Caption: For the better part of three years, Biden and his Homeland Security chief claimed the border was closed and secure as millions poured in illegally. With voters naming the border crisis a top issue in the 2024 presidential election, Biden’s rhetoric has taken a noticeable shift. Ok, it’s not Biden. He eats pudding and takes naps. He has difficulty reading a teleprompter. It’s the people running the regime in his name…who want to run it in the name of the Ho/Weasle.
Government Efficiency? It’s a New Concept
Former President Donald Trump and my favorite African American, Elon Musk, discussed creating a “government efficiency commission” to reduce wasteful government spending. Musk said that the national debt is one of the biggest challenges facing Americans and that a commission should examine how to reduce government spending.
“Inflation is caused by government spending. Would you agree that we need to take a look at government spending and perhaps have a government efficiency commission that tries to make the spending sensible so the country lives within its means just like a person?” Musk asked Trump.
Trump agreed that the government needs to reduce its spending and reflected on how he reduced the price for Air Force One by over a billion dollars by simply refusing to pay the price he was initially given.
The pair noted that wasteful spending adds trillions of dollars to the national debt and that interest payments are now greater than the defense budget. Trump also noted that energy prices are currently high under the Biden administration and claimed he would bring them back down through drilling if elected in November.
“I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency that looks at these things and ensures that the taxpayer money, the taxpayers’ … hard-earned money, is spent in a good way,” Musk said. “And I’d be happy to help on such a commission.” However, Musk predicts that THE MATRIX WILL FIGHT BACK.
Jules is getting fancy – more here. Bridget Bardot’s car, being driven by Jules down those narrow roads in Old Blighty filled with tipsy beach goers/sun worshipers. It could have been worse.

In a back-channel conversation with me, GFW2 suggested that the US Constitution was intended to limit the power of government, not the American people. GFW2’s comment—if taken seriously—would pose an existential threat to the permanent Washington establishment (Deep State), and sharing those sorts of thoughts could damage the capacity of both Beltway Bandits and Wall Street to turn a profit. It would damage the capability of The Big Guy to send his drug-addict son (and artist) globe-trotting to scrape together 10%. Limiting government power could also result in the hated term limits for Congressional parasites. We must elect Ho/Weasle to stop people like GFW2 in their tracks.
Speaking of which, the price of Hunter Biden’s art masterpieces plummeted to the point that they’re not worth more than the paint-by-number projects that I gave my kids to do. They’re not selling at strip mall swap meets. This is the sort of damage that conservatives can cause to America’s great families if left unchecked.

(VM Editorial Note: James L. Kraft immigrated to the United States from the invalid nation-state of Canada and patented a radical means of pasteurizing cheese, which allowed the cheese to be shipped long distances and remain stable for days to months or even years on end and taste the same. Thus, cheese was ready and affordable to Americans. He was not scooped up from the ruins of a bunker in Berlin by the victorious American Army at the conclusion of WW2.)

More on Olympic Breakdancing
Some haters (you know who you are) have been critical of Olympic Breakdancing. People of Color (POCs) banding together against the white lady have been critical of Dr. Rachael (RAYGUN) Gunn, PhD’s stunning breakdancing performance, primarily because she is white and borders on middle-aged. Gunn is also a lecturer at Sydney’s Macquarie University, and her thesis, ‘Deterritorializing Gender in Sydney’s Breakdancing Scene: a B-girl’s Experience of B-boying,’ focuses on the intersection of gender and Sydney’s breaking culture. The judges, none of whom was racially pure white or experienced in judging transitional interpretive breakdancing, condemned her performance for not being more “ethnic.” That’s a racial dog whistle if I’ve ever heard one. The replacement of the judges present with a white panel would have likely placed her in medal contention – silver, bronze, or even the coveted gold medal for many people’s favorite Olympic sport. It’s clearly a matter of racial and gender identification bias, age discrimination, and ableism.
Raygun’s classic mantis-kangaroo intersectionality move—pictured right—expressed her Aussie heritage, gender self-identification, and personal interpretation of the breakdancing scene in Sydney. She has maintained a relatively low profile after her heroic and memorable efforts in Paris. Still, experts predict the breakdancer will be hot property, with some of the world’s biggest international companies expected to capitalize on her high profile to obtain product endorsements.

VM Editorial Comment: When the VM staff saw Raygun’s performance at the Paris Olympics, we agreed that we’d never seen better, deeper, and more thought-provoking expressions in interpretive breakdancing. Best in Australia? Yes! Best in the entire world? Quite possibly!

