I guess he hit it – like almost every wealthy black guy in America who is big into outcall has.

If Kamala spits in a petri dish, she will spawn a whole new species.

The Magic Kingdom

Zeihan recently commented that the US has mainly become self-sufficient in oil, and it was never really reliant upon Saudi crude in the first place. Back in the day, the US formed a relationship with Saudi Arabia not for itself but instead to provide US allies with oil. He misses the point that the Saudis pump enough oil to move the price on their own. Under the upcoming Trump Administration, the US needs to approve the construction of refineries and port facilities to increase exports in cooperation with a Canadian partner.

US-Saudi relations were good during the past Trump Administration, but they have deteriorated under the Biden Regime, heavily influenced by Barack Hussein Obama, who always favored Iran. The question of American strategic interests in the Middle East must be revisited and possibly rethought. Saudi Arabia requires a strategic military partner. China doesn’t have the legs, the Europeans don’t have the muscle and who wants to form a relationship with the Turks?

Joint Military Exercises

Though I’m not a huge fan of US forward basing and the expenses involved, there is much to be gained from joint exercises. In the referenced article (h/t Claudio), the Super Garuda Shield exercise in neutral Indonesia is interesting for those who were and were not there. It helps you to read the tea leaves. In my experience, the relationships forged between military officers from different countries are strengthened by interactions and, more importantly, dinners after hours. Ulchi Focus Lens, Cobra Gold, and other annual interoperability exercises are not a waste of money. I’ve seen the value firsthand as a US Navy officer participating in these.

Teamsters for Trump

(link) The teamsters say NO to the HO, but the union has decided not to anger their democrat masters and endorse President Trump.

The last Republican the Teamsters endorsed was George H.W. Bush in 1988.
The Teamsters endorsed a Democrat in the last six presidential elections.
This time, Trump was polling at 58% while Harris was at 31%.
The Teamsters have approximately 1.3 million members.
They’re tired of Bidenomics.

  1. One is the BARC (Barge, Amphibious Resupply, Cargo) which became the The LARC-LX

    Five is Chariot manned torpedo

    1. The LARC-LX didn’t last too long. Not a bad idea, but amphibious warfare changed after Inchon.

  2. Identify the Vehicle:
    1. LARC-LX
    2. M42 Duster
    Identify the Aircraft:
    3. Fairey Firefly
    4. HAL Tejas
    Identify the Watercraft:
    5. Motorised Submersible Canoe aka sleeping beauty
    6. Mark 9 SDV with (perhaps) Mk 67 submarine launched mobile mine
    Identify the Feature Film:
    A. Star Trek: First Contact
    B. Mars Attacks!
    C. Get Smart (TV show)

    1. Excellent. The torpedoes attached to the MK-9 SDV are MK-37s. The mine (not technically a limpet) is designed to be affixed to the target – man delivered, not a stand-off weapon like a captor mine. I know what you were thinking. The MK-67 SLMM is a submarine-launched mine in service with the U.S. Navy that consists of a Mk-37 torpedo body with a modified warhead and trigger. The pictured weapons are not MK-37s with the MK-67 mod.

C – The cone of silence is being used in the photo – a key tool in the war against KAOS.

      1. I first thought it could be a Mark 37 but then thought a SDV would be an excellent covert mine delivery vehicle.

        1. The MK-9 was a miserable contraption to operate because the two-man crew had to lie prone, their necks craned up inside the little coffin. It was designed to remain submerged near a point of land or in a channel where ships would pass near so it could ambush them. Not for the claustrophobic. Your idea is sound, but not for that platform, which could not fit inside a drydock shelter (DDS) the way a MK-8 could. SDVs have been an evolving weapons system. Wet subs are all miserable to work in and some of the mission profiles (still classified as far as I know) make it all the worse.

      2. Those aren’t CONES! At first glance they appear to be hemispheres merged with a lower cylindrical section. “Ekshully.”

        1. No, torpedoes. Accoustic homing. The newer models had an acoustic terminal guidance that went active before they detonated so they didn’t necessarily go for the propellers, the logic board had them strike UNDER center mass. They’ve since been phased out, surplussed off to allied nations.

