– Kle.
Just vote is all any of us can do…
not true. witness samuel whittemore. on april 19th 1775 seventy eight year old samuel heard the gunfire near his home. he armed himself and set out, alone, to do battle. coming upon the british 47th foot, he fired his rifle killing one, fired his two pistols killing two more. by then the british had reached his position. he didn’t run, instead he drew his saber and attacked. he was shot in the face, bayoneted multiple times, beaten with rifle butts and left for dead. he was found by patriots, still trying to reload his weapons and nursed back to health. according to wiki anyway. i’m sure at least some of it is true. we are not useless old men, not yet anyway.
No we are not.
normally I’d agree, but “the vote” has recently become more of a political football and many of us are wondering if it hasn’t become a total fraud.
we appear to have gotten away from the one man/woman/whatever who can prove citizenship at registration.
we may have to resort to a photo ID voter registration card/implanted chip to partially stop/slow the fraud/joke.
another area is mail-in balloting which should be confined to troops outside of CONUS; how do we provide the vote for those bedridden, but otherwise, other than mentally-compromised, people?
the other side of the coin is the absolute necessity of monitoring the count.
as schoolchildren we are taught/catechized about the importance/sanctity(?) of voting; how many now question (some/the majority[?] very quietly) the results?
But continuously told that it’s important that everybody has access to the ballot. But nobody is encouraging people to actually read the fine print before they vote. You should have to pass a citizenship test before you’re allowed to cast a vote.
x2 Ed. Earlier text to the brothers, one who had yet another “door knocker” today imploring him to vote (he always votes in-person on the day)…his comment: “impressive effort”.
Me: “No…it stinks that American’s NEED TO BE REMINDED TO VOTE, partly caused by government run K-12 schools failing miserably” [at teaching our young their Constitutional responsibilities and seriously lacking in promoting America First].
–
Every single election the elected feel the need to reinvent the wheel instead of going simple and traditional…nah, can’t have that, no way to cheat.
if legal immigrants have to pass a citizenship test, why not everyone?
how often should a prospective voter have to take a citizenship test? every 4 years?
ten questions per test chosen randomly from a thousand on a computer prior to admittance to the voting booth (if passed)
Why not!
That sounds racist.
Yes, I know that there are other things I can do.
It does not yet seem to me as if those other things will do anything but make
everything even worse, though.

Considering my dealings with pet squirrels, someone was bitten severely during the acquisition of Peanut. May their wound fester, cause them severe suffering, and they die of Sepsis for their decision to follow the orders of a tyrannical official.
it may be to much to hope for, but I do wish that shortly after The Donald is crowned, a commission {a “committee” operates as a means of internal regulation of legislators by the legislature, while “commission” serves as an external review process. Committees normally consist of legislators, while legislators do not serve on commissions in most states}.is established to clearly show in simple arithmetic where our tax dollars have been “put to work”.
I don’t mind simple (political) graft, but what we’ve seen over the past four years goes far beyond the most highly imaginative mind of most pulps writers.
i’m tired of committees or commissions. i want to see people pay the piper.
Capitol light poles used as hangman’s scaffolds.
Enemy Mine. Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. The movie had a good message.
The message “who’s your daddy” did come up
Living in a Blue State, with a lunatic Secretary of State, my vote for Trump is irrelevant. Down ballot races and all the Initiatives and Amendments are relevant. I will always vote if just to give the finger to all the Colofornia (P)regressives and leftist judges.
Tom Baker. Still the best Doctor in my view
Absolutely!
Enemy Mine. I prefer Hell in the Pacific.

It’s past time to start euthanizing jackboots.
Catturd hit it out of the park with that comment!
Catturd is a trouble maker and so are you, Old NFO
In the old days when I was a kid they’d send one 55 yr old game warden to see about the squirrel and raccoon. He’d stop at a vet he knew took in wild critters and validate room at the inn. Then he’d stop at the house in question. Explain what’s up, explain the wild critter rules. Offer to take them to the vet or let you do it (in case kids needed to say bye) and hand you a written warning. He’d be back in a week to check and fine you if need be. Guess those days are gone.

Reference the toaster… before I enter the contest .. is it an American toaster so it toasts both sides or is it a Jules toaster and only toasts one side? Ohh… and is it 120 ac or 240 ac? I know these contests are tricky…
It’s made in an alley way in Dacca, next to the Buriganga River where the dead are launched on their way to the afterlife. The toaster, once soldered, is dipped in the sacred river. Then it’s boxed with the cheapest cardboard available and sent to the Land of the Big PX.
So it’s a curated, artisinally-made, Fair Trade (TM) toaster?
Toasters are good, because they replace white things with brown things. Just as our owners like it. Did I mention how MUCH I love my owners? Well, the answer is a LOT. ❤️❤️❤️
Your betters love you too, and so long as you remain useful, you’ll have a place at the table.
I don’t know if there’s a bag limit on squirrel shooting in Texas and suspect there isn’t. That said said, you’ll be relieved to know my last foray against the furry beasts ended in a squirrel victory. In fact, my hunting pal cunningly fell asleep under a tree! Useless. “Ahem, wake TF up!” I told him.
A moral, perhaps, for tomorrow.
New neighbor, from Arkansas originally, tough gal…squirrel in a tree making a racket…says, “Man, I just love me some tasty squirrel stew.” Mustsa heard her as it shut up.
–
But P-nut…that little happy guy wasn’t bothering anyone, was actually doing a public animal rescue service…up until some moron with a tin badge decided to raid his home and “capture” him so the moron got bit. About time for a few idiots to get their “procedural” rear-ends handed to them.
You wonder if the the SWAT Team’s families are proud of them for dispatching a rescued squirrel.
Squirrels – 1 LSP – 0

Those numbers will have to stand.
Just realized that as I type this it’s past midnight in Chicago.

And I can see the dead rising, ballots in hand, and head to the nearest drop-box……
It’s tradition.
