(h/t Don) The 25th Amendment works well in theory. How it works in reality is you elect an imbecile (in the medical sense of the word) by halting the counting of votes at 3 AM, dumping millions of ballots in, and censoring any and all questions of how this came about. The media was in on it. The courts were in on it. The deep state ran the show. Everybody got his piece of the pie because once installed, the imbecile does what he is told. Over time, though, Joe Biden’s ability to do anything besides read a teleprompter declined to the point where he was a national embarrassment on the world stage.
Rather than call in the 25th Amendment—which would make Harris (a stupid and unreliable former whore) the first woman president—the deep state decided to just use Joe Biden as a meat puppet, pretending he was normal. Remember, normal for Joe Biden is pretty low IQ, always wrong and corrupt. It was a well-known fact in Washington, DC.
Robert Gates—defense secretary under Bush 43 and Obama—once wrote that Joe Biden was never right about any foreign policy in 40 years. Still, Gates voted for Biden in 2020 because, in DC, it is all about power, not about serving the country. For decades, the number of senators and congressmen we have has equaled a $40 trillion national debt and the inability to build a car or an airplane without foreign parts.

It would be a bit over 2000 miles to Williamstown where the FA-18s are based or 2500 to Amberly (local for me) where the F35s are.
They may wish to rethink those deployments. 2000 miles means your code is BUSTER, and they’ll need to launch a ready tanker. Australia is wider across than the Moon (literally), and while missile (SAM) defenses are ok, if it hits the fan, you want jets with AMRAAMs in the air.

Once Joe is dead history will be written that the 15th AMNDMT should have been used early on in his presidency and so they will not-cannot next time. It will be used as quickly as impeachment was on Trump 45 against the 1st non Dem that they can target. Only way to combat this is to find younger candidates, Rubio and Vance short term obviously but really those that follow after them will be the targets in the next 10 -14 years. Those low IQ voters will go for it 100%.

I’ve had Italian friends who wouldn’t attend Mass at a Polish/German Catholic church if their lives depended on it (unless it was a funeral).
I’ve had ultra-Orthodox friends who wouldn’t go to Shabbos services in a schuul where the worshippers originally came from a different town in a different region of the Ukraine.
I’ve had friends from Bronxville and from Tuckahoe (towns in Westchester county, NY) of the same parental background, same religion, who were constantly at odds with one another – though they could join together sans rancor to repel “invaders” from Yonkers.
I’ve also begun to wonder (at this late date) if this isn’t also somewhat engendered by the competitiveness of high school athletic teams, math teams, debate teams – or, competitiveness in general.
Or, by extension, wars: us against them.
Then again, hasn’t this competitiveness during wartime advanced our scientific thinking more rapidly than during periods of peace.

Leather, I have a hard plastic holster for my 10mm and I hate it. I will use my 45GAP holster to carry my 10 but I carry the GAP more often. The normal 45 GAP is roughly equivalent to 45 ACP+P but can be pushed much higher with no issues.
Which Glock model? 37, 38 or 39? Can you buy ammo for it at a store or do you have to get it online?