Identify the Film Series

Do you have a favorite character or actor in the series or in the “series universe?”
Mine were Raymond Cruz & Jonathan Banks. (Tuco & Mike)
Parting Shot

44 years ago I lived at boarding house for University students. (I was one of the two old people having already done 3 years in Australian Army).
Two other male residents were break dancers who did it for fun. From memory as good or better as any of the olympic “athletes” I saw on TV. Education majors if I remember it correctly.
Any sport that has judges rating a performance will be corrupt. It’s just how much. It appears her husband was the main judge in Australia and numerous, well known young dancers were somehow not invited to the trials.
Spent part of last night and most of today at hospital and going back tomorrow. Using antibiotics every hour so apologies if I’m rambling.
I’m sorry that you’re not feeling well, RCC. You take good care and be gentle with yourself.
**
I was very tongue-in-cheek with my break-dancing comments.
Piece of rusty steel bounced under safety glasses Saturday night and into right eye.
They took it out but it got infected yesterday even though I was on antibiotics.
Now I have blurred vision and am on major antibiotic for the next two to four days.
——
Make as many comments as you like about the “dancer”. It is not going over well in Australia. One of the politer comments was shouldn’t she be in the special olympics?
After today, I think that I’ll let sleeping dogs lie about breakdancing. It won’t be in future Olympics. Somehow, it never struck me as a sport. Though physically demanding (even for a 38-year-old woman), ballroom dancing isn’t an Olympic sport either.
Oh no! Eye injuries are extra scary (at least to me). Take care of yourself.
—
So far as “Raygun” goes, that’s the first I’ve seen of her routine. No wonder They have been scrubbing it from view. Cringeworthy. (Not that I could do better, but I would have neither put myself on display like that, nor taken the opportunity from someone more talented.) Regarding breakdancing generally, even though I try to avoid exposure to it, I have seen some remarkable and obviously highly athletic and skilled performances. In and of itself, it can be art, I guess. I just object to the social/cultural associations. If I’m ever to get religion, I will not become an adherent of the cult of negrolatry. Bleh.
I had a lot of potential when I was in grammar school. I could have done as well as Raygun back then…with a little encouragement, I COULD HAVE BEEN A CONTENDER, ROCKY! (Oh, I got away from myself, Mike_C)
*thank you for returning to a daily dose; my kawphy (as well as my disposition) has acquired a far better taste
*in re breakdancing: beauty is all in the eye of the beholder
back in the ’60s (IOW, pre-breakdancing) I once had the opportunity/chance to witness an extreme grand mal (in a hospital setting)(she died despite best efforts)
I find I have no appreciation for this manner of public exhibition; Chubby Checkers, OTOH
Boron, you’re revealing your age. Many bloggers here were just a sparkle in their father’s eye in the 60s…
in the mid-’60s (not that anyone’s keeping score) I’d already finished 4 yrs college, 4 yrs dental school, and was already an O3 in the Air Force.
today I still keep running after them (with my walker) when my wife isn’t tugging too hard on my leash
my granpa shushed me at my fifth birthday when I told him how old I was that day, proudly and loudly, “Shh! not so loud. the מַלְאַךְ הַמָּוֶת is always listening.”
I still follow that rule.
“Shh! not so loud. the מַלְאַךְ הַמָּוֶת is always listening.”
Huh. That’s new to me.
Is that a commonplace saying? Or his particular sense of humor?
God’s sense of humor or Boron’s?
(I think) my granpa meant, in general, don’t be seen boasting (in this case, of your age); the angels will make note of it.
during the war years, and on into the Korean, a lot of young children were still dying of polio (the most well-remembered in this country), but starvation and vitamin-deficiency related diseases in eastern Europe took their toll.
the Polish survivors in and around Danzig were not particularly enamored of the Germans (who’d been there for centuries); not even the German Catholics, but definitely not the Lutherans, my granpa’s brothers and uncles and their kids, or so family history would have it.
Im first generation American from German parents that were both from Danzig and the families histories go back to the earl 1600s so far. Not sure why i even mentioned it except people dont even say Danzig anymore. Its a very very old city that has a rich history of being conquered for its location on the Baltic.
If you follow my tracks, I’m just trying for a seat closer to the stove. The truth will set you free. J8.32 coding out.

