What follows Chevron, even in the best case, will be a long and hard battle to restore the separation of powers and the accountability to citizens intended by the founders and undermined by the administrative state.”

Can you Unplug?
In The Matrix, when Morpheus tells Neo that “many are not ready to unplug from the system,” he is speaking to a profound truth about human nature, which reflects both the story’s fictional world and the real-life metaphysical condition of society. The “system” in The Matrix is a metaphor for the Illusion—an artificial construct designed to control and subdue humanity by giving them a false sense of reality, much like how many live today trapped in the illusions of society, unable or unwilling to see beyond the veil of lies, manipulation, and control.
For many, the system’s comfort is preferable to the unsettling and often painful awakening to truth. People have become conditioned, through years—sometimes generations—of indoctrination to accept the world as it is presented to them. To unplug from this system is to face a harsh, sometimes unbearable, reality that everything they thought was real is, in fact, a lie. This requires courage, a willingness to embrace discomfort, and, most importantly, the readiness to let go of what one thought to be the truth.
Those still plugged into the system are often its most ardent defenders because the system has become their identity. Their sense of self, beliefs, and values are all tied to that system’s illusions and constructs. To threaten it is to threaten everything they hold dear. For many, it is easier to defend the system than to confront the possibility that they have been deceived.
Beyond even social recognition is the problem of financial control. Financially unplugging from a system that owns you is nearly impossible. And we all owe our soul to the company store.

Reasonable is such a broad, and subjective, word. Reasonable to a person working, trying to save for retirement, or attempting to start a business, is to be left alone, allowed an unobstructed effort, and the ability to thrive. To a politician, or a bureaucrat, it’s rationalizing spending, growing an agency, and creating useless regulations to insure their employment. Unfortunately, our system of government only allows the latter to be employed by the citizens, and they find many of their actions “reasonable” regardless of how it affects those they are supposed to serve. Integrity, and moral fortitude, are the only bulwarks against the corruption, and those necessary requirements are sadly lacking in today’s society.

The Chevron decision may prove to be one of the most important for freedom from government tyranny for the last fifty years. So glad to see some sanity return.
The fact that it’s the law of the land doesn’t mean that the Swamp will pay any attention to it – but yes, a move in the right direction for a change.

At this point in the failed (on all sides) mess of Ukraine, I don’t even care about the 10% to The Big Guy. I’m far more concerned about the however-much (not just money, but power) to the Fink. Seriously, that guy is way more powerful than the President (any president, not just Tater Joe), and has more influence (financial, cultural, take your pick) than Elon Musk. He is a bigger threat to the ideas and ideal of the United States than any number of cat-eating (or even child-raping) alien invaders.

Your point is well taken. Assassins must deconflict their missions with the DNC before proceeding. Nobody likes to see them get tangled up as they execute their missions. Moving forward, the Joint Air-Ground Integration Center (JAGIC) will coordinate and manage airspace assassins within a division’s area of operations through the current operations integration cell (COIC). The JAGIC chief directs representatives from all of the division’s airspace users. Ground deconfliction operations have been messy in the past, and air assets have not been integrated effectively.
