Ten Percent for the Big Guy

Blog Post

The House Committee on Oversight, the House Accountability Committee, and the House Judiciary Committee on Ways and Means have released a joint report finding that Joe Biden engaged in impeachable conduct and “monetized” the office of the Vice-President. It finds he took tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests and actively worked to conceal the conspiracy. It is a lengthy, damning report.

It doesn’t go far enough.

“First and foremost, overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family. Among other aspects of this conspiracy, the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests by leading those interests to believe that such payments would provide them access to and influence President Biden. As Vice President, President Biden actively participated in this conspiracy by, among other things, attending dinners with his family’s foreign business partners and speaking to them by phone, often when being placed on speakerphone by Hunter Biden.”

“The evidence also establishes that the Biden family went to great lengths to conceal this conspiracy. Foreign money was transmitted to the Biden family through complicated financial transactions. The Biden family laundered funds through intermediate entities and broke up large transactions into numerous smaller transactions. Substantial efforts were also made to hide President Biden’s involvement in his family’s business activities.”

Buried in the report is the most damning accusation of all. Biden took money from and dealt directly with the top men in the CEFC China Energy. CEFC was not a legitimate commercial enterprise. CEFC was part of China’s “elite capture” operations worldwide. Its purpose was to buy foreign leaders and get them to pursue policies directly beneficial to Beijing.

CEFC was a Chinese intelligence front company. Joe took money that came from the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese intelligence.

Tony Bobulinski, with whom Hunter Biden partnered in 2017 to form a joint venture, testified about the motives of the Bidens and CEFC in this joint venture.

“The Chinese Communist Party, through its surrogate, China Energy Company Limited, or CEFC, a CCP-linked Chinese energy conglomerate, successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise Joe Biden and the Obama-Biden White House. This process started in the fourth quarter of 2015 and continued through when Joe Biden left office in January 2017, through March 2018, when CEFC Chairman Ye was detained for corruption in China, never to be seen again. . . . It is also not a coincidence that CEFC used the Biden family’s weakest link, Hunter Biden, and the promise of large sums of money, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars initially and eventually the profits from investing billions of dollars in the United States and around the world.”

There is no question about the connections between CEFC and the Chinese Communist Party. CEFC was infamous for its close connections to the Chinese government. According to CNN, CEFC “aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two.” One scholar observed that ‘CEFC was never a truly “private” firm, but either an extension of the military or of the leading energy [state-owned enterprises.

CEFC “routinely struck deals that made no business sense but helped the Chinese government advance its geopolitical goals.”

Patrick Ho, CEFC’s primary CEFC contact maintained “high-level connections with China’s political warfare apparatus.” Ho was ultimately tried, convicted and imprisoned in the United States for bribing foreign officials on U.S. soil. At the same time the FBI was investigating Ho for these crimes they uncovered evidence that he was in contact with the Bidens. The FBI ignored that evidence and no charges were pressed.

Hunter Biden referred to Ho as “the chief of intelligence of the [P]eople’s [R]epublic of China, and the “spy chief of China.”

“Information available to the Committees indicates that prosecutors sought to keep the Biden name out of Dr. Ho’s trial. Specifically, prosecutors in Dr. Ho’s case appear to have redacted Hunter Biden’s name from evidence used at trial.”

“The China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC) served as “an apparent platform of the Liaison Department of the PLA General Political Department,” which “functions as an interlocking directorate that operates at the nexus of politics, finance, military operations, and intelligence.”

CEFC’s Chairman Ye Jianming, with whom Hunter Biden forged a close relationship, “claimed strong connections with China’s top leadership.” And had “ties to China’s military intelligence.” From 2003 to 2005, Chairman Ye served as deputy secretary general of the China Association for International Friendly Contact, “a political arm of the People’s Liberation Army.” The Association “facilitates influence operations through [China’s] foreign affairs, state security, united front, propaganda systems, and military systems.”