  3. One of the more x rated jokes I know is based on Max and 99’s honeymoon. Was told to some of us by a retired RSM who came back for one more trip away about 40 years ago.

I don’t tell it in mixed company.

  4. Since Finland and Sweden joined NATO the US has signed agreements to establish military bases in all Nordic countries.
Putin really worked as a catalyst to speed up what did not happened the last 70 years.

    1. The law of unintended consequences bit the Russians and the Chinese. The US basing in Scandinavia, the Philippines, and Japan is on an armament push to take on the Chinese in blue water. All of Europe is rearming and re-tooling for war. The British would like to do something about their problem but the drain of the socialist state, Muslim immigrants and other domestic issues makes them look far less formidable – more of a lamb than a lion these days.

  5. Harris- Sure got around despite only having one “talent” (well, that’s why of course). Heard the Oprah clip yesterday, that thing the demented are calling an interview (uh, huh)…learned a new word: “Mamala”. Gag! Spit! Gross! That’s what the fabulously vacuous but wealthy TV show host used to describe the Marionette VP who has been selected by the treasonous subversives for WE THE PEOPLE’S house. Just what we need is one of P-Diddler’s arm candy in the Oval Office. These people (et al.) have disgraced our Constitution and America, anyone voting for them needs a “new and improved” pager with a 1-Day service plan. How anyone could support or vote for this Ked’s wearing sanctimonious vacuous grifter is beyond all rationale, proving Satan has the minds of about half of America.

Climate Change- Yup, something like 4 times depending on your locale. Here?…aspens are changing, happens every year about this time. But EVERYBODY PANIC! and buy a useless EV to save Gaia (or toilet paper, whatever floats your boat). Heck, next week we might even get snow, then might get warm days, then more cold, then – magically – sometime around next Spring-ish, warmer weather. In my day we called that “seasonal weather” and whatever shows up is what you get. But this is the mentality foisted upon the public by the galactically stupid who can’t — a) Give a straight answer to a question…as with this brainless wonder, “they were raised middle class by a single mom who worked hard to buy a house and the lawns looked terrific” (rinse and repeat), b) Have no clue what a woman is despite…pieces-parts, c) Support men who think they are woman (even though they can’t define “woman”…funny that) are allowed to compete in woman’s sports, crushing any competition.
—CC is nothing but a made up thingy hiding a tax scheme…like property taxes where you buy something only to be given the privilege to rent it back from government morons who think we work for them.
    —Mini-Rant over.

Cromwell- Even in Star Trek:First Contact I still saw him as “Babe”. Heh. Always liked his roles and acting style (iRobot and The Green Mile were gooduns).

          1. Don’t shoot me, never saw LA Confidential…might see if it’s on Prime, watch it tonight….otherwise it’s Reacher S2 again.

          1. That’s what he said to Babe (Baa Ram Eue, etc.) I’m sure that we can send him a two slice toaster with a gift certificate for a loaf of Wonder Bread.

  6. Could the current stories about them jailing Diddy be because he knows too much about the Came-ala.
    .
Unfortunately, definitive proof would be him getting the Epstein treatment .

    1. My thought as well. Same deal the MSM/TPTB are doing with Mark Robinson…fake garbage to discredit the man. Apparently Diddy is on suicide watch…and despite gel shoes and a micro toothbrush he’ll mange to secretly hang himself in his cell when the cam’s magically go out for that same time period. There are no coincidences.

      1. The story is out that he’s suicidal. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him swinging in his cell with his interactions with Kamala silenced for all time.

        1. PaulM/Sig – I have no idea what her body count is, but if all of the inner city people that she’s consorted with suddenly suicide out, we’re going to need a lot more rich black guys to replace them – opportunities for failed inner-city basketball pro hopefuls looking for another way to the top.

          1. Contrast Harris’s life of [call it what you will] with a younger DJT; building things, making things happen, donating his time and resources to repair things and help others…not even close. He’s a net positive to America, she’s part of the power-hungry elite as a useful idiot who believes she’s a legend in her own word-salad mind.

