There are a few things that are a threat to the demokracy that’s being pushed and they are all linked. The first is private ownership of firearms. The third is the ability to set up extrajudicial social justice standards and link those through ID and digital currency to rights of all sorts: Rights to travel, to buy and sell, to work, and to have medical care as examples.

To me, the expansion of the People’s Liberation Army’s Navy is a better indication of their intentions. Do I believe that China will launch an unprovoked attack on the West? No. Will they attack Russia with the intention to seize the territory East of the Urals? It’s a more likely scenario. When would they do that? Not in the winter. Russia is a snake eating its tail at the moment.

In the referenced case that LSP was aware of/involved in, a son wanted Mom’s money. He’d fallen into some financial trouble. The solution was to “suicide” her (legal in Canada) and take her money. In the US it’s called murder. In Canada it’s cool.

I have attended two Burning Man festivities back when I lived in Reno. It is a hedonistic, sexual carnival of freaks. It allows one to get their freak on. Back when I went, they had porta potties and H2O stations so you didn’t get dehydrated, but most of the idiots attending didn’t realize a high desert, hot climate you need 2 or 3 gallons a day. There wasn’t much crapping in the festivities areas, but I am sure some wandered off… The first one was with my wife, a Southern Baptist preachers kid that had a more than a passing interest in the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) and I wasn’t going to allow her, yes allow her to attend by herself and her girlfriend/coworker and the second when her brother visited a year later. A total freak show.

Those who have done inpatient medicine will know what that order means. (It’s also now not valid due to use of abbreviations.) In other words, “MAID” has been around forever. Personally I would want the option for myself, but it’s not for me to push onto others. (Yes, I have written that order, fewer than a dozen times, but definitely more than zero. I’ve also argued strenuously against the same. Depends on the case. And it’s never to be taken lightly.)
What appears to be happening in Canada and (too) much of Western Europe is outside the bounds of what I consider ethical. But I don’t see it as “suicide of the West”, unless you mean “Vince Foster suicide”. This was not compatible with western/Christian mores. It was almost certainly external (or rather, from those dug into the West like ticks, but not considering themselves part of the West). But the most enthusiastic pushers and practitioners of killing patients with morphine come from a specific ethnic group. They aren’t responsible for the pseudo-philosophical sophistry behind thus; they just do it. This is anecdotal based on personal experience and that of friends and colleagues, so it’s not statistically valid, but probably true. I don’t think it’s because the dominant religion believes in reincarnation. (And of course “not all of them are like that”. A good friend from New Delhi says, “I am ashamed on behalf of those people. And furious that I might get lumped in with them.”