All of this is damning enough. The Bidens climbed into bed with the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese intelligence and got rich doing it. What the Chinese got in return for all that money remains unclear, primarily because no one in American counterintelligence seems the least bit interested in investigating it.

Here’s the real problem, though. The Chinese are doing exactly the same thing on an industrial scale all over this country. The Bidens are not unique.

Tim Walz, the Democratic Party’s candidate for Vice President, is an example of how far this rot has spread. He has traveled to China at least thirty times, leading trips involving dozens of students and extolling the virtues of Communist rule. Walz describes Communism as a system where “everyone shares” and gets free food and housing.

Sometimes, you must repair the Combat Rubber Raiding Raft while on it.

SEALs assemble a combatant rubber raiding craft near the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Greeneville (SSN 772) during fleet interoperability training in the Pacific Ocean. Sometimes, the limp ducks come out of the aircraft, drydock shelter or submarine escape trunk and don’t inflate fully.

From History: Cassius Clay (not black)

Cassius Clay, a Republican politician, accepted no crap from anyone on some surreal John Wick level. In 1843, Clay was addressing his constituents in Kentucky, standing at an embankment. An assassin ran up from within the crowd and fired at him, hitting him in the chest. Clay beat the man with his silver-tipped cane, then wrestled him into submission. Holding him down with one hand, he took his Bowie knife, cutting off the gunman’s nose, eye, and ear. Then, he lifted the man off the ground, throwing him off the embankment. Due to threats on his life, he had become accustomed to carrying two pistols and a knife for protection. He installed a cannon (swivel gun) to protect his home and office.

  1. Regarding the Biden Report. So? All of this was known when he was a senator. All of this was known as he was serving as VP to the Lightbringer. Same with the Lightbringer, exactly how did he and the Mooch get so damned much money? Again, all of this was and is known. Really, Netflix, exactly where did that money come from that went to the BtMN foundation?

    Again… So?

Oh, my God, there’s corruption in Congress and the White House? Gee, I thought Nancy Pelosi made all of her money on returning all the bottles she drained and not from insider trading.

    Seriously, what next, birds fly?

As to Hesco Barriers, well, just modern gambions. Pre-assembled gambions, but just gambions. Wooo…. Again, nothing new under the sun.

Cassius Clay, what a bad-ass. Of course, modern anti-weapon laws would leave him totally undefended in many places. Of course, being a bad-ass, he’d just find ways around said laws and just do what he does.

That little machine gun carrier, looks Italian.

As to the movie, “When Eagles Dare.”

    1. I’m with High Execution Beans entirely. Every point is right on the money. Everybody knows that DC is corrupt to the core and has been forever. “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” It draws to it those who want to profit from it.

The most intractable problems revolve around the statement “The FBI ignored that evidence and no charges were pressed.” And the fact that the phrase is everywhere. Like your reference to the capital police inviting people into the capital on Jan 6 and then arresting them. And especially the judges literally putting them in jail and throwing away the key.

The amount of reset required to fix this is beyond what can be done. If someone should, somehow, be elected that threatens this, they’ll be blocked at every turn. Which means the Republic is done. Look around: the western world is done. It’s the new dark ages.

      1. I don’t see us coming back.

Do you recall the German barbarian Arminius? 8–11, 9 AD – An alliance of Germanic tribes ambushed three Roman legions (XVII, XVIII, and XIX) led by Publius Quinctilius Varus and their auxiliaries. The barbarian tribal alliance was led by Arminius, a Germanic officer of Varus’s auxilia. Arminius had acquired Roman citizenship and had received a Roman military education, which enabled him to deceive the Roman commander methodically and anticipate the Roman army’s tactical responses.
        *
Arminius, an educated man, is reported as having said, “Are you surprised when Caesar takes your sons and they return to you as Roman?” The rise of the feminist movement created an economic situation where mothers had to leave the home and work – because everything cost more. Nixon took the US off the silver standard and replaced it with fiat currency, worth a small fraction of what it had been and dollars became cheap (good for exports, I guess). Increasingly, the state began to raise the children and millennials and Gen Z are government woke. The universities have sealed the deal. To fix the situation we find ourselves in, we need to take a lesson from Arminius, invoke the Tenth Amendment and remove the Federal Government from funding education once and for all. End of rant.