          2. Right…I keep forgetting that part. Oh, and she’s an accomplished multi-accented Black, exactly what America needs sitting behind the Resolute Desk ruling over…well…the Communist dumpster fire.

  7. >influenced by Barack Hussein Obama, who always favored Iran
    You misspelled “Valerie Jarrett”.

I like the infographic maps, but Maine as primarily “urban housing” and New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Adirondacks as “Urban Commercial”? Maine is mostly moose housing. And Vermont is either heavily armed, eco-freak, organic hippies (it’s an interesting culture), or rich weekender assholes from NYC and Stamford. Clearly they did some averaging across the tracts, where Mass “oozed into” Maine and NYFC did the same into upstate NY, VT and NH. The question is how did they come up with the tracts in the first place?

If you’re kidnapped by aliens you MIGHT get anal probed. If you attend a Diddy party, you won’t remember what happened, but you WILL have a sore “leather cheerio”. Here’s my problem with all this: Yeah, it’s bad. He did a lot of terrible things. But what is wrong with us as a society that a guy calling himself “Diddy” could even amass so much power and influence? I can see multiple reasons why Epstein got to where he was, but freaking Sean Combs? If anything, this proves that America is not “racist”. Stupid, foolish, overly tolerant, sure. But not racist.

    1. Oh. Duh. I totally missed the point on the land use map. They were just being cute to lay out what would have been, say, a pie chart, onto the US map. Mea culpa. ☹️

As to “heavily-armed” Vermont hippies. By most people’s standards. Not this crowd.

      1. Vermont is hard to pin down. I’ve spent a lot of time in rural northern Vermont and i can tell you everyone got a pistol on them and drives with a beer between their legs. That maps not accurate.

        1. I hope you’re not saying that there’s something wrong with that?
          **
The map is just a graphic.

    2. Sean Combs named his dick “Puff Daddy” – then he named himself that. People agreed that he was a dick and it changed to P-Diddy – whatever. I would exrapolate from that nigga that the rapping crowd was given too much credit. Then again, “My Ho-My Bitch, My Bitch-My Ho!” while holding your Puff Daddy never struck me as an art form. I’m racist that way. It’s a lot like break dancing – if you’re into it, who cares? An Olympic sport? Naaah. All the girls, presumably also Kamala signed legal forms before they were subjected to ‘sexual humiliation’ and while that might not save him, it does give him ‘reasonable doubt.’

      1. Proving once again Satan controls these people and makes them famous so he can run them as society influencer’s to our Yutes (think Taylor Swift).

  8. Dang, that’s a large Shore Connector!

    Business was so bad
He took a shtik of RDX
    And sold it to Fahad.
(music is an old Hebrew melody)
    * I’m looking at the “Global Warming” graph and I’m thinking “Uh-oh! The sun’s cooling off again. Just how bad is this next ice age gonna get? Should we start to build/design nuclear-powered subterranean (read: supra-mantle) housing?”
Are we passing through a region of space which diminishes (read: does provide sufficient fuel for) the sun’s energy/fusion reactions?

    1. Boron, we’re doomed to freeze in Snowball Earth unless we get out there and BBQ those hamburgers and hot dogs on the weekend!

  10. When I first saw the pie chart which showed the Saudi oil supply fraction at only about 15%, I went whaaaaaat? Then during the financial crisis of, maybe 2004, US oil use dropped about 15% as people stopped driving on vacations to save money. The sky didn’t fall. The electricity stayed on. Semis carrying food kept rolling.
    .
The next lie behind oil supply is that Saudis being allies in the region is critical to the US great game position. And/or that the petrodollar is necessary to be the reserve currency. I don’t believe those anymore. The next lie behind the great game, and the reserve currency, is that it’s necessary to do it at all; vs. having enough nukes on subs to be a porcupine. I don’t believe that one anymore.