Yeah, I have downsized my EDC. Stuff seems to get heavy. My scale says no, but I think it lies.
I’m Sticky and have used it as IWB on occasion.
I have a couple six gun leather holsters for looks and storage.
Everything else gets a case.
I keep mine in cases (gun rugs) when they’re not in service. I prefer leather for off-duty/civilian carry. I prefer a low draw on nylon webbing with the weapon in plastic for tactical (uniform) use. Given that I’m not tactical these days, leather. There is something pleasant about leather.
Totally off-topic:
Since the states are playing hob with driving license/voter registration (I truly hate to get the Feds involved: 1. they’re no more reliable than the states, 2. the same problems can occur but on a much greater scale), I think driving licenses (several classes as necessary) should be issued from/by the U.S government only with a birth certificate and a full set of fingerprints.
(Unfortunately I can already see a way around this.)
Our voting system has been degraded to a joke. In my mind (I’m certain the lawyers amongst the readers would disagree), voting more than once in the same election or in an election when/where one has no right to determine the outcome is akin to (if not actually) treason. The situation has arisen that a driving license is no longer proof-of-identity and can/should not be employed as a voter identification; only a set of fingerprints plus a full-face recent photo should be employed as ID – unfortunately I can think of ways to subvert this form of ID as well.
Interestingly, with the Real ID NSA overreach (never stops does it), and after replacing the ‘new and improved’ bland Colorado DL with our Montana ones…AND THEY LOOKED THE SAME… I came to realize this was the Federal government ninny’s demanding conformity.
At that point my hackles and suspicions pegged the distrust meter. Data Centers are a collection device for privacy removal of We The People. Same goes for so-called Cloud Storage…don’t do it myself, a backup drive is cheaper and keeps my private data (well, a lot of it anyway) private. Put it out there and someone with criminal intent will steal it.
When necessary (which really should be all the time) my preferred carry has always been (despite loud outcries from the OL “Do you think that it’s really necessary?) the 10mm in some replication/brand of the standard 45. No matter which holster in which position I’ve tried, they all appear 1. too apparent or 2. stick into my gut/roll of fat too uncomfortably. I suppose if I pick the best of the lot and wear it 24/7 I could get used to it even this late in life.
Better to walk/ambulate/hobble (I’m not certain what verb to use with walker or rollator) around uncomfortably than be carried by six friends.
Currently don’t carry, which puts me in the minority around here…but with Montana CC licensing now available online (kid you not…gotta love Montana and a few other states for adopting this recently) that will change. In the meantime I have a Byrna CL (call it a p—y gun, but it has stopping power without the wrecked conscience for those of us not used to such things or trained to aim-fire at another human being as many of you have been. Good in-between carry.)
Power back on middle of night due to contractors restored it. Cell service internet is spotty and Xfinity is a ways away as they’ve hundreds of down lines. Thanks for the power wall ideas.

A couple years ago I was at Denver airport talking to a random guy as we were winter delayed. We got talking about city crime and he said
“you’ve no idea what it’s like working in downtown Detroit. Where do you work?” I told him, “right now downtown Gary, In.” We both started laughing. Other side note. Gary bus and snow plow drivers are allowed to conceal carry on job as residents were robbing them. It’s a different world there.

I was an ER RN (threatened many times at work) and a reserve PD officer. For the last 40 yrs, when I’m not in the shower or asleep, I have a North American Arms 22mag on my belt or more often in my pocket, these days in kydex from Lost River Holsters. If I want more, it’s a Smith j-frame airweight, lately in 1791 Leather, full of +p. If I need more than that, I shouldn’t be there.
The .22 mag cartridge is formidable.
Just looked up Lost River Holsters and saw one I like for my NAA. What I have now is a no name nylon holster with a belt clip.
Their Original holster serves well in my pocket, tied with a paracord belt leash which unholsters the revolver as you draw. Their Tactical Belt Carry is perfect for a small guy like me: it rides real tight and the revolver simply disappears without needing baggy cover garments.
Bite my tongue. Went to Twin Falls for a meeting this afternoon and saw a black guy. Do believe he was an African. We do have some refugees.

Q of the day; I like leather. I like to wear wool. Being on the lower end, my O.C. is neoprene and C.C. is a stretchy spandex. ” Of all things” I was polling the Fallers on the fireline yesterday. One was using an aluminum scabbard and the other, leather to pack their falling axes. ( We only drive “plastic”wedges with them to lay a tree against its lean.) The preference was leather. I went back to Aluminum because of working on the coast. And yes, I was coveting the custom leather one for a second then switched to appreciation mode. BTW, here in the PNW fallers won’t touch anything but Counsel or Collins axes. For splitting firewood with steel wedges, I use a maul, and never a falling axe.

P.S. I actually found a wooden wedge left on an old growth stump while falling in southern Oregon. My preference is K and H, having tried many of the other brands over 12 continuous yrs of falling.