        1. Good rant.
I may have said before that Bill Bennett told me that he told Reagan he wanted to shut down the Dept. of Education and Reagan said it was politically impossible.

      2. >>“The FBI ignored that evidence and no charges were pressed.”<< That says it all… Separate justice along political lines says society is already broken.

          1. X3 ALL! SISU MAGA ™ / Time for a Reset ™…every last bit of that corrupt pile of marble and stone and cyclone fencing. Send the thieves, cheats, and Armani suited criminals packing.

      3. Could someone please explain the plan by which a government which can’t design vehicles or staff armies with killers is still able to project power to impose a “dark age”? Did you see a green band of farms on the horizon in the Mad Max movies? How did all those villains eat?
        .
Do you get a dark age after some organized crime ring is broken up and the principles are put in prison? Or when the attack pressure ends do people just revert to doing whatever, which mostly amounts to working enough to feed themselves and fix the roof?

    1. Yes.

The end of the Civil War (War of Northern Aggression) was near, when quite accidentally, a hero who sneezed, abruptly seized retreat and reversed it to victory. Not ‘settled history’ but entertaining in its way.

  2. The entire blog should be saved for posterity; nothing but awesomeness! Thank you for posting this.

    And P.S. ~ F Troop

  3. The Stug III has what appears to be tread extensions and double wheels to accommodate.
The movie is Where Eagles Dare and of course F Troop.
The Wright bros. cartoon is hilarious.

    1. The Stug III has been fitted with tracks from a T-34. Wheel modifications were also necessary. By that time in the war, they could harvest enough enemy tracks to make the modification “real” on their armor. The Germans were running short of war materials. They’d long since stopped making the Pzkw III, but they were making Stug IIIs (the same and not the same), and they didn’t rely on speed as a function of war readiness the way that the turreted tanks did.

  5. “The House Committee on Oversight, the House Accountability Committee, and the House Judiciary Committee on Ways and Means have released a joint report finding that Joe Biden engaged in impeachable conduct and “monetized” the office of the Vice-President.”

291 pages…. will anyone read the whole thing? will anyone go to jail? What’s the penalty for treason?

    1. Not even under the coming Trump Administration. It may be threatened to force some concession from the permanent Washington DC establishment (Deep State), but that’s as far as it will go.

      1. And that’s why Biden was forced out of the re-election lottery in July – such damning charges were being drafted that warranted a real impeachment if he were re-elected.
[RANT] Rather than risk an egregious Democrat-egg-on-the-face possibility, Biden was forced to drop out, but for spite, pushed Harris as his replacement. [/RANT]
That being said, this in combo with his Classified Documents charges and Hunter’s Follies, show a two-teir “Just-Us” system. How to correct that? My simple mind has some unprintable solutions. I only hope that Trump survives the election process and term in office, and that with a cooperative Congress, institute some real changes. Hope springs Eternal. In the meantime, hiding in Northern Nevada.

        1. Pass the buck around the corrupt cul-de-sac, round and round it goes, when it stops…well, that may take an act of God.

  6. i wonder why the tires were mounted on the afv? ….biden on another vacay, harris m.i.a. , trump laying wreaths at arlington. not just once but several times with family of the biden debacle. biden won’t even admit anybody died. that oughta to show everybody who the real leader is and put an end to this crapshow.

      1. That was a thing during the interwar years.

Walter Christie, an American designer, was big on wheeled/tracked vehicles, where the road wheels drive the track and said track could be removed to allow the vehicle to go faster on roads. His ideas didn’t get much traction here in the States but found strong breeding grounds in the USSR.