the chair> set up another coat hanger pole in the open air, where you can hang up clothes for airing and rewear: metro.com/shop/metro-super-erecta-garment-hanger-tube-with-brackets

  11. the chair> Why doesn’t everyone notice the lack of a place for the logistic category of ‘clothes worth rewearing’? Why doesn’t your house have a mudroom and loading dock where you can bring in the groceries and packages from the car under cover from weather, and deposit them onto a mail sorting table for package breakdown and incoming inspection? The auto parts store back room is clean, tidy, organized; everything is labeled and they have an inventory. Why isn’t your garage?
    .
I think it’s a carefully-trained failure of imagination. Middle-class houses are designed to be a logistics disaster, you’re supposed to adopt the inefficiency as a fetish and practice it as a religious ritual. Otherwise you might have too much time free to educate your children, or start a self-supporting, disruptive business.

    1. My house has a mud room. It also has a 5 car garage that houses actual cars and a motorcycle.

  12. Upper Midwestern Yankees retire to Florida. Lose the attic volume because no longer need roof pitch to shed snow. Lose the basement volume because the water table is shallow. Stuff moves to expensive self-storage where it’s easily lost to one missed payment sudden death rental policies, and government and private thieves riffle through it.
    .
So all that needed to happen was one architect who noticed this design problem writing a letter to the NYT lifestyle web page back in the 50’s, and the trend was corrected? Even The Simpsons couldn’t shake off their programming; when Lisa discovers a corrupt legislator he’s in prison inside a week.

_How Buildings Learn: What Happens After They’re Built_ by Stewart Brand amazon.com/How-Buildings-Learn-Happens-Theyre/dp/0140139966

    1. That’s a great book…an oft used reference to avoid those design blind spots most never see until after the place it up and running. My personal design philosophy has always been “how a place lives, how it sits on the land, and how best to make that happen”. Can’t always, but the loss of charm in home design, replaced by square footage and cheap materials and impersonal interior to exterior interface (mostly nonexistent in many PUD’s). Frank Lloyd Wright’s Seth Peterson cottage (Wisconsin Dells, Maple Lake) is 800 sq ft that lives like twice that…and that was his last commission from the 50’s.

    2. Chairs are insufficient for storing not yet dirty clothing. Maybe it’s just in Dixie but everyone here knows the purpose of an exercise machine/clothesrack.

  13. Identify the feature film/TV show. I thought I knew the answer to “C” but “missed it by that much.” Sorry about that, Chief.

      1. Montel Williams hit it too. So did MC Hammer, who’s “can’t touch this” didn’t apply to Kamala.

        1. She was one busy grifter….climbing the LA ladder of influence. Terrific, just what we need. (not saying it…nope…not…rrrr…okay…”This can’t get any worse, right?”)

        1. I’m sure that the guards would tell you that no gold chains were booked into his property (normally listed as ‘yellow metal’ chains – because they don’t know if they’re actual gold). If they were lost but Combs had shuffled off this mortal coil, who would care? Likely fake gold anyway…

          1. He’s been doing this for decades now. Nothing new, Hopefully he will have his teeth kicked in the first day and be used as a toilet the rest of his miserable life. POS!

    1. When Diddy offs himself (possibly by cutting his own throat from behind, ear-to-ear), evidence will be found proving that Trump was Diddy’s close confidant and co-rapist/pervert/sex-trafficker. Sure, Robert DiNigro likes heavily melaninated crack hoes, but that was commercial sex workers, so it’s totally not comparable. The Donald will be revealed to enjoy sodomizing drugged-but-proud Black Men. (Kinda like Democrat stalwart Ed Buck, but we won’t go there. And second-beard Doug Emhoff apparently likes him some Black dick too, but he’s probably a catcher, so also not comparable.)

I ask again, how did a clown like Sean Combs rise to such power anyway? Any sane society would have stepped on him like the roach that he is from the get go. It’s hard to believe that he was some Deep State trap from the beginning. So what then? How did he get his start? Some fireplug-shaped, bald guy “with fat hands” like the fictional Les Grossman (only for real and not a Tom Cruise LARP)?