Musk and Trump on a committee to look at government spending.
As the meme says, Musk got rid of 75% of Twitter’s staff when he took over and it’s still fine – if not better than before. It might be a good starting point to just get rid of 75% of the unelected Fed.gov. All government agencies.
Some of the remainder will undoubtedly slow their job to piss off the public and get some fighting back, then they know who the next bunch to layoff is.
A 50% reduction in the federal workforce would be the right starting point. I’m not arguing against 75%.
X2
That’s fine as long as you make sure to reduce the correct federal workers. Not do it like school districts do, that is fire the actual workers while hiring more administrators.
The Donks would love to reduce the fed workforce, starting with pretty much most of the military.
The excisions must be surgical. Anyone hired during the Biden and Obama regimes goes first. DEI hires hit the street before anyone else. Yes, you’re right. They’d preserve the sacred cows that cause the whole mess.
Note that the fucking King is asking American cops to arrest Americans, for exerting

After the Met Police Chief Mark Rowley made his, now ill-fated, statements about what should be done with those outside his jurisdiction, I paid a visit to Englands Metropolitan Police website.
While there, I reported a “hate crime”.
I provided the following:
Perpetrator: Commisioner Mark Rowley
Location: Met Police HQ (address provided with the use of their built-in map tool!)
Evidence: I provided a link to an actual VIDEO of the crime!
Victims: Any freedom loving individual within, or without, his supposed realm of influence.
My feelings: A lively screed on how, if Commisioner Rowley is feeling “froggy”, I am more than happy to see him jump.
…and my contact information.
I was informed that the Met Police would contact me within 2-3 days time.
Imagine my surprise when, the very next day, the Met Police banned any contact to their website from North America.
Does this mean that they will not be following up on the grievous crime to which I was a victim?!
Will my “feelings” not be compensated?!
Yeah…and the horse you rode in on too!

More on the British Police and the Insurrection in Great Britain on VM tomorrow.
I have a U.S. M1917 that still has red paint on the front handguard from it’s time serving over there. It will be staying right here. They had there chance when we bailed them out. Twice.
After we shipped them boatloads of civilian-owned guns and ammo after their loss at Dunkirk, and then they destroyed them, eh, fark them.
Breaking Bad-
I’d have to agree with you LL. Tuco and Mike were my favorites along with Todd. Dr. Tim Watley from “Seinfeld,” was hilarious. I think Mike C would agree with me on that one. Hope you feel better soon RCC. I guess you can’t use Bundaberg Rum to kill the pain since you’re on antibiotics.
Mike Ehrmantraut, of course.
I don’t know who Dr Tim Watley is/was. I couldn’t stand the characters on the Seinfeld show. (Seinfeld the comedian was okay, but the show characters were insufferable. That was probably part of the the joke, I guess, but still ….)
I’ll go with the character Mike Ehrmantraut. I was glad that his story was part of “Better Call Saul”.
Back in 2019, I took my wife to a niece’s bridal shower in ABQ.
I took the tour of Breaking Bad filming sites around town. I even had lunch at Mike’s favorite restaurant Loyola’s.
I didn’t know there was a tour. I don’t get that far down I-40 often, but if I do, I’ll sign up for the tour.
Breakdancing…she can characterize anyway she chooses, I call it stupid and juvenile, especially for an older woman trying to recapture her metaphorical youth.
“It’s the people running the regime in his name”, that would be the cabal…
“GFW2 suggested that the US Constitution was intended to limit the power of government, not the American people”.
Over the years the courts have (quietly) changed what the Constitution allows/means… As an example the Constitution does not mention “education” at all, then education should be for the states to decide, but the Education Industry could make a lot of money (power) for some folk so now it’s part of the Executive branch with the 2024 budget being $223.92 Billion. Plus it gets to tell schools how to do it…
Education is a Tenth Amendment issue.
Seal reactions: But headphones were not enough. They needed to test whether the male seals would be able to get, and maintain, an erection while listening to sonic booms. “Good news, we got a research grant! But … we’re going to have to kidnap, and jack off, seals. No, calm down, Margaret, not SEALs, seals.”