  7. I was compiling a list of “Whatever Happened To” Memory Hole events.
You have greatly aided my effort.
    .
As usual one of the links led me down a rabbit trail.
Reading Claudio’s link led to a succession of other links, but I found my way back.

    1. Follow the White Rabbit, but don’t drink the Kool Aid (one pill makes you larger, the other makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you don’t do anything at all) – if you don’t believe me, Go ask Alice…or Grace Slick

  8. Biden: Sure. Fine. But why now? Public humiliation as punishment for trying to hang on to … to whatever quasi-undead, brain damaged semblance of power he (Dr Jill) yet retains? (That seems stupid and petty as a motive. But who knows, because They ARE that petty.) But how does this help the Kamala cause? Isn’t that the bigger goal?

Or do They think this corruption thing (I’m shocked to find gambling in Rick’s casino) can executed quickly enough to install Harris, thereby forcing Trump to “run against an incumbent”? That sounds stupid too.

China: Let’s by all means look systematically and thoroughly at undue influence upon the US government by agents of a would-be ethnostate whose dominant members have a multi-millennia continuous ethnic identity, and who openly consider all outsiders subhumans, and who (therefore?) cheerfully and unapologetically engage in ethnic cleansing. Let’s clean this mess up. We have the clarity of thought, the strength of will, and the resolve to see the job through to the end, no matter what (glaringly obvious) secrets we uncover. And then we can flap our arms and fly to the moon while singing Ode to Joy.

      1. The Ode to Joy part is not optional. It is part of the grand vision of unified Europa of “Eurasian-Negroids” under the wise and benevolent leadership of an “aristocracy of the spirit”. Zero points awarded if you guess what that “aristocracy” might actually consist of. (Unless you are in Starmer’s UK in which case you don’t get zero points, but rather 24 months in the pokey.)

I don’t particularly resent Coudenhove-Kalergi for his vision, evil though it is. I resent his lunging out of the moral equivalent of a filthy dark alleyway, putting his grubby mitts around the neck of a transcendent work of Art, slobbering on it while committing frottage, and leaving his spiritually-syphilitic stain on its nether parts. How has the West fallen so quickly where you have go to bloody Japan to find such a public rejoicing in Schiller’s words and Beethoven’s music. We have been taught to despise and reject our own culture(s), our history, our achievements, our art, our philosophy, our morality, our very existence as a people, in favor of a new world order wherein victimhood (claimed, not necessarily even actual) and suffering are the signs and symbols of spiritual “nobility” and the markers of the New Aristocracy. Not that I have strong feelings about this, of course.

    1. “… forcing Trump to “run against an incumbent”.
That might not be so bad.
We’ll have gotten the “first black, woman, moron, president” thing out of the way.

    2. Do we even know if our _Resident is alive? Seems kinda important to actually have a living body sitting behind the Resolute Desk. Talk about making us vulnerable to our enemies….then again, that’s the reason for the chaos, show the soft underbelly ripe for targeting (watch, an October surprise might just be an attack on our soil to upend the election “process”).

  9. I see nothing in existence or on the horizon that will allow this country to return to its previous strength even if Trump is elected(and he will be). Trump will just be sued and blocked from accomplishing anything by the swamp. If illegal aliens get to vote and they will it is really all over with. The only thing left is a violent civil war which will also destroy us. The only good thing about it will be trigger time and a great reduction in the swamp. Not much of a choice but it likely is inevitable. Just my two pesos worth.

  10. As an ongoing heads-up, my software problem with the blog has not been solved as of this morning. Unless I can fix it, the blog you’ll see tomorrow is one of those that is under construction – and it will look wonky.

  11. Native American Portrayals. Wife and I recently re-watched “The Hallelujah Trail” (free on YouTube). Martin Landau plays “Walks-Stooped-Over”. Not Native American, but an absolute peach, Donald Pleasence as Oracle Jones.

  12. Never seen that “mulus” before, what a weird vehicle. That’s the sort of thing that could make
    a man jealous of a Kettenkrad, or a CV-35, or a Universal Carrier….

