I’ve been to NYC. In other times, it’s a city that never sleeps and there was a lot going on. I enjoyed NYNY. Today I have no interest in visiting. It’s a lawless place. Now NY State is different than the city in every measurable way but space aliens may be avoiding the place because ILLEGAL aliens are flooding the place and there’s simply no room.
I expect that space aliens visit Louisiana but are eaten by snakes and gators.
As I mentioned in e-mail, I’m awake at this unconscionable hour because I had to call Hong Kong for work. I think that I’m going back to sleep now and will chat with them later tonight their time. It’s the price that one pays for running a global business. Good news though, business is good.
Had to chuckle regarding the time difference. While working in Saudi Arabia local time was 8 hours ahead of US Central Standard Time, and Friday was the local equivalent of Sunday in the US. Associates in Houston would never recall those two facts as they would call my apartment phone on Friday to discuss business, disregarding it was my day off. They finally got the message when I started calling their home phone at the beginning of my work day on Sunday.

Been cooler here in Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming than the previous 10 years (it is currently 61deg at 7500ft elev). Old timers here say over their lifetimes these temps are more normal (cut trees show this as well). It’s pockets of heat over the entire country, yet the media morons are scripted to tell us that “this is new and different and everywhere”. It’s not.
As a kid I mowed our 3/4 acres lawn with a heavy steel deck Craftsman lawnmower…in August…in 90% humidity (PA). No fun but we didn’t complain [much], just took a drink from the garden hose then went fishing, rode our bikes, built a fort, or did whatever we wanted…as long as we were home for dinner in the non-AirCon house. People have been brainwashed to believe as gospel whatever the media shills present.

I had an argument with a guy yesterday.
He asserted that the ocean level 2000 years ago (time of Jesus Christ roughly) was hundreds of feet different than it is now.
I said, at the time of Caesars it was what it is now, we still have Roman ports that exist with Roman concrete that has endured. We know exactly what the sea level was then.
I mention that because people make statements without thinking things through and then get egged.