Musk then goes off on a tangent about anal probes. (He may or may not be Our Guy. But he’d be fun to have a few beers with.) The truth is NOT out there. Yet. But there are a few cracks (so to speak) in the wall of secrecy. FOIA the heck out of these dirty bastages!
https://www.kenrockwell.com/analprobe/dissent.htm
Are space aliens (posing as MDs) managing colonoscopies? I’ve had two (no problem), and they seemed to be a rather routine medical procedure. I guess that’s how they get to you. As to the seal study, it will take ten years and fifty million dollars – at least.
Colonoscopies are entirely routine, you are correct-um.
Colonoscopies are not an entirely routine procedure, it is what anal doctors like to make you think it is. They are an extremely invasive and unnecessary procedure. There other far less invasive tests to determine presence of cancer cells and yes, even polyps. Too many issues with colon wall tears and bleeds, blow outs from too high of pressure. Colonoscopies are the modern tonsillectomy scam doctors pulled in the 50s and 60s. Just to make a buck. Colonoscopies should only be preformed when you do have tests that confirm a diagnoses of cancer, polyps and idiopathic rectal bleeds.
I’ll disagree, Cederq. I spent the last 18 yrs of my 48 as an RN working in Endoscopy (it’s where old ER nurses go before they retire.) It’s safer to get that colo done than to ignore it; the other methods of polyp-finding divert to colonoscopy if they find something, and are less exact anyhow.
My wife’s experience might be a unicorn sighting but for her it’s 100% real: colo done when she turned 50, one tiny polyp removed, and when the call came at 7:30pm from the doc I knew, I sat down. Yep, cancer, found super early. Surgery a week later found the surrounding site had clean margins, no chemo or other treatment needed. She’s just turned 73, all of it a gift.
Her experience is not proof but it is a data point: choose otherwise as you wish.
I knew a woman who’s job at the Lubee Bat Conservatory (yes, a real thing, sponsored by Bacardi) was electro-ejaculating the flying rodents. Yes, she was a bat fluffer. We could get her to freak out by making little “bzzzt” sounds. Especially since she was ex-Mennonite, so a very low threshold for embarrassment.
–
Yes, I am an arsehole. Proud (in a non-gay way) arsehole.
In any sane world, I’d call bullshit. BUT – yes, I can see the taxpayers paying millions to have some Mennonite woman masturbate bats.
Most of the operating money comes from Bacardi, so drink up!
–
The conservatory has done a lot to restore bat populations in Florida. And it shows in reduced mosquito numbers.
–
It’s one of those non-ecofascist animal research places that isn’t moonbat crazy.
–
As to weird women, I knew one lady who scared a deer to death. True story. And she wasn’t ugly, either. Another got attacked at a gas station and, well, she kept kicking him until she felt better. So a bat fluffer doesn’t really seem unusual.
Breakdancing in the Olympics. Another example of Olympic mission creep. In another 50 years everything we do for recreation will be a “sport” in the Olympics.
/
In trouble with the King. What is it with these sanctimonious little bureaucrats? Just another wannabe autocrat. Like one of the Vice Presidential candidates (cough cough Walz). Saw the video of the police shooting paintballs at people on their porches during COVID under his orders. That type of autocracy says a lot about him and about the cops that followed his orders.
“We were just following der Furher’s orders.” That dog just doesn’t hunt – ever.
The Olympics ought to go back to their more militaristic origins. None of that limp-wristed air rifle or electro-firing pistol bullshit. Shoot with at least 9mm for pistol, at least 7mm for rifle. IPSS or 3-gun competitions. Things like that.
agreed.
Yep.
The sprints were done in full armor. And bring back chariot racing!!!
I showed the Musk Seal video to my wife. After laughing her ass off, she made the very succinct comment, “Only in California.”

Musk is proof that ADHD can be harnessed for good.
Headphones on seals. A former Boeing engineer, who ran a company that employed me, left Boeing because of a bird controversy. He devised a cannon to fire birds at aircraft windshields that simulated bird strikes, using turkeys. Very successfully, to be sure, but his miscalculation was using live birds. That caused some bad press.
I assure you that firing a live turkey from a cannon, is the least of what my wife wants to do them when she catches them crapping on her clean patio, something they do far too frequently to suit her.
It’s quite entertaining, however…….
My dad was training in the T-33 when he had a bird strike. Stupid seagull hit the leading edge of one of his wings, cracked the metal, went squooosh into said hole and the liquified remains splashed all over inside the wing. Since he was landing at the time he wasn’t hooked up to the onboard forced air system.
–
Couple days later, went to fly again, checked out aforementioned forced air system by putting his air mask on and inhaling a huge gulp of air. And then immediately barfed. Barfed for a couple hours. Because aforementioned seagull stew had rotted in the hot desert sun. The plane maintainers had to disassemble the wing and steam clean it and replace the air system.
–
Dad kind of hated seagulls before that. Afterwards it became a deep hatred.
My Dear LL,
I do hope you’ve been shorting Hunter’s appalling excuse for art.
Sure-fire trade, what?
Nice opening infographic, speaking of art.
Owie, sorry to hear about the eye injury RCC. I know how badly a scratched cornea feels, can’t imagine how bad you’re feeling! And yes, Hunter’s ‘art’ is finally at its actual ‘value’… snerk…
