Sudanese Civil War

An armed conflict between rival factions of the military government of Sudan began on 15 April 2023, when clashes broke out across the country, mainly in the capital city of Khartoum and the Darfur region. As of 25 April, more than 450 people have been killed and more than 4,000 injured.

Sudan has considerable natural resources including but not limited to natural gas and gold. Controlling the profits from these resources has become a national pastime for those with troops, light armor, and arms.

There are US and European citizens who are interested in leaving but who have not for a myriad of reasons. Various agendas in the US and elsewhere are at work to blame (pick your target). They should have known better but they remain in Sudan (a shit-hole country).

The US should not intervene in a Sudanese Civil War where all parties are generally hostile to the US unless we buy their love.

The Chinese, Russians, and USA are trying to put their thumbs on the scale in Sudan, but it’s like pouring perfume on a pig. (never try and teach a pig to sing, it wastes your time and annoys the pig)

  4. Africa is a country ruled by the politics of resource acquirement. In a perfect world, Africa would be a united continent filled with patriots with the spirit of liberty. Since it isn’t, too much of it can only be described as a shit hole. I sometimes wonder if the deep problems of the continent begin with genetics that lead to the type of governments that appear.

    1. Of course, it’s racist to suggest a genetic imprint that leads them to still prefer human flesh in some areas. They have Cleopatra Ptolemy, Jesus, and Alexander Hamilton fall back on as ancestral icons.

    1. It wasn’t a bad interceptor, but the Russians could have launched beyond its combat range, and that’s a sticky wicket.

    It was a British twin-engine reconnaissance torpedo biplane used during the First World War, built by Blackburn Aircraft.

        1. I suspect their motives too. AIs – ever since SkyNet became sentient, they’ve been a pain.

  9. If you can’t do something, claim victory anyway. SloJo says no rescue for citizens in Sudan. Nice spin because he has so gutted our military capability we probably couldn’t do it. Should we try there would be so many constraints imposed that failure is guaranteed.

    1. He’s a lowlife Bum personified…and yet the MSM isn’t the least bit outraged over him leaving people to basically fend for themselves and/or die.