    – Kle.

    1. I’ve wanted a Kettenkrad and a Universal Carrier. They seem fun to drive (that is, if you can fit in a UC.)

  13. I’ll say those are the winter cleats (extensions) on the STUG III. The extensions were added to the outer tracks to provide them with more surface area. They were to work much like the principal of snow shoes. The wider the track, the more the vehicle weight is distributed on a greater surface of the ground. They were mainly used for deep snow in the winter but could also be added to assist with mobility in muddy conditions.
They were known as Winterketten (winter tracks).

    1. So they’re not repurposed T-34 tracks. I’m not disagreeing with you. I could be the victim of bad info.

      1. One of my friends is German and is a WWII nerd. I send him every picture of Wehrmacht weaponry you post. He’s not Surly (he’s a machine!) but he’s batting 95%.
Either way, we both enjoy your site. We bitch and complain when our former employer, the feral gubbermint, shuts you down…..

          1. Ostketten / Winterketten – I learned something today. Thank you. The rasputitsa, which the Russians and Ukrainians contend with in their war, is not a small thing in terms of messing with the mobility of all land vehicles.

  14. Good to see you when we can.
Agree, nothing will happen regardless of the report.
    Loved F-Troop.
And now White Rabbit is stuck in my head.

You all be safe and God bless.

  15. Varus , give me back my legions, said some Roman dude in charge.
There is a huge bronze statue of Herman the German, or Armins Dinkmal ,in the Swarzwald I think ,but it’s been 45 years , they probably took it down so as not to offend anyone ,,,u know he was violent.

  16. You lay it all out. The general public shrugs. My father liked to expound on his “Belly flapping principal”. When people get hungry enough, their views and beliefs change. The ‘elites’ understand this. Keep the proles stomachs from flapping and they will go along to get along.

  17. Great summation of what is going on in presidential politics, thank you. And yet nothing will happen. I join others in thinking that the Republic is on its deathbed, poisoned by graft and an addiction to power. Why suggesting impeachment at this late date? The only thing I can think of is that the House felt it was necessary to show “hey we are doing something” without actually doing anything. The best we can hope for is that we kick the final dissolution can down the road a few years.

Unfortunately, we will not be allowed to fix our problems by ourselves. Other countries will “help”. I kinda agree with SIG that this might be the start of a slide into a new dark age.
    /
Because of the actions of the DC police on Jan 6th I would not go there on a bet. What the heck ever happened to a right to a speedy trial?

    1. I’m going to be interviewing a retired Army Special Forces Sergeant who was at Jan 6 but never went in. Oath Keeper. No video or audio of him doing anything.
The FBI asked him to snitch for them. He said no and played the recording of the meeting on air a few times.
The judge in DC found him as a Domestic Terrorist which gave the judge the right to issue a warrant in Tallahassee.
The warrant is faulty all over the place. Stale. Vague. They found a sawed off he admits to (they should never have been allowed to find it) and a couple grenades that all the forensics say he never touched.
      It’s almost time.

      1. Geez, we have a police state not a Constitutional Republic (ask me how I know). Gotta be a way to undo the mess those have wrought to give themselves extra-constitutional powers to levy fire down upon Joe Schmo with impunity (altho, Cliven Bundy had some help to beat back the over-stepper’s who were working for Harry Reid in some land grab.)

  18. USDOJ apparently superceded the indictment of Pres. Trump in an effort to circumvent the Constitutional problems with their Florida case. No mention was made of a trial date. My sense is that given the circumstances and timing, anything brought (or arrests made of Pres. Trump with incarceration) would constitute the worst sort of election interference. The Florida case is SHIT on its face. I am not predicting any sort of cause and effect for that sort of fedgov action, but it could get messy.

  19. I have to agree with Beans and the others…sigh… And yes, HESCOs work! As long as you have something large to fill them with! Otherwise, that’s a LOT of shovels full of dirt!
