2. Had a local couple lose their home to an electrical fire in the non hydranted area of our district. It was fully involved before their son spotted it from the highway on his way to a repair call he was headed on. We had 12 tenders and engines from four neighboring departments as well as ours respond. People who interrupted their busy lives to help somebody having the worst day of theirs. There are still good folks left out in flyover country!

3. I have fasting bloodwork this morning and want coffee so badly but I have to wait. Most people don’t have a clue hoe much coffee it actually takes to be me.

4. Has Boston sufficiently Diversity Inclusion and Equity’d itself into none of the sacred races giving a damn what liberal white women think any longer? Speaking of Diversity, hasn’t that been Gaza’s problem all these years? I mean can you even get a taco on a Tuesday there? Lord help you if you are looking for bagel and lox. Maybe they should have allowed some immigration? If they need some help fixing the place I’m reliably informed that those millions crossing our borders have great work ethics. Perhaps TX and FL could fly some “migrants” over to improve the place?

5. If I had any positive sense of “ethnic cohesion” I’d be deeply ashamed of Michelle Wu. As it is, I despise her for doing things that actually do cause (justified) “Asian Hate”. Maybe people tend to hate you for things that you do, and they way you behave, and not for “no reason at all”. The only thing that keeps me from calling her a bitch is my personal policy of not referring to any woman as a bitch.

   And it’s just dumb. So dumb. East Asians are resented by Sun People. She can suck up and virtue signal all she wants. The stupid people will still hate her. And she’ll never be accepted by the smart people. (Some of the men will marry Asian females, but the group at large will never consider you truly one of their own.) If you’re East Asian in the US or the West generally, and you want to maximize the future for yourself and your posterity, the only rational strategy is to tribe up with normal whites. Or at least not work against them. So dumb.

   1. You don’t always need to call a spade a spade. It’s been fairly obvious what Mzzz Wu has been all along. Immediately blaming her assistant for the faux pas, though, that’s really special.

6. Since it’s an Free Period, couple of my own Bulletpoints:

   – Haavaad needs to be closed for a year so it can get a full-on house cleaning, starting with half the prof staff. Thereafter take 90% of that banked largess for tuition payback reparations to every student who went there thinking they were getting an actual education. “Miss Disgrace” needs to have a Scarlet ‘H’ pasted on her sorry rear-end, never again be employed by a supposed institute of higher learning. Better yet, she can go work for the IRS…at McMurdo, but without the Canada Goose Expedition parka. There’s your DEI. Reality bites.

   – THIS…a Master Class on how to deal with Lefty media types who can only parrot their tired shill points while interrupting when truth and facts are stated (“But, but, there’s no eevviiddeennccee!”)…I give you Vivek (love him or hate him the guy mops the floor with this info-babe):

   Robert H- Sooo…how come the Boys In Sunglasses with AR-15’s didn’t show up at The Priviledged One’s house at 3AM to drag his sorry a$$ to jail for contempt? Oh wait…forgot…He’s Spehshaaall. This bum deployed the standard “I’m guilty as sin but untouchable” criminal sales job technique of going after the “cops” with force, desperate to wrest control by being confrontational, effectively telling Congressional committee members to go [expletive] themselves. The guy belongs in a Turkish prison, a personal Naked & Afraid.

   Other than that the sun is supposed to be out after 2 days of hoar frost inversion (Coloradan’s start to get depressed after a few days of no sun.)

   1. Before you go at the private Harvard and other Ivy League schools, first clean out the US service academies, which we pay for. No commies working for them, no DEI/Tranny/Gay agenda. Instructors must have military background only. All must actually be, you know, patriotic.

      And no affirmative action/race issues. Entrance is by meeting the standards, the same across the board, whether white, asian, hispanic, african-american, male or female. No exemptions.

      Do that and then go after all the state universities and any institute of higher learning that sucks on the government money teat.

      Don’t want a colonoscopy? Don’t take government money. Any government’s money.

      Then if said university wants to promote pro-Gaza, pro-Iran, pro-Venezuela, pro-ChiCom agendas, well, that’s a first amendment issue. But not if one dime of money comes from public coffers.

7. Paul’s Colorado comment reminded me of the recent influx of illegals arriving in Carbondale looking for jobs. Years ago, Aspen pushed all the workers out of their town by raising rents and taxes forcing the workers to live nearby. Now Carbondale has illegals flooding that town. Maybe they will realize that the big jobs are in Aspen and drive over there.

   Colorado used to be a nice place to live and now it is full of those who are better than everyone else.

   1. You can accept trust fund snots as a product of their parents. That said, they should mind their own business and leave working people alone. Faint hope.

      1. Well, I don’t think that there is any hope as the know betters are well off, don’t mind their own beeswax, and must have their servants or slaves nearby to be able to work but not so near as to disrupt their view of the charming mountain towns.

         1. Annie’s Cafe, stalwart Aspen eatery…gone to “progress”, swallowed up because the land it sat on for forever was worth too much.

8. I have come to the conclusion (took me a while, I am slow) that most people want discrimination of one sort of another, they just want to be the ones in charge of the discriminating. The exception, those that want advancement solely on merit, are losing ground day by day to the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE, there, I fixed the acronym) crowd. Don’t know ho to turn this downward spiral around without a huge amount of pain for everyone. It will only take a generation; if we are lucky.

   1. DIE is right. Imagine being the massive number of kids and young adults forced by fear into being gypped out of schooling for two years because the teachers they looked up to (and were supposed to – or maybe they do – uphold parental values) were afraid of getting a cold by threat of government morons. The ramifications of the lockdown idiocy will be felt for decades…and I suspect The Dem’s love the thought as it creates control.

         1. I have come to despise 3-letter acronyms.

            1. I think of them as a shortcut way to remember what needs to be expunged from civilization, DIE, FBI, DOE (education), DOE (energy), HHS etc. We would be pretty well served if we followed the Argentinian president Milei’s example and got rid of 7 agencies right off the bat.

I’m thinking America would be a better place if we turned K-Street into a park and the rest of DC into self-guided museums and walking tours…maybe with a Der Wienerschnitzel and a few other good eateries sprinkled about. Send the grifters back home and place certain (remaining worthwhile) agencies to a more direct locale. That center of power has gotten way too big for even Nadler’s britches.

            4. Why stop at K street?

            5. Phase 1 EdB, Phase 2 expands the premise, and we’ll remain flexible as any good redevelopment should with contingencies.
